Also the nalaxone in the subuxone is an anti-poison, most anti-poisons are poisons themselves.
wikipedia:
Withdrawal symptoms have shown to be up to twice as severe than those of morphine or heroin at equivalent doses[dubious – discuss] and are significantly more prolonged; methadone withdrawal symptoms can last for several weeks or more.[citation needed] A general guideline is a 1:1 ratio for trouble free detox. Being on a constant dose of say 100 mg. for one year, can take 18–24 months for safe detoxification[dubious – discuss]. At high maintenance doses, sudden cessation of therapy can result in severe withdrawal symptoms lasting from weeks to months.[44]
Either you are super lucky or very full of BS! I would quit an eight ball a day heroin habit cold turkey again before I would go through opioid withdrawal again
You seem to know alot and have been threw it all.any help for me.
I know i cant stay clean and live with an active heroin addict but i got to get clean asap to get on track.
I am a profesional, and on a pain clinic i need to give clean urines to stay on,I have cancer,I never gave a dirty urine and dont want to start,i have 2 wks before i go back and enough saboxone to take 3 / 8 mg a day.

NOo...i totally understand her!! Subs are a b***h to get off of. I'm on day 12 and still feel like poop and no sleep..Im going mad from no sleep! I understand completley what she means about getting on pills for a few months then taking subs for 4 days! That is the way to go, if u can! In alot of rehabs they detox there patients w subs for 3-4 days and usually after detox the patient feels pretty good! Subs take months to withdrawl from. And she is completely right about cutting the strips...i weined down to .5mg and lower and still am having withdrawl. I can eat and don't have stomach issues. But, the fatigue is bad and the restless leg at night is bad. Hope I can get through this. Im trying no to take pills for a few reasons. But, if I could, that is the way to go. Makes perfect sense. I can tell she has been through it. Alot of people reply on these things cause they think they know it all yet have never been on subs for a long period of time.
Suboxone/Methadone, they are all hell to get off of...I was on heroin then got on methadone then they put me on subs now i can't get off the subs...They want u to relapse, don't u see!!! Its a money making buisness! They want you to come crawling back to the rehabs and the clinics! That's why they made the withdrawl of subs last for so long, so that u relapse and go crawling back to rehabs and clinics!!!!!!!!!! They need addicts to stay addicts!! Come on, do u really think sub and methadone therapy really work? Yeah, if your on them for your whole life! They are made to make u relapse when you try to come off. I have been around the block a time or two, I see how all this sh*t works now!! Do yourself a favor, don't ever, ever take the first one of nothing!! God Bless u all! Its a tough world out there!
BUT for people who can't control themselves with opiate pills, suboxone has proven manageable to almost all of these people including me.
Suboxone saved my life from a fuc*ed addiction. It took a month to start feeling normal after quitting suboxone. I had to smoke cigarettes to calm the restless legs.
I wasnt even a smoker but I tried it one day to minimize the amount of oxygen and blood rushing to the legs and it freakin worked. Took me another couple months to quit the cigarettes but no big deal. It was the one true factor that allowed me to get some sleep while suboxone withdrawling.
You are right with this . ive been on subs for years now everyonce and a while i would do dope again. after 4 days back on subs I felt would be the best time to man up and quit from there cuz like anything else anything more tha a couple days your hooked
Ive been On suboxone for 5 years. Before I got on it I wanted to die. I could not stop drinking or using drugs. Now I am generally happy. I have my own buisness. And I own my own home. I would have never been able to do any of this when I was drinking or using. I would most likely be dead if I had not been prescribed suboxone. So yes, suboxone helped save my life and I have no plans on getting off it. If its not broke dont fix it.
this person is putting folks at great risk
