im no proffesional or anything, but have been dieting myself recently. DO NOT STARVE YOURSELF, because it can make you feel faint as well as this crash dieting makes you loose muscle mass and after your body hasnt eaten for quite a few hours it it enters starvation mode which stored fat on purpose.
i wouldnt reccomend taking pills as you all seem to be young and the probably wont work and will waste your money.
i have lost weight quite quickly following these rules. i would say to try to have 4-5 meals a day, i know that might sound weird, but this increases your metabolism, if you have a large muscle mass it will also increase metabolism, helping you loose fat. but the key is to eat healthy meals. you should eat as little carbs as you can as well, but if u do make sure there whole whaet rice, bread and pasta. i have created a little days meal below.
breakfast:oatmeal porridge (dont add sugar or any c**p like that)
snack 1 banana, grapes, apple (just to keep you going till lunchtime nothing big)
Lunch: a salad, celery, avacado, cucumber, lettuce(avoid dressing as most are quite high in fat/calories, but are the odd good ones)
snack 2: optional only eat if hungry (rice craker or more fruit ot some carrot sticks something like that)
dinner: lean peice of chicken or tune with a selection of vegetables
if you do have cravings for chocolate for example, splurge. if u try to ignore the cravings could result in you droppin the diet

Girls. Normal weight for your age is normally around 120-130 depending on height. It's EXTREMELY unhelthy to weigh only 98 lbs. at this age. Your body needs fat. Not too much. But that is way too thin. Forget cheerleading if you think you need to be less than 98 lbs. And for the larger teens, I am a teen myself and weigh 200 lbs currently, but before I weighed 235 and I lost that 35 in about 3 months. There is a lifestyle choice, NOT DET, that I have chosen to be apart of. It is called Atkins, it is very affecive but you have to be flexible with the decisions that you need to make with this program. It is a low carb eating plan. I still get to eat some very tasty stuff too! I have lost a bunch of weight and I don't even work out yet. So maybe this helps, I definately recommend it. And another thing is, DON'T DEVELOPE ANY EATING DISORDERS! Believe it or not they actually kill you more than they make you healthy, and YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL no matter what. This world contains many misleading behaviors including ads of "gorgeous" woman that are severely underweight. And it also involves people being very hateful. Screw them if they have a problem. Basically im overweight too and im also tryin to loose weight and i ound that the key thing to do was after eating what would be classed as a normally portioned meal, i would fill myself up with water , so i felt like i didnt need to eat for a few hours. This also made me feel more energetic so i had alot more energy to do sports such as swimming and even though i lived far away , i would enjoy walking home whereas before i dreaded it . Hope this helpps!

im 14 and weigh 140. I have this belly fat that makes me feel 3 months pregnant and big thighs and i notice my arms are bigger too. i started to actually face the consequences of eating junk all the time last summer because thats when my period started. i went from 96 pounds in the beginning of school in 7th grade, to 134 in 8th. i try to run around my trail because i have lots of land, but i always hurt my knees and get shin splints or something. i also cant breathe half-way around the trail, which is 1/8 of a mile. the whole trail is 1/4, and i cant jog the whole thing! ive also always had trouble with the mile run and now pacers(the "new" mile). i also LOVE food and cant keep myself from eating. i like fruit, but its just too hard to eat. i remember the good days in 6th grade when 00s were almost big and i couldnt find anything that wasnt huge...now im lucky to fit in a 5. I know i dont seem overweight to some but i feel terrible about myself and am sick of being so lazy and unable to do things.

Im and 14 years old aswell. I have a medical problem so its hard for me to loose wieght. Im 5' 2" and i weigh 152 pounds. and i go jogging, if you dont like jogging, try joining a sport team, or go a gym, or go biking, any exersice will help your diet and burn off carbs.
eat plenty of veg and fruit - basically, fill up on the good things.
drink water, or juice. not fizzy drinksz :-) ;-) .

I'm 14, I weigh about 140 pounds, and the average weight for a 14 year old girl is 105-115 pounds so I want to weigh within that range. My goal is to lose 30 pounds as soon as possible. I try not to eeat as much, but that only works sometimes. And for exercising... I do pushups, situps, run, and sometimes P90X. Idk what else to do with my fat legs, flabby arms, and unflat stomach. Even the guy I like is sorta skinnier than me. What else can I do!? HEEELLLLPPPP!!!

Maybe you could eat less portions, and drink more water.
And NEVER starve yourself. Its unhealthy, and if you start eating again, you just gain all the weight back.
You could exercise at least 60 minutes a day, even 1 1/2 hours at best.
For that you could walk, dance, play sports, go for a jog, ride your bike, or any other activities.
Even in a diet, you can eat sweets, but try to limit them, maybe once a week.
Stay away from carbs, fat, etc.
Eat lots of fruits, vegetables, whole grain, and more.

kayy well im 14 too and im trying to lose weight to,, ive tried alot of different things. the things ive found out are dont try to diet or starve yourself becasue if you starve your self you could get a eating disorder and diets never work. the one thing i can recomend is getting lots of exercise by running in the morning or after school you could always join a sports team and that will motivate you more. As for eating....try to limmit what you eat like small portions of everuthing and only eat as little as you need. Try to avoid carbs and counting calories helps a ton. you should try google and figure out what amount of carbs and calories are good for you bodie and try to keep in the limits. if you try eating healthy, exercising and drinking a ton of water and no other drinks you will be fine. oh and one other tip is like right now when you and your friends get in to the bouze try and stay away.... i know its good but it has alot of calories in it.

Hey guys, im 14 just like all of you, i know how hard it is and can be. This is a little plan that has worked for me. If you can stand a little exercise then i'd stop reading this. :-) First off... i kno i know.. im not a morning person but breakfast is very important!! Try Special K or Cherios. They arent bad just a little bland. For lunch stay away from "deserts", you DO NOT NEED IT! Just have a bunch of fruit or vegies. :-) and im not a fan of them either so dont cry. ;p For dinner just try some chicken or beef not fried of course. you dont need fast food such as mcdonalds, wendys, braums (especially), SONIC!! I also found that Subway is a good resraunt to eat at if you use it right. If u must have a bedtime snack then eat a small cup of dry cereal like cherios. If you dont drink water then dont expect to lose weight. You must drink water!!! If you have the time, running helps alot just like swimming. I try to run about 12 laps around my house. Work ur way up to it tho. I know being a little or alot over weight is painful in soo many ways. Try this out guys and GOOD LUCK!! :-D
