you're disapointed for not being pregnant at 18??????? Girl you better live a little first. a child will change you entire world. WHAT ON EARTH!
Thank god I'm not alone! Reading these make me feel so relieved.. I'm 18, not sexually active (so there is no way that I'm pregnant) and I had my last period December 16th, 2012. My periods have always been, for the most part, regular. I received my 1st Gardasil shot shortly before my next period was expected to come (Around January 16th-18th) and it never came. It is now February 26th and still no sign of my period. I am extremely worried because I have been reading articles saying that the Gardasil shot causes infertility, and I would be crushed if I found out that I could not have children in the future because of something that my doctor recommended me get. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE REPLY TO THIS AND LET ME KNOW HOW LONG IT IS BEFORE YOU GET YOUR NEXT PERIOD THANK YOU!!!!
Hi Girls. I too had the Gardasil shot and have been experiencing issues since. I am 25, and had my first and only Gardasil shot on April 8th, 2013. I was due for my period on March 26, and I am never, ever more than 2 days late. Today was day 13 of being late and I finally started my period this afternoon. I went to see my OB/GYN this morning, and mentioned to her I was VERY late for my period, but had read by many other girls that they also had late periods after receiving the shot. I'm not exaggerating at all when I say that as soon as my questioning about Gardasil came out, her entire demeanor with me changed. I was given a quick "No, absolutely not" and that was all my doctor would say to me about the matter. I was a quite turned off by her answer but didn't press the matter anymore. I gave a urine sample for them to do a pregnancy test, and that as well as the at home test I took two nights ago were both negative. For those also looking for symptoms, for myself I've been experiencing the following since I recieved the shot. I did not notice any symptoms until about 2 weeks ago (it's been over 4 since my shot): Late period, mild to severe cramping EVERYDAY since my period was due (so bad in fact that most days I would go to the bathroom, expecting to find my period had started), very light pink spotting 2 days after my period was due but only lasted maybe an hour, extreme fatigue, nausea one night when I was extremely fatigued, possibly fever two nights this week, and very sore arm muscles (feel sore and achy to move both).
I know these doctors are pushed and pushed by different groups to say what they are told to about certain drugs/vaccines, Gardasil included, but how can they morally stand by this drug thats obviously causing quite a bit of harm?! Needless to say I'm canceling my last two shot appointments and will not be receiving them. I wish I had done more research before I agreed to this shot! More research needs to be done by the FDA for this vaccine! The bad certainly is out weighing the good! Right now my plan is to try to detox my body to get the bad chemicals in this drug out of my body as much as possible. I plan to try a hot espom-salt bath to try to draw out the toxins. Hoping and praying there's not more symptoms from this in the future, if there are, I will be sure to repost!
My bad girls, I meant my period was due April 26, not March 26 (above). ;-)
