you may have given yourself a hernia from coughing
you may have a hernia. possibly from coughing too hard.
could be the chemicals they are using and you may be allergic, but stop if it gets worse and maybe try vaping or eating it
I have been smoking pot daily for awhile now and in the past year have developed severe issues with abdominal pain, nausea, random vomiting, repeated episodes of diverticulitis and a huge change in my previously carefree life. I have had upper and lower GI studies, CT scans, X rays and the consensus is gastroparesis. I have gone from 269 to 180 and am still dropping. No cancer. No nothing except an inability to consume food and process it correctly.
The only thing left to do now is stop using pot and see what happens. If that's what's causing all this I will be sad but healthier.
I retired almost 5 years ago, I used to work for an airline so I couldn't smoke for 25 years , but the night I retired I was stoned. I've been smoking weed ever since. But about 6 months after I retired I started losing my appetite and of course losing weight. At one point I went from 185 down to 160. I went to the doctor and they did cat scans, checked my stomach and found a few ulcers. They blamed them on Ibuprofen, Aleve what ever. Somewhere along the line I decided too stop smoking and within 2 weeks started gaining weight. I always start up again with the same results. I'm no doctor but I think it's the THC because if I start smoking hash oil it gets worse faster because it's almost pure THC. Maybe it affects different people in different ways.
Hey guys! everyone look into Hypermesis Cannaboid Syndrome.
my boyfriend is a chronic pot user and has recently been very sick and hospitalized for throwing up like 20 times an hour. The doctor diagnosed him with CVS which is actually the first symptom of hypermesis cannaboid syndrome. He takes pills to help reduce the amount of acid in his stomach. At first he got sick for days at a time but now knows how to slow down the sickness. I stumbled across articles discussing this syndrome and it was only discovered in 2004- to get this you typically smoke every day (3x a day) for at least a year. It starts out slowly and increases and gets worse until you stop blazing.
Interesting. I have been smoking Cannabis for over 10 years, i am 26 now. I have never had any problems with stomach pains before that i can blame the herb. I have also been drinking Yerba Mate for the last 8 years too, and that stuff is amazing at being a whole body tonic, so i suppose that could contribute as well.
Only problems that i have with Cannabis is that i cant really sleep without it (after a week im back to normal), and that if i smoke in the mornings i tend to get really stiff and sore joints.
If i had the money and the resources i wouldn't be smoking it, i would just be taking the oil. I like it much more, lasts longer, more balanced, and much more medicinal quality. Cannabis is highly medicinal and has a lot of positive actions on the body if taken internally.
I truly believe that Cannabis is the future of medicine. Once the word gets out that it will cure like 90% of people with all types of cancer, well lets just say it will be some awesome interesting times. Take care..
yes, I have been having these issues as well. I am a constant smoker and have since been rushed to the ER 3 times in the last 6 months from vomiting and nausea. i have had an endoscopy, a colonoscopy, a gastric emptying test, CT scans, and ultra sounds, all coming back normal except my doc says I have GERD. My GI doctor says it is because of the weed but i am so addicted i cant stop.i think if you eat a lot of munchies and arent active, this is going to happen. At first I just lost my appetite, but now if I eat something acidic I could possibly trigger an attack and have to go to the ER. the pain and vomiting is so awful, it is an aggressive vomiting that has to be stopped by IV fluids and meds. My medical bills are out of control, i just dont want to believe it is the weed. :(
