so every1 knows running and jogging dont help u loose weight its mainly 2 help ur cardio or howevers u spell it walking helps u loose weight as much as running and jogging so good luck all well any1 else want help jus message me

Hi, I'm 13 years old, and I was obesse exactly a year ago. As we lived in our community, I worked every single day at the gym, and on the tredmile i burned atleast 600 calories. And well it felt great. If you exercise daily weather its jogging running walking anything but DALIY you could loose some weight, each day. I weighes 256 pounds to 97 pounds. This was on summer break, i used to go 2 times a day, since we didnt get out of florida. And now i watch wat i eat and well i love it!! I hope this information helps! :-D

well hunn all you realy need to do is to watch what you eat and watch what you do dont sit at home with out getin out side join sports at school!!!! im only 14 years old and i thought that i was realy fat because i weigh 127.7 pounds and i thought that if i told people my real weight that i would get called fat and every thing but my doctor told me that that is about how much a 14 and 15 year old girl should weigh and the way i keep my weight at a minnumum is i eat healthy and i play lots of sports like softball basketball cheerleading and track they run alot even tho I HATE running i still like that i can say im not lazy and i dont look at my family and say o well i need to lose weight because i am by playing sports your not only losing weight your buring carbs witch you need to make it a habit to count your carbs every time you eat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it is healthy to eat 3500 carbs a day so just take a lil whiel and dont get mad over what teh other kids say about you its your body not theres

hey im 14 adn i really want to lose weight before i turn15 ! my b-day is in october so i got about 6 months to go! i want to lose at least 15 pounds. its hard 4 me to lose weight cus im short im 5 ft tall ! any one know the quickest way? HELP !

Hi Im also 14, I weigh 85 kilos which is around 143 lbs and/or 11 stone.

Ive been trying to loose weight but Ive failed on meny atemts, ive found that eating 5 small meals a day is good,
In one atemp i lost 2 kilos in 4 days by 'detoxing' my self, In thous 4 day i had lemon water, water, small bowls of steamed green vegies (4 vegies of my choice), the vegies i choose were broccoli which is really good for you, not bad teasting when steamed, zookeenee (i just relised thats a relly funny word lol) carrott and boc choi (also extreamly good for u), every morning i also had 1 oz weat germ, tastes pritty nice.
Breakfast is extreamly inportant so I had a banna.
over all my 4 days went like this:

Breakfast:
1 banna 60 cal
1 glass of water 0 cal
1oz weat germ

Snack one (resess):
1 glass of water

Lunch:
2 glasses water or I could of had cold steamed vegies but I didnt like the sound of that

Snack 2 (after school):
I small bowl of (warm) steamed vegies (depending on what you pick and how much = a numer of calories but its never much)

Dinner:
1 glass lemon water (1 lemmon + water)

so I repeated this for 4 days, the max you would repeat this for is a week, this is just to get rid of toxins caused by 'junk food' and not a permanit deit, athou you can repeat every month for when u treat your self to the partys etc u go to e.g during these 4 days I also had 3 cans of Mother yet still lost 2 kilos XD

Hi, i am 13, I am a guy, i am 128 pounds, 5 foot 3 and i have a bit of a belly :-P it is like 2 inch away from were my waist is, and it looks kinda dumb wen i wear my skinny jeans... Ur thinking, oh, a fat skater, well it is only in my stomach, I have big arms, cause i do 50 push before my shower and 50 before i go to sleep, i play soccer and i am rep swimming, i also do 60 sit ups, so WTF why wontt my belly go away!!!!!!??????? cause people are starting to call me fat, when i Am only size 24 waist!

I wouldn't worry so much. You might getting ready to go through a growth spurt. My son's cheeks would get round right before he had his growth spurts. Besides your play soccer and swim.

The only thing would be if you didn't eat healthy. NO chips, sodas and other junk foods.

ok im 14 about to be 15 and i weigh 143 pounds evrybody says im skinny but i dont think their right because im only 5 foot 2 so i cant be besides i suck in really well but when i sit down in the classroom i feel like so fat. so i end up slouching backwards so i look skinnier and when i see all the other girls sitting up stright adn how skinny they are i get so jealous i want to be able to relax and not worry if im sucking in and i want to look good doing it. i found this diet where you just dont eat a lot of carbs the only thing wrong with it is you dont get fruit or breads or grains. you eat eggs and sausage for breakfast, meat and cheese wrapped in lettuce for lunce, and meat and salad for dinner. it sounds like it would wotk but im not sure about it can anyone help me

Sounds like the Atkins diet. Once a long time ago, I tried it and lost 15 pounds, but gained it back when I decided I couldn't sustain the diet. I was missing the fruits and vegetables and getting tired of meat.

A balanced diet is better. Lots of fruits and vegetables, less pastas and breads. Processed foods aren't very good for you, so that would cut out junk food. And sodas (including diet) will help you retain (and gain according to the latest reports).

Are you active? Exercise every day.

Im 14 too and i weigh 255 pounds but im 6'2 but i am "fat" i was 275 4 weeks ago all i did was drink a WHOLE glass of water before i eat and that makes me feel half full before i even eat and i just each LITE ranch instead of reg. i also run like a mile a day for 3 days a week and the other days i go to my high school to lift weights with my football team. HOPE THIS HELPS and just in case i am a guy :-D :-D

I'm glad that you started to make a change for the better. Just those couple of changes sounds like they made a big change for you. Every week or two, make one more change, like adding one more vegetable or fruit to each meal in place of a high fat food.
