Sounds like low iron levels to me...Have the exact same symptoms and that's what mine is...Dizzy, headache, seeing stars the lot... Sometimes, when I stand,I have to stop and hold onto something for a minute or so till I come right

Well this started happening to my gf after a night of drinking and crying.thats when i started researching and i think it has to do with the respiratory system .and everything affects the respiratory system like your diet.well anyway i suspect its a muscle called the STERNOCLEIDOMASTOID that causes the dizzyness and sometimes headaches or other weird symptoms.this muscle gets strained and is in the neck.anyway out of curiosity do alot of you have a habit of crying ?just curious my theory is that this muscle gets strained with time and it can cause problems.i think this might be the cause for some of you however its my theory.btw you guys should try finding a sauna with curing FAR infrared heat. It heals you (: hopes this helps someone out there

I hope you have found answers from what is causing your dizziness . I truly hope you are feeling better. I am dealing with the same thing and I was diagnosed with POTS Syndrome last year.

I do think your right about the anxiety we look for various reasons because we don't want to think it's just anxiety.. My next step is to see a therapist. I've been to four ent doctors with no defenite cause for dizziness

This is the best answer I've read so far! I've been taking iron supplements, drinking as much water as I can, etc. But, now that you mention it, I think I hold my breath without consciously thinking about it, as my "recovery" method is deep breathing and distraction. My guess is, when I think about the dizzy sensation too much, I continue to hold my breath, and it worsens.

Hello, I just started having the dizziness and what you wrote really helps me. I'm going to try what you said. lately I have been having a lot of nightmares which I hardly never have but what you said about blood sugar really makes sense with the nightmares. I'm going to keep myself hydrated and make sure my sugar intake is enough. thank you for your comment. I also have anxiety,,,its really scary with the lightheaded ness, I thought there might be something wrong with my heart but what you said really makes sense

I was diagnosed with vertigo. These symptoms are exactly what vertigo does. There are different movements you can do to help these subside. If you think vertigo may be the cause of your problems you can look up videos on different movements you can do to help the dizziness subside.
