Why are big areolas considered unattractive?

I am not sure about your insecurity; but from my prospective, this portion of the female anatomy is what accentuates a woman's beauty, and are highly desirable. Be proud of what you have; because the man that you get with will certainly enjoy them.

It's sad to read what you have written about your areolas(that you would wear a bra during sex), and you are so wrong.  Many men  find large areolas very atrractive.  Don't let what you read at some forum define your beauty.  My wife, a beautiful, exotic woman from the Philippines, has dd breasts with very large, dark areolas,  and long, thick nipples.  I go to bed with my dream girl every night.   That's the whole point--what one person finds a turn on is a turn off for another person, and you can't be all things to all people.  You know, to each his or her own.  There are many, many web sites and forums devoted to the beauty of women with large areolas.  I find women with small nipples and small areolas unattractive, but that's just me.  And something else, the women I've had experience with who had large areolas have been much more sensual beings than the women I've known with small nipples and areolas.  Small nipppled women do not like their breasts played with half as much as women with large areolas and large nipples.  I think this is because women with large areolas and nipples have the nerve endings in the areola and nipple more spread out, whereas the women with small nipples and small areolas have the nerve endings  too concentrated in a small area, so that when their nipples are played with or sucked on, the sensation is too intense to be pleasurable.  Enjoy the gorgeous endowment you have been given, and realize that breasts like yours are what many, many men dream about.  And don't let some hack plastic surgeon ruin your natural beauty.

You are very wrong on that, 2 inch areolas are perfect!! Large areolas with big nipples are the sexiest thing ever. You sound perfect, anyone that wants a little boob with tiny areolas must be gay.

Turtlemomma, that fact that you hated your nipples, would also mean you hid them from view at all costs. Which is why you never found a guy who liked what you have. You probably weren't attracted to guys that were "boob" guys. We men come in all types. Ones who like the little girly look with no breasts tiny nips, no areola at all (This is creepy to me personally), ones who like Pink nips areola's, and guys like me who love big breasts, thumb sized nips and large darker areola's. Everyone is different. You just have to be open minded. if someone loves you, they love YOU. Your Boobs are just a bonus for them if they are the kind that guy likes.

Some guys don't care at all about your boobs, because their Ass men, or leg men, or get off on feet, or what ever. We're all different. So never change what you were lucky enough to be given. Endorse it, flaunt it a bit if you like.. We MEN will notice you..and the ones who like what they see, may introduce themselves to you..

I find it hard to believe you would come to the conclusion large areola are unattractive.  All you need to do is look around at the women men find attractive and you will see what I mean.  Of course there are all kinds of preferences but I would bet if the average man could choose, it would a full breasted woman with every prominant areola and nipples.  So I would strongly recommend against any kind of surgery but rather find a man that loves the way you are and how you look.  At applies to you personality as well as your body.  Better to find the man that is looking someone just like you and then all you have to be is yourself to make both of you happy.

On a personal note if I was your partner you would have a very difficult time keeping that bra in place not just during sex but during the playful times as well.  It would not take long for you to be assured bigger is better in that area as far as I am concerned.  Take pride in how you look because there are a lot women that would do anything for what you have and even more men that would be thrilled to be your partner.

Look, I don't know why you would think that men, or women, find wide areolas are unattractive. I am a fit, red-blooded, 34 year old male in Virginia, and i find them to be beautiful and sexy in their "abnormality", and I'm sure I'm not the only one. I, as a healthy male, find breasts, especially nipples, of all shapes and sizes and colors, to be very attractive. ESPECIALLY different nipples and areolas. I personally like large areolas, and "abnormal" nipples, because perfection is found in imperfection. I know I'm a faceless, nameless stranger, but please don't have a surgery based on someone else's hang-ups and issues. I am sure your breasts, nipples, and areolas are going to be the most sexy thing the right man for you has ever seen. If any man, or woman, can't except your, or anyones, body for the beautiful thing it is, then your virginity, and consequent sex life, is not something you should share with them. Those that cannot appresiate beauty should not possess it....

Well, I don't know about other guys, but huge areolas REALLY turn me on.
