HI. I KNOW YOU POSTED THIS OVER A YEAR AGO, BUT YOUR SITUATION SOUNDS LIKE ME RIGHT NOW
Doc says all is fine, but the pain is unbearable at times.
The way you describe your back pain is very similar to my pain both before and after my gallbladder removal. How are you going now? Are you still getting the same back pains?
Regards,
Mark
Hi All. Mine so far is just the opposite. Since 2007 I haven't been able to sleep through one night unless I self medicated on voltaren, painkillers and sleeping pills to get me through the night. I went to various Drs wanting to know why it was so painful to sleep in my back. I went for MRI scans, got resotomys done to no avail then deep tissue massage, needling and sessions with chiropractor. Nothing helped. I tried to live with it... Made me moody due to constant pain and lack of sleep. Strange thing was if I walked around at 2am in the morning pain would subside. No here's the strangest. I suffer from bee stings but nothing else much. during November 2018 I really started feeling ill. Pain in back, right shoulder and to the Centre upper rib cage. I moved office and face swelled to double the side. Celestine brought swelling down. 4 days later my lips and face swelled even more and that night after getting jabs for anafalaxis I had a stroke. I promised I would see the dr the next day but couldn't get an appointment. 2 days later another fit? My husband took me to another dr who immediately admitted me to icu. Various MRI, spinal taps, exrays and brain waves were done. They found that there was a gall stone 3 cm long and almost 3 cm wide obstructing my gallbladder for almost 10 years.. And gradually getting bigger, turning my GB septic and in turn causing yellow jaundice to set into liver. The GB now removed on 3 December 2018 part liver cut off and eventually home recuperating. Although op was extremely painful the stone I used to sleep on is gone and so is my back pain. I havent felt this good and clear headed in 10 years. Little time has passed and your stories have made me afraid. All I can do is keep you updated. Dr Ranchod and Surgen DrSofianos that treated me at Bedford Gardens Hospital were excellent!!! I owe my pain free life to them. Regards Lydia
