I had the same after my Hysterectomy, its BV -bacterial vaginosis you'll know cause your vagina blows little bubbles you can feel, its an imbalance of the good/bad bacteria not so much an infection. You can buy pessaries that balance the acidity/alkaline in the vagina (expensive) but the main component is absorbic acid 500mg (vit C) so as I was told insert one 500mg tablet in at night for a few nights or every other night till you feel its better ..it works you smell better the next day and wear a thick liner cause you will get orange discharge ,,but I gotta tell you its so much nicer than smelling you feel fresher the next day, good luck I feel your pain ! :)

I had an ablation in October 2015. No infections, but i do have odor. It's driving me nuts. Besides the metro gel application another poster has recommended, are there other odor options?

I'm having the exact same issue and I'm pissed. No one seems to have gone through this and come out on the other side.. I wish someone would share if they've overcome this obvious side effect without having had a hysterectomy....

I'm having the same problem...I didn't relate it to my ablation until I googled it.

So many women are now plagued with this disgusting ODOR following this procedure. I'm convinced by doctor knew about this issue and did not make it completely clear that this issue will effect your sex life and general overall interactions with peers and colleagues. Your lady parts stinks!!

I had the novasure procedure 3 months ago. Terrible odor for the last month with watery discharge. Just found this when I googled vinegar douche. Haven't tried it yet, but going to. Anything to get rid of this odor.

Apple Cider Vinegar is the ONLY thing that has consistently worked for me. There are a lot of factors to take into consideration as to why you might have vaginal odor, but if it is due to the most common cause (Bacterial Vaginosis), then all you have to do is either douche with a diluted solution of water + apple cider vinegar OR soak a tampon in apple cider vinegar and insert into the vagina for 30 minutes to 1 hour.

(Note: I know a lot of people are against douching these days because they say it destroys the good bacteria in the vagina and throws off the pH balance, and that is true of commercial douches which contain a lot of chemicals and fragrances. But a pure douche of water and apple cider vinegar is perfectly safe. Apple cider vinegar has a very similar pH that a healthy vagina and intestinal tract has, so instead of destroying that good bacteria, it just destroys the bad and replenishes the good.)

Also - the purest and most organic form of apple cider vinegar you can get is best, but if all you can find is the typical grocery store brand, that is fine too. Just make sure you don't use WHITE vinegar - only Apple Cider.
