Ok, I've had the same white thick creamy discharge, but the only diferince with me is "I don't take birth control." I've also been tested for all the blah blah blah that u guys have, came back negative as well. It also worsens after sex with me. It's so irritating >:( . It also dries me out during sex, but flows right on back afterward. WTH is going on!?!?!?

I'm just curious....are you girls big water drinkers? I always thought this was possibly from not flushing my system with enough liquid.

I've had the same issues (thick creamy white discharge, no smell, bitter tasting, lack of lubrication) for YEARS now and nothing helps. I've done the peroxide tampon...with no real long lasting results. I've used pro-biotics, vitamins, diet change, I changed my soap (both bath and laundry), I've been tested for every STD under the sun and HIV, all negative. I've been treated as if it was BV or yeast but even after full treatment with creams and antibiotics it never fully goes away. It's really aggravating and embarassing. :-/ Recently I have started getting pelvic pain and other symptoms...and my doctor thinks that I have endometreosis. Although the endo wouldn't create a discharge, my doctor said that hormone imbalances can create discharge issues. I'm going in for surgery next month to diagnose/treat my endometreosis...and I'm going to have him take some discharge samples at that time and ask some additional questions. Keep your heads up, ladies. I've dealt with this stuff for almost 10 years, now...and if there are this many women having the exact same issue, our doctors won't be able to keep ignoring it and brushing it off as "normal" when it's obviously having a negative impact on our lives. If I find anything else out, I will let you all know.

OMG!!!! reading this just blows me away I have the same exact problems as all of you ladies! I was doing my normal research about my discharge which literally takes a toll on every aspect of my life and I found this! WTH is wrong with medicine today that doctors and gynos really dont know what is causing this... It might be "normal" and "healthy" to them.... But the fact of the matter is, is that its not normal... and for women who have this issue, it is not an easy thing to live with. I have been tested for every STD under the sun, I have no yeast, no BV..... I was positive that I was sufferring from chronic yeast infection, but that is not it... I am at my wits end w/ this. I first started to notice it when I became sexually active @ 15 and it would only appear randomly and never bother me, I am now 21 and a couple months after I turned 19, the random thick, white, discharge became a 24/7-365 thing for me. It improves when I am eating healthy, and less stressed like many of you also mentioned, and I also find that Tea Tree Oil on a q-tip dilluted w/ water is my best friend on my extra irritated days but I am just sooooo sick of this. I cant get wet anymore even when I am very "excited", If the rare occurrence happens when I do get wet, It doesnt stay wet for long at all.... It gets all over my bf's penis and testicles.. I can no longer receive oral sex :-( When I first noticed this ABNORMAL discharge it was verrrrry similar to lotion, over the years it has become less "creamy" and last month for the first time I noticed it in clumps... It used to get better after my period but during my last period it was there along with the blood!!! It is always worse before my period! I notice now though that when I am ovulating, is the only time that my vaginal discharge is clear rather than white, because i get that "egg white" discharge that is normal for ovulating women. Also as one woman mentioned sometimes it is not bothersome at all and sometimes especially at night it is soooooo irritating for my vulvar area.... Also, I used to have chronic UTI'S and tooooook countless antibiotics but that whole epidemic ended for me when i had my too short urethra, surgically elongated. but after all those antibiotics this discharge became worse for me, which had me sure this was yeast.. but its not! From age 15-20 I was off and on birth control pills of many different brands but for a little less than a year now I have been off the pill consistently thinking that this would maybe cure my problem, needless to say, it did not. I wonder if all our problems stem back to the BCP... makes you really wonder about putting hormones in your body...... Anyways, I am gonna end this post but I at least find a lot of comfort in knowing that I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE!!!! SOMEONE HELP US!!!!!

I am only 16, and i have this exact problem.
It's irritating to see that most of you's are in your mid-20's and are still suffering from this problem.
I really want to have it dealt with, but after seeing that you's have been to the doctors, and you still have no final cause to the problem, I don't think i'm going to get a positive result from the doctors either.
Every time I go to the toilet, or change my clothes, I always find a large amount of thick and sticky discharge in my underwear.
It's quite embarrassing whenever my boyfriend of two years takes off my underwear, or when I have to put them in the washing basket for mum to clean. It makes me extremely self conscious, which is something I really don't need to be dealing with at my age.
Whenever my underwear gets covered in this substance, it can sometimes be a yellow-ish colour, or a very thick white, like milk.
It also has a strong sour smell, which can be extremely embarrassing whenever i'm with my boyfriend. Before I go out anywhere, I make sure that i've washed my self, and cleaned up any of the mess, because if I don't, the smell becomes strong, and noticeable to others. According to my boyfriend, it tastes very sour, and smells almost like vinegar. This is always very embarrassing to hear, but luckily, I like to know other peoples opinions on any problems I have. The substance also comes out very thick, and chunky. At first i thought that maybe the discharge was just being caused by hormones and sexual excitement, but I have been dealing with this problem every day for the last three years. I have read many Internet discussions on this problem, and a lot of people have claimed that they get the same problem just before their periods arrives, but I have this problem every day..
I have the same problem with staying lubricated during sex as well. It is very annoying to have to tell my boyfriend that I have to finish because i am starting to dry up, as well as embarrassing. I am constantly finding my discharge all over the condoms, which isn't a pleasant sight when it is chunky and white. saliva can sometimes help me stay lubricated for a little while longer, but it still doesn't help. I don't allow my boyfriend to got down on me, as I am extremely self conscious of the smell and taste, and I can't enjoy being rubbed or fingered, as I dry out way too quickly. Foreplay is supposed to be the exciting and romantic part about sex, and I can't even enjoy it, let alone stay dry for most of it. I'm not going to over-exaggerate and say that it's ruining my relationship and my sex life, but I will say that I get very disappointed in myself, and feel as though i'm letting my boyfriend down.
I know that you's may be thinking that 16 is a little young to be up to that stage in life, but to be honest, I know 13 year olds that are having sex, and 14 year olds that are pregnant. I'm a very responsible and mature girl, and I'm sick of being called offensive names such as a "s***," even though I have been with my boyfriend for two years now.
This problem is really starting to irritate me, and it's making more self conscious than I need to be, so if there is anyone that can identify the problem to this embarrassing and extremely annoying issue, please let me know as soon as possible. x

I am now 21 but have had this problem foreeever. Since I was about 13. I know it is not caused from sex bc I was DEFINITELY not sexually active at 13. I have all the same symptoms as you guys. I have this discharge 24/7. It never goes away. It doesn't really have that bad of a smell. Its more thick, sometimes it is white and sometimes its yellowish. I have no itching or burning. Last year I went to the doctor too many times to count. I was constantly taking fluconizole and diflucan. The discharge never went away. I don't take birth control. I took that for barely a year when I was 19 and it did not help or make it worse. I had an exam and was tested for stds and I have none. I have only slept with one person and had this problem before I even lost my virginity. Recently I went to the doctor with a cold and thought I would go ahead and ask the doctor about my discharge..I thought he might have a better answer. He told me that discharge is "normal" and many women have this problem. He also said that this discharge is a way of my body telling me I need to have children. WHAT?!!! I said "so there is nothing I can do?" He said "unfortunately no"...this problem is so aggravating and so embarrassing that I don't even WANT to have sex. It's hard keeping a relationship when you don't have sex at 21 almost 22.

I'm also a pretty healthy person. I always drink water, that's all I drink unless I have a random craving for something else. So in earlier posts some people have suggested drinking more water...for MY situation, drinking water does nothing. :/ I also have TERRIBLE acne. I see a dermatologist for it and now I take medication to keep it under control. I'm wondering if this is causing my acne.

I'm so sick of this problem..and I can imagine that so are all of you :-(

I too have suffered from this for almost 7 years now, I am now 22, it is horrific to think I will be like this forever. At first I swore there had to be a cure and I constantly searched but nothing ever helped and of course all the gynos say the same, normal! I hate leaving the drs office with no answers and a clean bill of health because I feel there has to be some answer and treatment. Now I am not so sure if there is any help as I see many more sufferers without answers. it does Secretly consume your life since I donot share my problem with anyone but my bf of 8 yrs since he can obviously see it, this has been an every day issue for ther last 7 yrs or so, that's more than 2,555 days! Its like a reoccurring night mare. Srry that my reply doesn't give much hope but it is the honest truth, and I do still have hope that this will end one day, that would be the happiest day of my life! Well I wish you all and myself luck with this issue, we've come this far...and please share if anyone has any answers. :$

I am 31 years old. I have a similar thing happen but in less severe amounts than you all seem to. I am posting because I always thought it was yeast infections and got a prescription for Diflucan, but I have just gotton my first "real" yeast infection, and now know the difference. Previously I would just have sort of a chunky white disharge (and maybe it is some sort of yeast) but it was not itching like crazy and making my vagina irritated and raw like this "real" one has. I too have tried using RePhresh and the 3 or 4 times I have it always makes it happen even worse. I literally have to reach in and scoop out "cottage cheese" while in the shower and it takes a few days to go away. I noticed someone else had the same issue with RePhresh and I am wondering if maybe somehow the "normal" Ph that the product is supposed to make the vagina is wrong for us. Maybe we need a slightly different vaginal Ph than most women? I am currently on a non-estrogen birth control pill (progesterone only because I had a blood clot while I was pregnant and am not allowed to take regular birth control anymore) and have not noticed the problem in a while, but admittedly, my problem was mild compared to you ladies. Still it may be worth a try?? One warning though non-estrogen b/c pills work differently on your body. You still ovulate and it is possible for the egg to fertilize, it just makes the uterus inhospitable to implantation, so they are slightly less reliable, also for them to work properly you must take them very close to the same time each day. But talk to your doctors and maybe this will help you?

I've been dealing with this exact same issue since I was 21, and am now 25. Changed my diet, probiotics, yoga for stress...nothing seems to help. I have been off of birth control for 2 years and have seen no improvement. Though I'm disappointed that no one has found a solution/answer to this, it is a HUGE relief to see that others are dealing with the same thing.

like all of you I have been having the same problems. I am 24 and started using birth control almost 2 years ago. I used Nuvaring. My best friend has the same symptoms. Both of us talk about it all the time. Same discomfort, same embarrassment, same dryness. everything. been tested for everything. been on antibiotics for everything. never tried probiotics.

I really never had the problem before birth control. and I now I am off of it because i thought it was the cause. But its still here... louder and more obnoxious than ever.

I too dont understand how doctors don't know what the problem is. I've asked my gyno multiple times and he just gives me meds. I really think its birth control in general. Its the only thing I could think of...

Ugh. it just really is depressing to know how many women have the same problem and no one has an answer.

I posted this a while back. Since the post, I have had my surgery and am almost fully healed. My doctor found endo all over my abdominal region, including in the back of my vagina, my intestines, etc. Since my surgery, I have had NO DISCHARGE. I can lubricate again properly and sex is much more enjoyable. I was put off because my doc said endo wouldn't cause a discharge like that but it's completely gone away since I had the excess growths removed. Are any of you having bad pelvic pain in your back and/or abdomen, seemingly worst near your period? If so I would get checked for endo. The surgery to determine endo was kind of expensive, but it's well worth it. I feel a thousand times better since I had it done. I hope this helps some of you! If my symptoms come back again, I will be sure to update. ~L

All of you are so young, I'm 44 and have been suffering with these symptoms for what seems like my whole life. And not just the physical symptoms. My boyfriend accused me of sleeping with someone else when he discovered this nasty stuff on him in the middle of having sex, saying it was from another guy. Needless to say I hadn't been with anyone else, but he didn't believe me and asked then what the heck is it? Well I had no answers and said maybe something is wrong inside like an infection or something (knowing going to the doctor wasn't going to make any difference, because after having all the tests before, I don't know how many times, I always got the same answer) But still there I was off to the doctor again, well I came back with no answers. I felt like a real jerk. I said I had a yeast infection. Since then, I douche all the time (which doesn't always get it all out) I know they say not to douche and it messes up the natural balance in there, but its already messed up in there for me. I never used to douche and suffered the same a I suffer now. At least douching makes it better, even if its only for that short time, because that short time I'm embarrassed the most is during sex. It sure isn't full proof, I don't always have a chance to douche, I need to do it with in an hour or so of having sex or its like I never douched at all. So much for being spontaneous.

I had a partial hysterectomy a year ago for prolapse. Only my uterus was removed. I still complained to my doctor about the discharge after the surgery and he cauterized my cervix. That didn't help. Then my doctor told me to try Rephresh. Rephresh made my discharge more clumpy and thicker. I called the doctor again. I was given a clotrimazole cream, didn't work. I am going to try to use the Rephresh everyday. My thought (guess) is maybe the discharge becoming thicker, may mean it would go away completely if I used it everyday. Who knows. Has anyone having these same symptoms had a full hysterectomy and did it make these symptoms go away? I don't know why they would have left my cervix in, I never got a real answer for that, but maybe that's the root of all these problems. Unsolved Mystery
