I wrote a while back and told you my doctor said it was depression and gave me pills. The pills made me worse so I stopped them and saw a new doctor. Then I did some research and found this term that was exactly what I was filling. Maybe you as well. Do a search on " Depersonalization " I hope this helps.

It could also be positional vertigo, where holding your head in a particular position can make you dizzy.

I have the same problem, mine is about 7 months now. It's really prostrating but now I'm seeing nuerologist he said It could be mind seizure but they have to do some sort of test like EEG and MRI of my brain just to make sure. I'm just done doing my MRI and EEG id next I think you need to see Nuerologist like I did.

to "Guest" you are obviously very dizzy. I have never seen such horrible spelling, grammar, syntex...the whole shebang. If you are truly 14 years of age, you must be the oldest first grader in the country, since no one could possibly have promoted you.

Hi Everyone, I have had lightheaded feelings occasionally for years, I'm 63. I have always found that a little sugar in any form produces a quick response. Lately, I have had one or two giddy episodes like the ones described by others on this site but in all other respects feel fine. I have always had rather low blood pressure and will often be aware of this when getting up from a chair too fast. I have been checked for diabetes etc but blood is normal according to the doctors so it seems we just have to manage on our own. The good news is it doesn't appear to be life threatening and once you figure out what works it's quite manageable, if a bit scarey!

i was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes two years ago. I have exactly the same feeling. My joints feel hollow. My biggest thing is i get light headed and dizzy almost to the pass out point and everything goes blurry and i have to reach for something to hold on to or take a knee until i get my vision back and my light headedness goes away, usually about 10 seconds which feels like forever. I have a fear i have a blood clot in my brain because im always feeling pressure. But I have not been to a doctor to get an explnation. I hope im not dying! but all the symptoms your having i have daily, and its happens alot daily, mostly from the sitting position to standing. but sometimes i cant control it and it happens. WHATS WRONG WITH US!!! LOL

Hi have anyone had their ears checked? Or have the doctor check to see if you may have c-diff. I was told that annoying c**p could do it also. My sister goes through the same as you all. Good luck.

i have the same problem at least i think it is my doctor said i have a leaky gut which is very common and very undiagnosed. He also said this causes anxiety and the feeling of not feeling like yourself. It maybe worth looking into for some of you on here who are still unsure

I've been having the same problem for about a month now. I've been to the dr twice taken the vertigo meds, and done everything they've been telling me to do including staying hydrated and nothing seems to help. For me it seems like there different times in the day that it gets worse too.
