hey :-) im also 14 and im in the process of losing weight. this is actually my 1st year of highschool and i get really embarrassed when people stare at me. i was 220 lbs but know im 201! i started drinking chocolate slim fast and me and my dad went walking everyday. its more fun when you go with someone and if not go with an ipod or cd player, makes it less boring. also when im craving something like chocolate, i drink a cup of water because cravings only last for about 15 minutes so dont cave into them!! try to bake chicken and meats instead of fry them! stay away from junk like candy and snacks and stay away from fast food! once in a while reward yourself with 1 slice of pizza but make it like once ever 2 weeks or so. WATER WATER WATER! water has no calories like juice or water and sometimes your stomach will mistake hunger for thirst. so when you feel hungry try drinking water and see how you feel afterwards. i hope this helps and i wish you all good luck with your weight lose! you all have my support!! if you wanna be my friend and get some advice add me on myspace. my email is _[removed]_m. :-D

HI, IM 14 AND I REALLY WANT TO LOOSE SOME WIEGHT WELL ALOT OF WEIGHT,because my friends always tease me about my weight n it really hurts and so does my lil sister,and i hate that so i wanna show them that i can be skinny and that im not ugly,so can some body please please please help i cant stay on a diet and i can excersize cause its really hard i can barely run like i used to and it really kills me, it also embarrassing to wear a bathing suit with out worrying about someone judging you, and i just want to loose some weight so can somebody please help...................thanks...:O]

hello, i am 14 to and i found that swimming really helps lose weight. i used to just swim in the summer, but i did swimteam all winter and i went from 129 to 121. i know thats not a lot, but once you get down around there your body finds its comfort zone and it wont move. my bodys comfort zone is 119-121 i havent left there in 2 months. swimming is really great exercise and building muscle means you burn more calories and your metabolism gets better. i realise that a good diet is importand but starving yourself isnt healthy, exercising is the best way i think. remember: eat to live, dont live to eat. also go with whoever buys groceies every week and dont pick up junk food, pick up more fruit and veg, less carbs and junk food. i hope my advice helped!

hey. im fourteen as well. i want to lose maybe five to seven pounds. my goal is one to two pounds a week. i weigh 115 and i am five nine. so this is a pretty good goal. some advice for those who consider themselves obese or just fat and you don't like running you have too ignore that fact. running or maybe swimming are both great things to get you in shape. ive only been eating about 1500 calories and i swim. i hope this helps.

im 14 and weigh 135, im 5 foot, 8 inches and i feel so fat next to my boyfriend so i want to shed 15 maaaaaybe 20 pounds. hes my height and weights the same but is very muscular, and its 15 years old. i considered water fasting to get rid of all the bad toxins in the "rear end" and i still want to but i dont want my mom and friends from school to worry so i havent started yet. also i was going to eat alot less and smaller portions but if i do the next day ill stuff my face and have a horrible feeling in my stomach and feel like throwing up. if you have any ideas or your goal is similar. all your help is appreciated :-))

I as well am 14 and I am in the process of losing weight for my highschool's waterpolo team. I say that you all should eat healthy and of course work-out. Do not hate yourselves when you only lose one pound every week or something like that because you will just give up on the diet your on and never solve your problem of being bigger. STICK TO IT. Even if you just lose 2 pounds be happy you lost weight at all.!! Be SATISFIED and keep on the diet!!! Do NOT give up.! As time passes by you will soon discover that you have lost 20 pounds in a snap. Do NOT check your weight EVERY few seconds or 3 days.Checking evry few seconds won't help you because you'll just be unsatisfied that you havn't lost the amount you want yet and will just give up on dieting. Check your weight at least once every two weeks. So come on guys don't give up and just keep working hard. =D

I'm 14, and I JUST weighed and I weigh 167lbs. Which in my opinion is awful.. for my height and all. I hang out with all the cheerleaders and stuff at school and I'm always around the "popular" guys, But when it comes to dating, and actual having a boyfriend, I couldn't feel more out of place. I have been overweight since 1st grade. I try every summer, but I could be trying a lot harder. But this is the summer going into high school for me. And its really important to me that I lose it. I want to be 125, and with what I have been doing, I think I can do it. Last night, I was on the treadmill for 1 full hour. Today, after I finish this post as a matter of fact, I am going to go back on for another hour. And then later this evening, another hour. It sounds hard, but if you just listen to your ipod or something, You are entertained and you feel great. I burned 330 calories in just one hour. And the thing is, that probably only burned my dinner! But if you eat low calorie foods, and drink lots of water (which I know you hear all the time, but its really the best thing) You should be on a good road to happy times. And I'm making sure I never have to worry about this one single time for the rest of my life after I lose like 40 something pounds. It sounds hard, But we're all 14 or just a couple years below or above that are in this chat, and, of course, somebody has to say it... OUR METABOLISMS ARE AMAZING! Seriously, You can do it. And if you've been worrying about it your life like me, You've only wanted to try ONE good time in your life. With ONE good way to do it. And I think exercise and eating right, Are the most simple yet overlooked ways to do it. And yes, they've been overlooked by me as well. :)

do exercise after school every day if your mum gives you fat food the eat a little bit of it. if you are hungry have some fruit, or drink milkshake. Don't have that much chips or crisps cuz they are made potatoes.javascript:emoticon('XD') [/list][/list]

ok whoever "guest" is that wrote in november at 8:10 must be smoking something because anyone who thinks spitting and not eating lunch will help you lose weight and get healthy has to be nuts or on drugs, not eating is worse for you because you end up over eating later and oh my god, spitting is gross and its not gonna do anything for you exept get you some dirty looks cause no one wants to see that.
