OK here we goo.... I am 14 and i weigh 133 and it sucks. I tryed exercising and eating right but thenn I just stop and go back to my old ways. I see all my friends and they are skinny and look good in their cheer uniforms. I hade rolls and its groose.......... Now im still 14 and I weigh 105! just drink water everyday! Do sit ups! You have to out your mind to it. most people say '' yeah im going to do it!'' then they font. they dont really set their mnds. most people have an image in there head but they dont try to fulfill it they just sit around. GET UP AND GO YOU DUMMy! I did...... so can you!(:

Guys, i am also trying to lose weight.
I find that going fr a jog in the evening for 30 mins,
When ever you feel hungery, chew chewing gum,
Drink LOADS of cold water and ice cubes
Don't eat all of the food you get for dinner, ( just eat a bit of everything and then say you are not hungery.)
Don't eat anything past 6 30,
Set a realistic target!
Get someone to do it with!
Enjoy it! Don't see it as a chore, see it as a good thing.

hi im 13, and i weigh about 175lbs, i have founnd out that i am healthy, i went to the doctor and they gave me like a fat test and they said i was mostly muscle so muscle ways more than fat, make sure you are active and drink water, but other wise, try the test, it worked for me! :-D

It is a lot easier to stick to any sort of plan if you have your family's support. Explain to them why you want to do this, and come up with ways for them to help you (i.e. not encouraging you to eat junk food, making vegatables an option in your house). This may be something that they see as good for the entire family. Then, find an activity you ENJOY! :-D Maybe this is something like riding a bike or even hip-hop dancing. Find a way to fit this into your schedule. (Clubs at school, free time at home/on weekends). A tip for buying lunch at school: Most schools have an attempt at healthier lunch options. Recently, my friend found out they offer veggie burgers if you ask for them. Ask around. Maybe there's even salads. GOOD LUCK!!!!! :-)

So im 16 about to turn 17 and i read all this stuff saying about losing weight . You girls are to young to lose wight at 12 and 14. there is no need to lose weigth now you guys are to busy complaining about your weight . i weight 130 and im 16 i feel im an okay size but idc.
if you are really committed to losing weight you need to stop eating junk food. dont eat it every day you can every once in a while . you dont also have to starve your self just eat less proportions but eat your three meals a day with snacks in between meals. have fruits for snacks. dont like fruits like me? eat some chips but baked chips or granola bars. and more importantly excersice. i hate excersing but i get my ipod and dance in my room and that helps. walk/jog every once in awhile to start running because you will give up much faster. start by walking then jogging and if you feel good start running. sure it will take time but you will see results. you dont need diet pills or diet foods. which reminds me dont drink diet sodas those are worse than regular sodas try drinkin water and juices. after you drink water for a while and you decide to drink soda you will be able to taste all that sugar and will make you go back to water. i hope this works.

i'm fourteen too, im 146 pounds. i don't think i look like it, but sadly i am. i'm around 5'3 and i think my average weight is suppose to be like 120 or something like that. i'm kinda happy with my weight, but sometimes my apperance does bother me. losing weight isn't easy, and i think i'm going to try to. your height has a lot to do with what you should weigh. say that you are 5'11 you should weigh more than someone who is 5'4. i hope i'm not confusing you. haha. here's some things to do just to be loosing weight at a nice pace. if it doesn't work well, don't get discouraged, keep trying. i know i am going to try to do these.

1. drink lots of water. try to stay away from sugary drinks.
2. to try to break the habit of eating too much, carry gum. it's like 5 calories a piece. just to keep you non hungry until dinner/lunch/etc.
3. try to excercise, stretch, go for a jog, swim, jump on the trampoline, or just try to stay active.
4. i don't know if you watch much tv, or play on the computer, but try to do less of those. (stay active)
5. try to get into some kind of sport. last summer i started softball. i'm pretty good, & i like it. i'm also in track. i absolutely hate running but to loose weight, it's worth it. this summer i'm planning on being on the varsity softball team.
6. i love fruits. so replace any junk foods with good foods. fruits & veggies. if theres not much good food in the house then just eat some meats, some wheats, and things like that. not too much meat with fat.
7. heres something important i learned ; protein burns fat. peanut butter has a lot of protein. so before a work out or something. eat a lil bit of peanut butter. not too much though. it should help burn fat & calories quicker. if your alergic to peanuts/nuts, or something that's in peanutbutter. cheese also has protein. you can look up things with protein if you want on google or somethingg. haha.

Hi, i find that if you just cut out all sugar and carbs it works wonders, try and eat 4 small meals a day(like salad and chicken) but don't forget breakfast and excersise for an hour a day (swimmings best) but no sugar is the most important thing.

ok so i cant help anyone with this but i have the exact same problem u heard this befor 14 years 5`5 167 pounds everyone said i look fine but i dont fell fine people say just exercise but the thing is i exicise alot actuly everyone says im like one of the fastest and strongest people in my gym class and on top of that im a tennis player

But heres the total problem im not realy hungry in the morning but instead i get hungry late at night :-( and i cant stop myself from eating at night cause if i dont i pass out or get light headed i realy need help people !

Hi, seriuosly don't worry much now. you're still growing as you're only 12years old. The best thing is to do is to improve little by little on your food intake. Try putting in fruits and veggies in your diet. drink ALOT of water. Sleep well and do for starters moderate physical activity.

hi. i am 14 turning 15 this year. i just wieghed myself and i was 191.8 and my clothes only wiegh about 2lb. i am really self concience and i think that people don't like me and make fun of me for being big. my friends may except me but i really don't. i like a couple of guys but i sure that they don't think i am pretty. i have tried web sites on dating but i found my size to be the main turn off for a guy. all the weight websites are about skinny girls that want to lose more weight and there are not enough stories like mine. anyways i want to lose weight around my hips, thighs, butt and stomach. i want to lose it sorta fast but i don't want to become anerexic or hurt my health. i want guys to look at me and think that i am pretty because they notice all my other features and a slim waist to compliment them. i want to fit in at school but stilll be myself. help me because i can't really find support at my house or on the internet. :cry: i am a really happy person all the time but this wieght is effecting my mood and how cute my close can get and how easy i can find shirts and dresses.
