abdominal bloating 9 months after tummy tuck

Question

I weigh 100 lbs., 5' tall. Never have weight fluctuation. One month after tt with muscle repair began lump in throat feeling diagnosed as laryngopharyngeal reflux, hiatal hernia and mild GERD. Also, abdominal distention that is mild upon waking, worsening throughout the day to become VERY uncomfortable, and even painful at times. Hard symmetrical lump around new bellybutton area. Incidentally, had 2 weeks of antibiotics at time of surgery due to bladder infection--resulted in yeast in mouth, treated with Nystatin. Lump in throat feeling started a few weeks after white yeast went away. This is EVERY day. Tried fasting all but herbal tea for a day. No difference. Tried 2-week vegan diet, no difference. On probiotics for 2 weeks. Just had bloodwork for celiac, IBD and H.Pylori--awaiting results. CT with/without contrast in two weeks. Plastic surgeon refused to believe there's connection between the tt and these symptoms, though I've had NONE of these symptoms before surgery (except slight reflux many years ago). Please give me some hope that I don't have to live with this forever. I'm so sorry I had the surgery.

Omg I’m only seeing this now because I googled about it I’m 3years after tt I’m putting up with the very same just out of hospital for Crohn’s disease they told me iv GERD and a hernia if I eat at night I often get sick in my sleep and constant bloating it makes my life hell

Try icing it. Heating pad. Drinks lots of water and walk bcuz you may be constipated and that causes a lot of bloating or discomfort. I’m 9 months post op.. I still wear my abdominal binder when I get discomfort and I also have numbness.. seems to be better after rest, heating pad and wearing binder.

I had issues with bloating and pain before abdominoplasty but it got 10x worse after surgery last week and additionally I now have GERD and burping immediately upon eating or drinking even water. The paint is so bad it radiates through my entire torso and even up to my neck. I can only sleep in fitful spurts and the pain is not relieved with sitting or standing as it used to be. Praying this will go away once things are healed!
