I have this problem on and off but I think for me it seems to get worse when I take my bra off when it's cold. I find that pressing on my breasts instead of scratching them can ease the itching a little but I don't know what the cause is and currently can't afford medical care anyway! If anyone else has any ideas I would love to hear them!
Im 16, have size 40 C breasts and they've been extremely tender the last week. Just these past 2 days one of my nipples has gotten really itchy. Suggestions?
I have this problem and have large breasts. I tried lots of treatments and what helped me was canesten cream, the one you would use for thrush. I am careful with detergents etc. but nothing helped except this.
Hey there i shouldnt be too worried about the itch if i were you it can be hormones? are they sore too? i get same thing but its just major hormone fluctuations i have found which is why many females you see here posting who are of the age where hormones play up before menopause. it is also caused by something in bras so try non padded ones if you can make sure they are cotton and breathable and make sure you dont wear the sam eone twice and are washig regularly. these should fix ur rblems as you find they only come and go not constant. the thing hoever with the period and the cramping sounds as though you may have a gluten allergy which gives all these effects and almsot gave my mum cancer and can worsen later in life its very serious eitherthis or you are under your bmi by wuite alot and your body is struggling to help tiself. wither way see a doctor!

I am 21 years old. Have DD's. I have had minor breast itch my whole life. I've always heard that it was because my breast were growing. They have kept growing my whole life and I did have times were it came and went according to if I stopped growing or not for awhile, but now it is different. The last month or so I've had itch like mad on only one breat, especially around the nipple area. I wear sports bras. I don't have eczema to my knowledege or am I pregnant to my knowledge. I think I am only allergic to cats, but it has never been verified. I have been babysitting my friends cat and I don't know it it would have anything to do with it or not.The itch sometimes feels very deep in the skin. I have tried not itching and it doesnt stop. I have also tried caladryl lotion and benadryl. The caladryl slightly helps for a few minutes, but the benadryl I have not noticed any help for the breast itch. I am going to try and get new bras, as well as trying vaseline, alcohol. I just hope it is nothing serious. I am unable to go to the doctor & I am worried that if it is something serious or if I could be pregnant. If anyone has any idea what this could be or any suggestions, please help me. Thank you! <3
hey there you should go doctor!
you could be pregnant same thing happened to me when i was but they were real sore also..
if you have tried all that then im fairly sure the doctor could prescribe you something better than your standard local chemist stuff.
make sure though that you can get the best they know else they might just prescribe you the next thing u havent tried not knowing how good it is etc. You want to get to the bottom of this

I also forgot to include that I my whole life I have showered on an every other day or every few days basis and now that I have to be around this cat I am showering everyday.
Today I noticed a lot of dry, flaky skin on my breast.
I applied lotion and didn't bother it all day.
I hasn't really itched today.
I'll see what happens tomorrow and go from there, but hopefully this might just be from dry skin.

My breast have recently started itching and I don't know why...I have used Victoria Secret bras all my life and have never had this problem before. So why would I just now start to itch?
If you are wearing Victoria's Secret you are not alone. Since purchasing my last two bras there my ichiness increased two fold. It is intense after I remove my bra. After reading all of this here I have decided to purchase a new bra outside of VS. (It will be like a divorce as I LOVE my VS bra.)
im 17 and i have 38dd it sucks the dont itch that much. the biggest problem is the discolored skin on and under my breast. help i need to get rid of it.. :
My breasts have been itching for about a year now. It first started on my right breast which itched so much that I scratched it so hard that it blead and scabbed up my entire nipple. I used cream which made it go away, not its happenening on my right left breast. I am afraid this might be breast cancer? The itching never goes away and I sometimes find myself scrathing my breasts in public places! It looks like a rash that sometimes bleeds and flakes when it dries up. I dont know what to do and I am too embarrassed to see a doctor. Its so bad that I dont allow my boyfriend to touch my breasts :-(
Well, i hope this helps everyone. Ive never been on this website before but i wanted answers. I too have itchy (left)breast, however i did go to to get a mammogram and now im being told to go and see a breast specialist because of some suspicious activity in my left breast. So yes im very scared because my right breast never itch and the test results were negative for my right breast. my appointment is next week, so i guess ill let you guys know what the finding are. Thanks keep me in your prayers
Oh thank goodness it could be eczema. I've already got that! xD I have old bras which could irritate after too long of time, and my stress levels have been up. But there's something about old lace bras that cause irritation as well. I've got little blood blisters all over my breasts now, but I'll shape my nails tomorrow and switch the fabric of my bras, and start using lotion. I'll wait on the mammogram for a little longer, when I can fully be covered.
%-) I've never been on this site before and was looking for answers. . . . I am 30 yrs old and my right breast is VERY itchy, it is continious & has been itchy for appx. 3 weeks, on around and under my nipple. Last spring i had a mammogram and everything was clear. My aunt had breast cancer and had a masectomy on her right breast. . i called the dr and they told me that it is most likely dry skin due to weather changes or my hormones, i have been using lotionand anti itch cream ( NOT HELPING). . .. tried different bra, no bra nothing helps. .. . . any ideas???? Looking for advise!!
OK I AM 19 years old, and have the same problem as everyone else, wanting to rip my nipples off. Sometimes they are dry and flaky and sometimes they aren't, doesn't matter which time but both times they are itchy as hell. They are itchy with and with out ointment or creme to stop the itch, they are itchy in dry, and humid conditions, this has been going on for a year now and i have done a lot of traveling. I have been to the doctor and I don't have cancer....I am itchy with out a bra on and with bra's on...it is during the day and the night 247 no matter what!!! I have C cups, and don't have stretch marks, totally healthy and normal looking, and have tried all different soaps and still i itch!!
