From lots of research, I've realised that my golf sized gallstone 6 years ago at 39yo came from an inbalance in hormones: too low progesterone compared to estrogen. It sounds like you may be similar: progesterone and vitamin d act synergistically hence your low vitamin d and arthritis and weight gain and slow metabolism are all symptoms of estrogen dominance. It is correctable: I use a bioidentical progesterone cream at least 100mg per day cycled, however curcumin, or panax ginseng may also help... Zinc levels and selenium are also important, so check them out too.

Hi There,
How have you been with the waiting? I too have been told that I have stones, but not sure how big or how many. I only have attacks when I am eating bad food, so I have stayed away from bad food. I can feel a discomfort, but it is not unbearable. I am wondering if I should wait it out.

I had my gall bladder taken out 15 yrs ago. 3 in the morning horrible pain, rush to emergency room, next morning removed gall bladder due to hundreds of little gall stones. Assured no more problems. Developed nausea, diarrhea, and severe stomach cramps shortly and nothing I could do helped much. Quality of life was bad. Barely able to function at times. 15 yrs later a Chiropractor evaluated my symptoms and put me on an supplement called Cholacol by Standard Process. I get it at People's Pharmacy. If my routine changes and later in the day I start hving severe stomach cramps and nausea, I check and sure enough I forgot to take my 2 pills that morning. I cannot be without this. It is a lifesaver fr me. But I hv no idea if it will help anyone else. It assists with bile. Good luck in finding an answer that works fr you.

Well this has been a rather interesting read. I had my gallbladder removed about 18 years ago. I started having symptoms half way through my first pregnancy. I had to wait until after I delivered before they could really do anything. Over all I thought I wasn't having too many issues since having it removed. Just the occasional discomfort if I eat something too fatty. But... now I am beginning to wonder. I have acid re-flux quite often, I am always rather fatigued, achy joints, cannot eat spicy food at all and even coffee upsets my stomach. Who knows what else is linked to it!

Today in my random reading I can across a supplement people have been taking post gallbladder removal... its a Super Enzyme. People mentioned how much better they are feeling after taking it and the quality of their life has changed. So of course I had to go find it!

I had my gall bladder removed in 2008. I have been getting occasional pains around that area and belly button region. I recently had blood tests done that show elevated liver enzymes. I have also been having a lot of abdonem fat issues.

the human body is not designed to function with out the gallbladder. yes there are side effects that the medical profession knows about. but what about the side effects the medical profession does not about? from my observation, there seems to be advanced aging in gallbladder removal. removal of this organ will effect other organs in the body, advancing aging.

The gallbladder holds bile in a its pouch. Without a bile pouch there is just the small amount of bile leaking from your liver that happens all the time to digest and help absorb. ..espically fat. If you eat low fat you will use the loo less, or you could try digestive enzymes when you eat.
