I used to see my father use something called a styptic pencil to stop the bleeding when he cut himself shaving. That stuff works by shrinking the skin so I wonder if putting that on the foreskin would cause it shrink? If you try it and it works please post the results here.
I began permanent retraction when i was 51. At first the exposed head was sensitive and it felt uncomfortable - similar to a stone in your shoe, but this slowly disappeared. Now it is retracted all the time and I don't think about it.
I have started to keep my foreskin retracted since two months. In last two days, when I retracted it back, my glans had red bruises. And Today, it appears as if the entire skin on the glans is peeling off. Even the foreskin seems to be stretched which gives sort of discomfort.. Is This normal ir something to worry about. I can also feel some pain in my penis. I have been lubricating my penis whenever possible though.

You are trying to dry it out by keeping the foreskin back but you are lubricating it? Doesn't make sense.
Yeah i missed that! So is that why the skin has cracks all.I've the circumference? I have been using antifungal cream. How much time would it take for the cracks to heal and get back to normal? I m scared.

How did you keep your foreskin retracted.
I want start the proces, I had a frenuluplasty so I don't have a frenulum my foreskin can be pulled all the way down.

just started retracting today, foreskin fits behind the glans comfortably, but theres a ring of bunched up skin around the glans, does this go away with time? thanks!
At least you've found the joy of being able to pull it all the way down. For me that IS a true joy. If anyone finds a way to make it stay there that does not involve a needle and thread, let us know. I have even thought about some sort of piercing so I could pull it back and hook it there. I did devise a rubber band contraption that really worked. One small one to fit the penis and a larger one to slip over my balls. That did hold it back even during the day inside my pants but by the end of the day the rubber bands dug into the skin a bit. It was nice to be able to experience the bare head and inner foreskin rubbing on my underwear all day. It was also nice to be able to masturbate without having to hold it back with the other hand. Of course I wouldn't want to hold it back there permanently as that would destroy the sensitivity that makes it so enjoyable.
I doubt that will go away as it is the foreskin that wants to be back over the head. They say if you do that to a baby though the penis will grow without the foreskin following it so when he's grown he looks like he was circumcised. How old are you? If you are young enough you may be able to experience that somewhat.
My boyfriend had the problem of tight foreskin and found it extremely uncomfortable to have sex or even being touched. He started pulling it back and keeping it back for a year and now it looks circumcised. He also lasts much longer now and does not have any pain so it's much better for both of us;)

This is day 2 of my retraction. Foreskin seems to be bulged and the head seems wrinkled a bit. It looks a bit weird. Is this normal initially? Would my foreskin start to shrink naturally? I have no pain or discomfort with foreskin except when the head rubs with the clothes.
