I the very same op,and going through the same pain, and bloating,i did a pelvic ultra sound too, thats to rule out any other new cysts,
and early menapause. I also have put on weight and cant get it off no matter how hard i train or eat well.
if i knew all this i would too would of put up with heavy bleeding.
i feel your pain. i just hope there is a solution for both of us and anyone else who is suffering.
unless you cant carry any more it will cause menopause. night sweats? no sleep at night?, mood swings!
i weigh 25 pounds heavier now! so not sexy!
I had a tubal ligation in 2002, after having a C-section, shortly thereafter I was told I had PCOS, and Endometriosis. My periods were so heavy I would soak through a super plus tampon, and a thick pad in 20 minutes. I had severe cramps that had me cringed over in pain, I'd have to miss work due to the heavy bleeding, I finally had an ablation in 2009....I didn't have a period for almost the first year....but then they returned. Sometimes every 28 days like normal, or I go months without a period, then I'll have it a month or more like normal, then nothing....I've been going through this since. Although the bleeding is normal now and not heavy and lasts about 4 to 5 days..I do still have the bad cramps, the first 2 days are the worst. I can't eat, I feel as if um going to throw up, and just sick....BUT it's more handleable now....best decision I've made...
Are you asking a question, or saying something?
I just had the same thing done 2 weeks ago still sure but I'm good.
I just had an endometrial ablation & tubal ligation today 21st sept 2015 im feeling sore and tired ,definitely taking drugs to control pain.. any advice on what should i expect in the follwing weeks or months.?
I had D&C, Ablation & Tubal over a week ago on Thursday. I didn't have much bleeding at all. Friday very light to none. Saturday none. Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat & Today - I have been bleeding like on my period!! Cramping, pain and bloating like never before. Sooo sore, none of my pants fit. I feel miserable. The pain in my ovary areas are so sharp sometimes. I have missed pain pills just to see if how I am doing; to see if the pain is gone, and it's NOT. I'm so tired and feal so weak. I hope this is normal and I (along with all of the other ladies going through this... get well soon).
Hi. I had all three procedures done on the 15th of Jan (2016). Surgery was on a Friday. I went to work the following Wednesday and Thursday. A snowstorm Thursday evening gave me an additional 5 days of rest. However, when I went to work this past Thursday I was in excruciating pain between my navel and bottom of stomach. I have been having this pain constantly for the past 3 days. Has anyone else experienced this? Pain meds help, but they also put me to sleep so I can't take them while at work.
I got this done in Aug. 2015. I have had serious pelvis pain, went to ER-it was cysts. Went to my doc and he says this is normal. The egg got embedded in my ovaries, makes a cyst and then pop. Are you serious? I am hurting again. Is this normal?
Can you provide us with an update?
Yes in 2009 had both at the same time. Have been to the emergency room 2x with horrible pain on my left side. Two doctors later I am going to get an ultra sound this week because this Dr says the clips they used for my tubal ligation are wrong and shes concerned. My flow is heavier now than ever and I guess I am one of the 10% of people whom the ablation did not work.
I had an d&c, endometrial ablation, and laparoscopic bilateral salpingectomy 10 days ago, and I am just starting to feel somewhat decent. I was under general anesthesia, which made me sick. Anytime I tried to eat afterwards, I threw up. My typically have a high pain tolerance and don't fill prescriptions for painkillers because I don't use them; however, this time was an exception. I had severe cramping and bloating. The Vicodin made me extremely constipated. My throat was raspy and hoarse for several days. One incision has still yet to fully close, and my abdomen is bruised out the wazoo. I've had very light bleeding for two days, followed by a few days of light pink discharge, and now clear discharge. Though I am feeling better, I am still very tired and have been sleeping a lot more than normal and taking naps throughout the day. Would I do it again? Absolutely! Though I'm not certain if my periods will completely stop, so far so good. The pain, etc. is worth it if my periods stop or at least last a few days rather than for 3 weeks! Oh and I forgot to mention that the gas from the surgery takes awhile to completely leave your body and causes extreme pain and discomfort, especially in your shoulders.
I had both a uterine ablation and tubal removal via laporoscopy yesterday and am feeling pretty good 30 hrs post surgery. My biggest issue was recovering from the anesthesia. I was able to stop taking pain meds last night. Over all recovering well. Now just need to see if my 3 week periods stop or are significantly shortened.
Hello! I'm thinking about having these two procedures done at the same time. I forgot to ask the Dr but do they put you under general anesthesia or are you awake during?
Thanks!
