I've had these bumps for about 5 years. I will get them on the insides of my thighs and labia. I always have one and when that one's gone i seem to have another one starting. I use to pop them, but they've left awful purplish scars. When i was getting dressed I saw blood dripping down my leg from the most painful bump i've ever had, it was like the size of two. it just popped by itself and it wouldnt stop bleeding for about ten minuets. i've never seen so much blood come out of one of these. i was a little scared that maybe it was close to a vein or something.

Alot of people said they are over weight and yes at the moment i am, but these started when i was a lot thinner. i never got my period regularly and i have poly cystic ovaries. i always thought it was something to do with that. but lately after gaining weight these bumps show up on my jaw line. they arnt as blood filled but they still hurt really bad.

I'm glad to know i'm not the only one, but it sucks we have to live with this.

I too have this problem and it's honestly the most embarrassing thing my boyfriend always tells me to go to the doctor but I figure that it'll go away. I have two at the moment. I just popped the older one and the blood at first was really dark then it became lighter. I also saw another one that I tried to pop but the more I squeezed it the bigger it became. It literally looks like there's a marble under my skin. I wish I never got these. It hurts whenever my pants blurb up against like when I walk or anything. Sleeping isn't very fun for me either since it hurts no matter what!! But again I'm so glad I'm not the only one lol :)

Ya i am 19 now and have been getting them for years. It is terribly embarrassing and I almost always have them. They are in my armpits and between my thighs. It is so bad between my thighs that I actually have scarring from it..

Wow, I'm glad I'm not the only one. I get them on the inside of my legs, they sometimes turn black in color, and when I pop them it's just a deep dark blood red pus. But i recently got one ony waist where my belt rubs and I barely squeezed it and it poured out now there is a little hole in my skin. What the heck are they.? Are they like a staph infections or what.?

ew. okay. me too. it started with 1 or 2 at a time, but about three years ago it got much much worse. I tried accutane and they were still there. then i switched meds and got off lithium and they stopped coming as frequently, realizing that starting lithium was when they got out of control. my doctor said the lithium usually causes facial or back acne but it's not impossible that it was making it worse. i have some really bad dark scars and pitting and some nasty skin flap from one doctor who lanced one pretty badly...considering plastic surgery and wishing i could punch the dermatologist who told me i should just wear a cute old fashioned bathing suit (as if I hadn't been doing that for the past five years while trying to figure out what the heck was wrong). also, lost some weight but not enough my legs don't rub together...i'm just glad it's not as bad as when i was on lithium and i think the accutane may have helped after all...

I also have 2 bumps one bigger than the other on my inner thigh and bar added to talk to my parents or doctor about them. I am 16 and don't know what it could be from. I've seen from other people it could be from activities of sorts like running and I have baseball about everyday. I need to know what these bumps are so I can stop worrying about them.

If you are overweight, like me, and you have these bumps and they get worse with walking/running, mainly during warm climates, the only way to make this go away is to bear through the pain until you loose weight, then your thighs will no longer rub together causing the bumps.  If you have these bumps and you are not overweight, you need to go to the doctor.

So I'm not sure if I have the exact same thing as everyone else. Maybe a couple days ago my inner thigh started to itch, it seemed like a bug bite at first. It appeared like a bug bite. But then it looked like a little mole raised above the skin, but it still itched. The next day I decided to pull it, it was so fragile between my fingers that bright red blood was squeezed out. But where I pulled it from on my inner thigh was not bleeding. Nor hurting. And the bump still remains but its small and similar to some type of bug bite, and it still itches. Did anyone else experience itching? or only pain? I've never had this before. If it wasn't for the mole-like thing i pulled from my thigh then I would just assume it was a bug bite.

YES! i have the same thing on my right inner thigh! its disgusting, excpet mine keeps filling up with blood, its definately gotten smaller than it was but man before it was like a bouncy ball inside my leg! it was so weird! well anyway i did some researching after one morning when the blood was a dark dark brown red BLECH! and i found out that they are cysts. i have had a cyst on my tailbone before but that went away with some herbal treatment, this wont seem to go away. :/ well its caused by too much sugar and aspartame (fake sugar). my mom hated me for this because she's huge into the "no gum or pop or energy drinks or anything with high fructose corn syrup in it etc.." and aspartame is in all those things so obviously when i told her what this bump is from she was upset because that meant i had been chewing gum and drinking energy drinks behind her back. :/ but yep thats what it is. its huge, gross, and painful. i just wanna get rid of it!

Yesterday I wore a skirt and I got up I seen nothing but a pool of blood on the floor. OMG! I thought I was on my period but I wasen't this bump poped on it's own. So weird!!Once it pop i felt so much better!!

I weigh 160 I gotten fat I never weigh this much!! I'm going to try to work out and lose weight and see if I would get these bump again. Keep you guys up dated in a couple of months.

I have this right now and I tried popping it because that is what I do everytime I get them but this time the spot appeared underneath a mole I had on my thigh and it won't pop it just oozes out a little bit of of some light red sticky substance and then grows straight back to it's original size in like 30 seconds and it is really painful and tender and it hurts to try pop it
