You should never use a massage oil or any silicone based products as a lubricant even without a condom as it could cause vaginal irritation.
Hi all,
12 year old from Manchester England here, i found this page a month ago, read all of the comments and as i have had a lot of smelly smegma for over a year now. no amount of washing gets rid, in a short time it is back again (few hours).
i took onboard a mix of all the comments here and started to retract, someone suggested tight fitting speedos. this worked well it kept the skin retracted, at first i changed from the speedos to loose fitting PJ's at night but by morning the smell was back again. so took to sleeping in the speedos. and now after 3 weeks there is no smegma and no smell.
the sensitivity of the head is subsiding now, for the first week i was in the state of a permanent hardon. but the speedos normally do that to me. but after a month that has now subsided to just the morning wood situation!. in general having the skin retracted feels better and is quite obviously cleaner.
thank you all for putting this information out there

Hi Ian
Glad the posts have helped you resolve your issues.
Did you ever see your doctor about this?
There is a chance you had an yeast infection.
If the problem flares up again.
Maybe using an over the counter cream will help.
If you suspect a yeast infection, see your doctor. They’ll prescribe a medication to help clear the fungal infection.
Common options include:
fluconazole (Diflucan)
miconazole (Lotrimin AF)
clotrimazole (Lotrimin AF)
imidazole (Canesten)
Some of these medications are also available over the counter.

Don't worry about what is going to happen at 60, I guess when you are 60 your wife is not going to have sex with you. It's all ought to be self pleasure if you will. So go for it whatever you feel is right now....
Do you still get an erection at 94?
It's really interesting to note that even at 51 you had that much sensitivity, I was under the impression one loses it over age, sex and masturbation. When my dad was about that age I have seen that it used to be dry as if he was permanently retracted. But he was not. But his glans was also not super sensitive nor that lush pink in colour as an adolescent would have it. He used to be able to retract it without any effort at all even when erect. I used to envy that as I was too tight and could not retract my penis when erect. Later on right about the time I was going to get married I started leaving my skin retracted all the time and that is like 7 years ago. Now there are no issues leaving it retracted even when erect. I am 37 and skin has dried out yet have the sensitivity. Agreed I don't have the powerful explosive orgasms as when I was 14, but I still have pleasurable sessions with my wife. So I guess leaving it back always is not an issue ..
sounds like yeast to me. has a strong smell. anti yeast creams and chlorhexedine work well.
Can I have your penis picture
Hi I am too from Manchester, 3 years ago i started getting the smelly buildup of yellow cheesy stuff. i was washing 4 times a day in hope it would help. but it seemed the more i washed the worse the smell got. a visit to the doctor gave me some help. but he wanted to do a circumcision, which he said could be quite painfull. but he did share some information about retracting the foreskin. but he did say keeping it back was going to be a problem. at the time i did not wear underwear, he suggested tight fitting briefs or swimming trunks. he said the swimming trunks may give better support. and hold the skin in the retracted position. but he left the option open for me to have an operation.
after a week of trying i had managed to keep the skin rolled back the swim trunks helped, but like you i got a constant hardon for the first few days. but i found a daily swim in the lake (cold) helped calm that. but the smell had gone. a month on and the doctor saw me again and was pleased with progress.
that was all 3 years ago, now the skin stays back all of the time, OK there is the odd occasion i have to re-adjust. but all boys do that anyway?. i suppose what i am saying is that this method is a medically approved method, and i think it shold be discussed before a boy goes into high school. we had a simple medical before we went to high school 4 years ago but none of this was mentioned to us.
very informative forum
thanks

When i was young, my foreskin was able to retract but it hurt due to my frenulum who was tight. So i was taken to the doctor, frenulum was cut but no foreskin.
After everything was heeled, my dad came in the bathroom to check my penis. He noted that i should wash better behind the head, and he showed me how to do it. But it hurt as my glans was too sensitive.
He said that it is important to wash the penis well.So he suggested that i should leave the glans regulary exposed to make it less sensitive as he does it as well. Than it came to my mind that i indeed never saw him with his glans covered.
From then on, i wanted to make it look like my dad's as i liked the more adult look. There was some bunched skin but it stayed retracted pretty well. At the begin, it was hard to leave the glans exposed. I did it in stages. First naked at home then let my glans get used to my pants, walking and driving my bike. Now it is fully exposed for already 8 years.
Now i have no problem with cleaning, peeing, bad odor or hypersensitivity. I recently have a gf and i told her beforehand and she sayd she likes the glans to be exposed rather then covered, we both enjoy sex.
If i should have a son, and if he ever should have trouble with his penis, i would defnetly tell the same to him

Does foreskin shrinks ?
It's unlikely as skin rarely shrinks but your penis might not stretch it during its growth period if you keep your foreskin back while young enough depending on your age though though, also by keeping the foreskin back some have said it allows the glands to grow more freely meaning it holds the foreskin back better.
Very beautiful and exhaustive reply. Thanks
I've been permanently retracted since age 5 now 27 years old my Foreskin never rolls back just a cupple of day be for starting school my my mum pulled my freskin back because most the boys were circumcised so i fited in at school never rolld forward again
When i was 6 years old i was made to were my Uncut foreskin retracted all the time 24/7 by my mum she made me were it like it since the year 2000
because i have special needs disabilities my mum would help me in the bath she retracted my foreskin for me if it rold over the hed of the penis she retracted for me if needed it still got it retracted in 2020
