you just feel nauseous because you haven't ate much. after the swelling starts to go down you can eat more food and you wont feel nauseous and you wont throw up

you're not supposed to eat yogurts or any dairy for at least the first week and a half , two weeks... the chances of infection are higher when you do this.

Hey everyone. I got my piercing very recent like everyone else. The girl that did mine told me everything you guys are asking. The yellowing/discoloration of your tongue is completely normal, and so is the puss that is coming from where your bar is at. My swelling has gone down a bunch, but it can take at least a week to heal completely. My lisp is horrible too! I hope it goes away soon lol

my tongue has been pierced 5 days and the pain seems to be just as bad as  the day after i got it done, my lymph glands also feel tender and im worried about the white stuff coming out of it, the bar is too long (the swelling is going down) and so i keep catching it which is irritating is so much..i too had a white lump with a red dot on it, it went away over night and i was left with a squidgy white lump on the front which when i poked it with a Q tip it came off. im getting worried about infection, im a massive health freak about things like this so i guess i just want reassurance that everything is how it is supposed to be :-((i'm cleaning it regularly - alcohol free corsodyl mouthwash mixed with a little water as its still quite strong, (morning and evening) but after eating i use a sea salt soak to swish around my mouth. is this okay?

I have all those problems besides the bleeding and I was freaking out thank you so much I was about to go to the hospital

Its just wherre the ball lays. It doesn't mean that the hole is getting bigger. Its a sorta resting point for it to sit in..

dont over clean it, its probably the worst thing you can do to it, if it hasnt healed in about a month take it out, its not worth the pain and stuff.

Definitely do NOT use alcohol on your fresh piercing it can cause major irritation because your piercing is a minor wound. You don't want to squeeze a lump on your tongue either because it can cause more swelling. Just let it play out keep it clean. Use sea salt mixed with water and listerine zero to clean your mouth. If there's something around or on your piercing, wash your mouth with water THEN take a q-tip and gently wipe the substance away.

My piercer told me to use non-alcohol, mild anticeptic mouthwash, and clean it after breakfast, lunch and dinner. ONLY 3 times. He said if I feel like a need to clean it more, than to use plain water and swish it around longer. He also gave me sea salt (don't just get it at Walmart, go to an actual piercing shop) that I can mix with water to also help with cleaning. If I only use that, I can clean it 4 times a day, but if I use that and mouthwash, its back down to 3 times.
I hope this helps you (:
