Thank you for posting this. I'm over 2 weeks and still having the discharge. Kinda had me worried
so when did the discharge stop???? I am a little over 2 weeks and its more now than last week.
I had novasure three days ago. Woke up from surgery somewhat cramps but nurse gave me meds quickly and it was under control. Only felt cramps for about six hours after surgery, which was weird. I thought I'd be cramps longer. The next two days I felt out of it, probably from anesthetic. Having very light pink discharge. feeling a heaviness in my uterus. But overall, can't believe how easy it was.
I had the novasure 10 days ago and having this nasty brown discharge. The procedure was horrible, felt it all and cried the entire time (90 seconds is a long time when you feel the burning). I guess they didn't give me enough pain medicine before the procedure. It was horrible. Now I am plagued by this nasty brown discharge. Would I do it again.. Right now I say Hell NO.. Maybe in a few months I will change my mind if my periods have stopped. But, man I was totally blind-sided by the pain of this procedure
I had the Novasure and tubal litigation done 2/16. I had discharge for the first couple weeks then started bleeding. The smell is horrible when I bleed heavy. The dr said that the bleeding can last up to 4-6 weeks which he said is normal. I know I have been very moody and no patience for my children. I am hoping the bleeding will stop very soon. I keep saying how can a person bleed this much and still be alive. But overall, I am pleased with the procedure.
This is by far the most informative post. I had this exact situation six days ago. Now I know what and why to expect. Thank you for writing your post.
I didn't see any replies to your question, and I was hoping perhaps there were some I might have missed. I had translation two weeks ago, and am having the same mood problems you describe, despite assurances the procedure had no hormonal after effects. I'd like to know how you coped with the mood changes and how you are doing now.
