Please go to a good homeopath who will be able to give you the right remedies for your lungs to heal properly...
I have read that Vitamin E and A are good for lung inflammation. ONLY TAKE THESE IN SMALL DOSES because they are not water soluble like Vitamin B. They remain in your blood stream - so don't take too much. I greatly sympathize with you pain and I am praying for your recovery and that God will grant you peace and the joy from knowing that He is with with you and will never forsake you. God Bless.

Guys, was diognozed with bipasal pneumonia. Previous to that i had tried self treatment with antibiotics with no improvement in my condition. Went to the doc who prescribed leflox. Ten days later no significant change. Uncomfortable chest and back pain. Then i did Augmentin 500mg morning and evening plus Azithromycin one tablet every day for three days. Chest pain now gone and back pain dissipating after only three days  ***this post is edited by moderator *** *** web addresses not allowed*** Please read our Terms of Use
I got pneumonia when I was 17 I'm now turning 36 in May and have suffered pain in my right lung especially on cold days I get the flu jab which helps a lot as some of will know having the flu/cold with this problem is really no fun for anyone looking forward to the day I can cough with out having to grip my side lol
Six weeks ago I had the flu.  Recovery was slow so I went to the doctor.   She wanted a chest x-ray which showed some signs of pneumonia and two spots and grey area in upper left lobe.  The antibotic did not work.  The next antibotic did work after seven days.  The doctor wanted a CAT which showed  the two spots so next was the bioptsy.  Today I was scheduled for the biopsy.  They chose the needle thru the back method.  I was in the CAT tube all hooked up and the doctor suddenly says to the staff that he was suspending the biopsy because the spots had decreased in size by 1/3 and cancer does not do that.  He could only suggest his findings but indicated it may be scar tissue from the pneumonia.  He said it was very rare to not proceed with the procedure.  We all did high fives and cheered. I still have that sharp stabbing pain a wee bit left of center chest.  He said it sometimes takes pneumonia a year to heal.  About a month ago I was telling an Amish lady at a market I shop about the flu and pneumonia.  She told me to get some peppermint oil swab it in my nose.   I did and my nasal passages cleared up in two days.  I had two small bumps there.   Did the oil treatment help my lungs.......I don't know but I'm still doing it. Very odd.   More CAT's in two months.
I have the same problem before, all you have to do is to avoid pollution specially cigarette smoke, jog 2x or 3x a week and eat fried pork or chicken liver,i dont know what's the coonection with fried liver. It works for me, you might as well try it.
Definitely! The Prednisone is a must-do to clear up the infection and help your lungs heal.
I highly recommend that you stop believing in magical forces like Qi (or Chi, or whatever), and stick with real medicine. The only reason the Chinese started using that crap was that they hadn't yet figured out the scientific method. The only reason so many stuck with it was because they lived in abject poverty and never had access to REAL medicine.
Hi keep your sunshine inside shining like a diamont. drink lots of cleaning, green of herb tea, when feeling hungry. maybe an alternative doctor can help you make your immune system strong. eat lts of vegetables and fruits and stop with all sugar!!!LOVE
Hello, Im quite in the same situation as you in the left side lung pain. I was in the hospital for 8 days after being diagnosed with pneumonia, had antibiotics put through my vein, got rid of all the symptoms after the 8 days, felt really fine, except when I left the Hospital and start walking, i began having horrible pain in the lung, similar to the one I felt before going to the hospital. I called a "lung doctor" and said this was normal, since I was out of meds, so the lung was still injured. 3 days later out of the hospital, I felt fine, probably because I was taking pain killers, and since all the symptoms had gone.... then after 2 days of work (i'm a waiter) i finished the pain killers prescription and the pain came back again, so I had to quit my job, which obviously sucks, and now its 1 week since i left the hospital, still with pains, specially when i lay down, or if I walk more than I should, 4 hours later the pain comes really intense. Tomorrow I made an appointment with another "lung doctor" just to know if this is normal, and from reading all you guys posts, it might seem a problem that could last for a long time, hopefully I have faith I will recover 100% for it, the pains really freak me out!!!!
Hi Guys...I got diagnosed with pneumonia at the end of March 2014 on my left side, I also got diagnosed with pleurisy. I'm only 22 years old, I had intravenous drugs in hospital for 1 evening went home, then the next day I got rushed back in because I was throwing up all of the drugs thy had given me and the tablets I had to take. I got put back on a drip and got given different tablets. I'm sill getting back pain on my left side when I breathe, although this only happens now and again. I'm getting concerned as I'm not sure if this is normal or not? Do I go to the docotors? I don't know what to do, I just want to know if this is normal or not? Would really appreciate anyone's help or advice. Thank you x
Sorry to hear you how much you have suffered, but thank God you are alive because you are not ready to die without knowing and having Christ in your heart. Repenting and getting baptized like God's word says is necessary for salvation and God is giving you a chance to do so. You should try a natural product called Stem Alive. It helped me cure from asthma and I stopped taking it for a while and I had pneumonia 2 weeks ago but I am going to start taking them again. These capsules activate your stem cells that have the capacity to renew organs.I heard a testimony of a man who had little holes in his lungs do to a bug or something like that which was living in there and after taking these capsules his lungs started to heal until all the damage was reversed. So that and lots of natural not synthetic vitamin C.
