Hello,

I am experiencing very similar problems, i have been to an optomologist and been diagnosed with pendular nystagmus (which I have had since a child). I have an ENT balance test next week, and I am hoping they find something wrong with my innner ears.  Has anyone had similiar issues, and have the nystagmus?  My current vision is 20/25, so the need for corrective lenses isnt really a necessity......and the 'out of touch, lightheaded' feeling seems to be getting worse....

I am so amazed!! I have been feeling this way for over a month now and have contemplated a hospital visit. I am glad I found this forum..I have exactly the same symptoms as the rest of you. I have had a MRI (normal) and going for an ECHO friday. Doc says he has no clue whats wrong with me and that makes me even more nervous! Is this really just anxiety? Makes me want to cry, I consider myself a very strong person and don't "feel" anxiety! The doctors just blow me off claiming it's menopause...I will keep you all in my prayers as I hope we someday find a way to live normal and this stupid anxiety (free).

I'm the same, everything is hazy like I'm a bit high all the time. It's quite disconcerting but could be either the symptoms of anaemia or dehydration.

Anaemia is more likely if you feel itchy regularly, get ulcers in the corners of your mouth, suffer from tinnitus (ringing in ears) or have an irregular heartbeat. I have all of these so will be getting myself tested for anaemia.

I've also been having some serious problems with dizziness, vision, balance, fatigue, lightheadedness and lately problems with my memory and speech.  To be quite honest I wake up in the morning feeling like I've been drinking, when I clearly have not been.  I'm only 22 years old, a senior in college, and was extremely physically active until about a month ago.  I've had these problems for about a year and a half now and they only seem to get worse.  I finally went to the doctor last week and he mentioned MS or a possible brain tumor and scheduled me an immediate MRI.  While I'm waiting for the results I've been in quite a panic.  It's gotten to the point where I can't drive or hardly carry on a normal conversation with someone.  Does anyone have any advice, tips, or possible answer for me while I wait on the results?

Hi everyone,
I am so glad I came across this site.   It's sad to hear that so many people are suffering from these same symptoms, but at the same time, I feel comfort knowing that I'm not the only one.  I've been feeling these symptoms for the last 10 months.  Recently 1.5 months ago, while at work (I love my job as a sales rep), I encountered something really weird.  All of a sudden, I felt disoriented, sweaty, spinning, blurred vision, difficulty concentrating (couldn't even do basic math), and an increased heart rate, etc.  In my mind I was thinking, "omg, what is going on with me".  I felt like I was going to collapse, and that I needed to go to the hospital.  The thoughts of "omg, I think I am going to die" crossed my mind, and visions of people whom I love and never got to say proper I-love-yous to even crossed my mind.  I couldn't concentrate anymore and decided to go sit down in the cafeteria, thinking that perhaps it's because I didn't have breakfast, and perhaps my sugar was low.  I forced myself to eat even though I didn't have any appetite.  After approximately 10 mins, I started to feel a bit better, but extremely exhausted.  The next day I went to the doctor, and he said that most likely I had an anxiety/panic attack.  And because of this incident,  I now have a constant fear whenever I feel hungry (it reminds me of that day), or that I might collapse, etc.  A friend suggested that I should perhaps practice cognitive therapy through books (while waiting to get an appointment with a psychiatrist ...long waiting list).  I sleep well, and eat well, I'm happy (or at least try to be happy), but these symptoms just won't go away.  I experience it everyday!!!  My blood tests are fine, ECG is fine; ENT doc says my ear is fine; and I am considering getting more tests done.  Sorry for this long post, it's just that I wanted to share my story with you, just in case someone finds a way to get better, please let me know as I will do the same.  I just want to encourage everyone to make the best of everyday despite our symptoms, make sure you have lots of support, and stay positive. The mind is very powerful.  Good like to you all, and remember, you are not alone.

Hi, I've read several of your post. I've gone through the same thing for years. My chiropractor says I'll have a lot of toxins, and low adrenals,  which will causes all kinds of stuff. I believe even anemia, which will cause you to be tired, dizzy and not function or think properly. Toxins will cause the same symtoms as well.

Also I have hypoglycemia and years ago I was put on a herbal supplement called LBS to take with food, I took 2 tablets every meal. I can tell you for the first time I could think of, I didn't feel tired, exhausted like I got hit by a tranquilizer after eating. It was the most amazing feeling.  I haven't been able to find it since and I feel the same way I used to. I still haven't been able to find something that helps give me the enzymes and regulates my blood sugar. What ya'll are describing is exactly my symptoms for years when I can't regulate my enzymes from IBS and Hypoglycemia.  Hope this helps.

P.S My Chiropractor helps me a ton on my health, and catches things faster than my regular doctor. They are natural healing, doctors are more into science hard core evidence, and will catch things when it's broke, not before it's broke or completely screwed up. Your body will react long before it actually breaks.

alot of the symptoms you mentioned are connected with hypothyroidism (or hyper), which i have. I also have tick-borne infections, so if you've ever been bitten by a tick (and if your symptoms are severe) that is something you might want to look into

i am 17 years old have been feeling these same symptoms for about 2 years. i have given up because i have taken multiple visits to the ear and eye doctors and i have also had an MRI and they all say nothing is wrong, it is extremely frustrating and i wish someone could help. i have a constant ringing sound in my ears and i feel a very slight lightheadedness all the time. my vision really bothers me, it seems like it is blurry but it isnt really, i can still read books without glasses but i notice something wrong. it also seems like my memory isnt as good as it used to be and i get tired a lot. the last symptom i feel is my night vision, it is a challenge for me to see in the dark. and lately my ears have been getting worse. someone help.

hi. i have dealt with this for a while, i am 18. My tips to dealing with it, try focusing on something else. If you do feel uncomfortable in a situation, remove yourself as sometimes staying there can bring on more panic and make it worse. Also, start taking a multivitamin and a b-vitamin complex, drink lots more water, start going to bed at around 10pm or earlier if possible. Dont oversleep, get up at a reasonable time and keep it scheduled. Start eating more organic, fresh foods. Stop ingesting artificial sweeteners (NO DIET PRODUCTS) but if needed, try stevia (a natural sweetener). DO some deep breathing excercises, and maybe see a chiropractor. Also, see a naturopath and talk to them. Your issue could simply be candida or lyme disease, or aspartame poisoning. Also, when you have a diagnosis seek natural treatment because some medications can make things worse :)

i'd suggest seeing a chiropractor or naturopath - seek natural healing before medicinal, as they work with your body to fix the issues rather than giving you pills which can make it worse. Maybe see a acupuncturist, see if that helps. Try taking fish oil for a bit, but be careful cause it can thin your blood. Look into allergies, candida, lymes disease or even internal parasites. There are many possibilities which doctors seem to not acknowledge. Also keep a diary of your symptoms and when they get worse or better (e,g, after a certain food, drinking, when out) Look at the post above by me for some other things to try. Most importantly, if you are big on the diet softdrinks or diet products (including sugar free gum) GIVE THEM UP NOW!!! The sweetener aspartame is toxic and has cause symptoms similar to graves disease for many. If you do give up, expect withdrawal symptoms (some worse than drug withdrawal) as it is an extremely addictive substance :)
