Did you ever find out what was wrong. I am experiencing this but also have a dull ache that wraps around left side of stomach to back
Did you ever find out anything about this condition. I am experiencing this and can find no information about it. I would like a possible idea before I go to doctors and they run a bunch of crazy tests.
I have been suffering from this for about 3 weeks now. Doctor's have been of limited help. What is going on?!
Did her treatment fix it?
People....it's acid reflux. Take some Tums or Prilosec and breath :)
Me too why
I am seeing my physician for these exact same symptoms. I stopped YOGA because I was having a tightness exacerbated by pain in my left mid back. After a few months I started running and/or walking to continue to exercise. Few months later I further exacerbated this back pain and couldn't touch my toes or tie my shoes without sharp localized pain in my mid left back. I also started having a strange muscle spasm-like sensation that would start on my left base rib area and extend to my left umbilicus area. As time went on and I have been doing physical therapy, I continue to feel the localized pain on my back at either the base of my left ribs, left thoracic/spine muscle area, or lumbar area (it all depends on which position I am in). I now feel a numbness and tingling that extends from the left flank 12th rib to the umbilical area which is so annoying. I am about to ask for an MRI to rule out any abnormal disease process or nerve entrapment syndromes.
I had a little rash on my back, and then numbness right on top of my upper left ribcage, with a little bit of nausea. I was diagnosed with shingles.
So how is the medication helping?? Have your symptoms gotten better?
Thank you, i have decided to make a doctors appointment it bothers me to much
I don't know how old this thred is, but this just stsrted happening to me when I stood up a little while ago. It's a freaky, scary feeling. I'm not seeing any answers :/ The upper upper, kind of high left quadrant of my belly has gone completely numb out of the blue. Of course I googled it and found this. Sorry of this thred is old, but it's 2:45 AM and I got up to open the backdoor to listen to a cloudburst rain, and when I stood up this was happening. Scared
I have had this same problem off and on for a couple years. Primary Care, who is also a doctor of internal medicine, said the numbness was caused by my lower back. I have bulging discs in my lower back and some arthritis. I've been having the numbness again for the past two weeks. I have an appt. with the chiropractor this evening.
The other cause the Doctor mentioned was IBS. You will have to google that because there are quite a few symptoms that go with that.
I've had these exact same symptoms. It's a numbness like it's fallen asleep that goes around to my back.......and my right arm and hand have the same problem. I don't see anyone posting what it may be. I've been to the doctor numerous times complaining about this and he always says he's never heard of anyone having symptoms like this.
I have numbness on right side of my torso, right of stomach. Feels numb, worse at night speratic sharp pain, again after eating, feels like dead skin.
I also have the numbness and sometimes terrible muscle spasms in my upper stomach and side muscles. Dr says sciatica. I've suffered from this in the past affecting my left thigh, excruciating pain. The numbness in my side feels weird but does not hurt. Chiropractor and stretching help tons.
