Same here, i have it at the moment, having my ex :/ come over and pop it later. He’s the only one I’m 100% comfy with about this. Plus he popped the first one i got a few months ago. The first time i got it i didn’t know why it appeared but it was in my pelvic area. It hurt then too because it was in my pant area and it would put pressure on it. Finally I told my ex to just pop it…and it was so painful I cried, but the next day it hurt less and less till it went away. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

I am over weight so i decided to go to the gym, the last time I went was last week, i was running and my inner thigh started to hurt. I thought it was just a rub burn and "oh it will go away" but no it has become a mushy ball of puss and blood. And it hurts like hell!!! I can’t walk or sit! >.< but it sound to me like I just need to lose some pounds, but the thing is when I was skinny and fit I always had big thighs and they always rubbed against each other… but I am glad I’m not the only one with this. Suck!

I can't give advice but i say don't be embarrassed that’s what the doctors are for to help us out. So if it comes back again or doesn’t go away I’m going to the doctors. Screw the fear I want to walk and not cringe with pain every step. so good luck to all!

haha, another silly little anon guest.

i had one on my left knee, believe it or not. that was ODD. i thought i was growing a third.. um.. thing. (i don't like the words that can be used in the reference).

that was a couple months ago. and now i do have one in mu inner thigh, right below a rash that i have from sweating. i think it is anyway. haven't had it checked. but um.. i wear briefs (i'm a guy, i know it's odd to wear briefs. cry about it). i sweat pretty easily, and thrive in lower temperatures, for some odd reason. so..

anyway.. um, rash by my private area, and the boil beneath it. makes sense, though, because for about the last 3 hours before i noticed it was there, my skin had been rubbing there ALOT. readjusting in a warm warm seat.

I too have hydroadenitus supertiva and although there is no cure there are preventative habits and surgeries. I have already had my first surgery in an area where I got them really bad. The surgeon removed the glands in that area. I haven't gotten any there since the surgery a year ago. And I get them bad and often. I usually will have one at all times in a random new spot though. The doctor said I would have to have multiple surgeries to remove all of the glands in my groin. But I highly recommend the surgery to relieve pain for those with chronic problems. Unfortunately the major down side is the healing process and the hideous scarring. But if you are someone who got them badly, you should be pretty used to ugly scarring down there.

Aside from the surgery I have been able to keep them under control by eating healthy. I ran a marathon last year and during my train I was on a strict diet. No alcohol, beef or pork. I did not get one boil the entire time! 6 months free. After training I went back to eating like a pig. And bam! They came back. There has to be a connection there.

Seems nobody is really posting solutions. This is what worked for me. I am 6'4 about 340 and have lost 30 lbs or so recently due to exercise with the bowflex xtreme, diet with whey isolate protein, nutrient supplements like opti-men, garlic pills, amazing grass green superfood, futurebiotics pressur-lo, cardio-jouvenate (recently replaced with Pro-Nitric N.O. supplement which works better), pure hawthorn extract, liquid oxygen etc etc. This issue being discussed has been a problem with me since I became overwieght, but I suspect that is not the only cause. What has worked for me nearly 100 percent is the following. I tried dozens of solutions, none of which worked. I used the exfoliating wipes about once per hour to ensure skin/pore cleanliness. I also use Lemon Grass with tea tree and orange peel soap in conjunction with pure lava soap which seems to help. I hope this info helps somebody to beat this issue and better their life :)

Hi, since no one is posting follow-ups I thought I'd be one of the first. Bump started growing in front of my ear, right beside the tragus (google it). I thought it may have been an enlarged lymph node, but I never saw a doctor. I watched it for a few days, listened to google advice that it's probably no big deal... eventually it stopped getting bigger (and soarer) but it was definitely a noticeable bruised lump on my face at its biggest. Well I was letting it go hoping it would resolve itself, when in the middle of the night I happened to wake up and noticed fluid on my finger; knew immediately that my lump had sprung a leak. At that time, in the middle of the night, I squeezed out the most vile bloody liquid I'd ever seen come from my body. I squeezed and squeezed until the putridness stopped gushing forth... and now it's still a bump on my face, but it's smaller and a little darker. I have a feeling it will drain more; I'll try after work. It's awful, and there's probably going to be a wound on my face for a little while. The bump was some kind of bloody abscess, and nothing I've ever had before. I'm 33 years old and have not been sick lately, nor do I get sick more than once a year, if that. Hope this helps somebody, not to say your thing is the same as my thing. I still don't know the rhyme or reason to it. http://www.webmd.com/a-to-z-guides/abcess

Ive read all the above posts, and it sounds like something I have.

The thing is, I have it ( this is so embarrassing) right next to my a-hole which makes it really irritating to sit down because it itches all the time. It has been there for about a week maybe and it is getting larger. Should I pop it or wait for it to pop itself? Ive had one on the same place before but it has never been this big.

Help me out!

I used to get them all the time. My doctor here in the States suggested covering my inner thigh with Povidone Iodine 10% right after a shower and let dry and leave it till my shower the following day and repeat until it heals up.

This has worked incredibly well.

Ok so I've had these for a year now, and I just got a really bad one that popped and I got scared when it was bleeding (bbecause I had never popped them before) I was terrified I had some sort of disease, thank you for easing my fears (: now I will lose the 20 pounds I am over weight so I don't need to deal with it!

I get them too and I am so glad that I looked this up and at least I know I am not a gross freak or something. Mine get quite big and they also bleed when popped but sometimes there is also puss in them. When I get one that is not ready to be lanced I put a bandaid on it and it makes it much easier to walk and a lot less tender. I will take the band aid off at night, wipe it with some peroxide and then put some antibiotic ointment (polysporin) on it. After a few days when it is ready to pop I use a disinfected needle and lance it from the side, and put the needle almost all the way in. I leave it for a few seconds and then give it a little sqeeze and GUSH all the yucky stuff comes out. You may need to cover it again for a day or so and then lance it again and then it should go away. I know it sounds like quite the ordeal but it works. Hope this helps. Oh and also don't just squeeze them to pop them, do the method with the needle because you can cause scarring by squeezing them and also more pain and inflamation.:-(
