That's just it, the wisdom teeth are not coming out, they are still under the gum line. They also don't hurt. I just don't want to go through the trouble of removing them unless I really thought there was a chance it would stop the light headedness

Youmna, you can read the previous posts including mine. They are very helpful. As for the symptoms, they are pretty much the same, but I still have my teeth in, so I can't really tell. Good luck!

I am grateful for this site - my brother had been having dreadful trouble with a sore mouth, saliva issues, ulcers on and off and swelling of the gums at the back of his mouth.  He went to the Dentist and she explained that he had a bad wisdom tooth which had come out way up at the back of his mouth - so in the wrong spot!! - and was infected and needed to come out.  When I had a look in his mouth the tooth that had come through looked quite a yellow colour and there was a lot of swelling.  He went on antibiotics and everything settled down and he meant to go back and get it out but like so many life got in the way and he did not.  Now he is experiencing the similar symptoms but with the added dizziness - he got such a fright the other morning when he woke up and felt so dizzy.  He also felt a bit sick but then not sure if it was from the fright or that he already felt sick.  He took his blood pressure and it was up - top reading more than the bottom but after a while it came down steadily to return to normal.   Since he has not had the dizziness but he has felt sore in his mouth.   Thank you all for your helpful information.:-)

Hi I've had constant nausea for over a year now and have no idea what it is caused from. I've had Gastro and X-rays but all seems to come up fine which is really frustrating because I really want to know what's wrong with me. I've got wisdom teeth coming through which have become infected - do you think these could be the root of the problem? I just really want to know what's wrong with me! :'( :-|

Hello Victoria89!

I'm not a doctor, but I read somewhere that infections can cause fever and body aches, and since your teeth are in your mouth I believe the germs from the infection can travel through your stomach canal. This might cause nausea and stomach pain. I hope this helps!

Angelshero, why not just fly out of the country to a really great oral surgeon take the xray with you and have them all extracted all at once, there is this new extractions machine it literlally vibates the gum away from the tooth my wisdom extraction took 15 minutes hardly any pain this guy was amazing, and well worth it

Hi everyone - have been reading this forum everyday because it has helped me feel sane and keep hope that all of these horrible symptoms are caused by my wisdom teeth which we're coming in at an angle (towards my cheeks) and very painful. I had them out yesterday with local anaesthetic and I was wondering how long it took those people who have had them out to start to feel better again. These things have nearly ruinined my life for three months and I feel at breaking point now. Would love to know how much longer I should wait to expect any improvement. It's the day after they're out and I don't think there is any improvement. Any advice would be so so appreciated. Thank you all again for posting your experiences - you've saved me so much stress. Kelly x

Hi I'm jay 21, I started feeling a lot of the symptoms stated here last year, main ones are brain fog, slight anxiety, muscle tightness in the neck and top of my back, headaches and migraines, fatigue and generally not feeling myself or well at all. I was finding it hard day in day out to function properly, one day I spoke to my dad and he told me when he was my age he had exactly the same thing he had 4 wisdom teeth,an so did his sister an his father, it was their wisdom teeth! My dad got his removed and all symptoms disappeared soon after. I'm currently wanting mine out as my symptoms are getting worse but I believe it is my wisdom teeth as the ache in my top an bottom jaw has got a lot worse, I ha my dentist X-ray my jaw and I have all 4 wisdom teeth coming in but he said they seem to be growing in normally. I believe the wisdom teeth growing can put a lot of stress on your body as they are burrowing through bone etc! I'm hoping to get mine removed soon but for just under a year have been wondering what the hell has happened to my health hopefully will sort it out soon :)

Hi guys, THANK YOU for all your posts, I was convinced there was something malignant going on and it was driving me INSANE! I have now realised it is most probably my upper left wisdom tooth. I started having short dizzy spells in the beginning of July, just every now and then, not a big deal, I always thought it was dehydration or the hot weather we got here in England suddenly (though I'm not very sensitive to heat and drink plenty of water throughout the day). At the end of July, I woke up one morning with a mean headache and for the next week, my head felt really foggy and sensitive and in all ways horrible. I couldn't go to work and i was really, really tired all the time. Then I got better for a while, and in August, the headaches started again. They would turn up at any part of my head. The aches weren't so severe, but their reoccurence made me very nervous. I went to a doctor who thought I might have Lyme disease, I got treated for it, it didn't help (obviously). Still had headaches that now mostly settled on the left side and it would also hit my left ear, the left side of my neck and my upper back (sometimes it felt like a burning pain, it was incredibly frustrating!). Soemtimes the pains would move to the right, but 9/10 they would be on the left. Still have these symptoms now, as well as eye pain and an achy left side of the nose, one day I felt like I had been punched in the nose so I'm thinking my wisodm tooth might be screwing with my sinuses (also get a blocked nose ESPECIALLY on the left side). Brain fog, sometimes at work get a weird out-of-it feeling, it doesn't feel like I'm goign to fall over and need to sit down, just like I'm not properly connected.

I have been to 3 different GPs and the ER twice, seen an optician that did a very thorough eye test (one of those fancy ones, 50GBP!) and even had my ears syringed (had too much wax anyway), my bloodwork and neurological exam (just the one a GP does in her office) were perfect. I haven't felt normal since August, sometimes I get so anxious and worried because nobody knows whats wrong with me, and then I get a slight panic attack and my boyfriend, although supporting and sympathetic, is getting very tired of my complaints!

I went to a dentist that I hadn't been to before (I only moved here a year ago), who, although didn't say my headaches (the only symptom I thought of mentioning, although there was so much more!) could be caused by the wisdom tooth, didn't want to do anything about it. I went again, same practice, but different doctor, who also thought my pain wasn't enough (I had tears in my eyes while I was sat in his chair).

Do you guys think it's safe to say my symptoms are caused by that silly wisdom tooth? I am going to a new dental practice on Wed, hoping for some actual help, because I can't keep living like this. It's affecting my work, schoolwork and my relationship with my boyfriend and friends (I rarely see them since I always feel too crappy to go out!).

Thank you guys! I wish everyone the best!!!

Hello pirpir!

I have four wisdom teeth coming in, and I have pretty much the same symptoms! I know what you feel because I'm going through the same thing!! I tell you this: I read somewhere ( trusted website, I can give you the link :) that wisdom teeth are actually related to the rest of the body, especially to the head because they grow in the jaws. They are connected to the trigeminal nerve. Their pushing out disturbs and irritates this nerve, causing you to get irritated and have mood swings in addition to headaches, eye pain, dizziness...... My sister got sick of my complaints as well :D but now after finding this forum I no longer complain to anyone :D wish you a speedy recovery and to everyone in this forum!

Hey saraizac! Could you give me that link? That sounds very interesting!

I've been having some nausea and diarrhea for a few days, but it seems to be less this evening so might have been a stomach bug, my boyfriend's been feeling a little ill as well.

My headaches have moved to the right side from time to time (my wisdom tooth is on the left), which is worrying me a bit since I'm not sure if that can still be connected to the tooth then. I had pretty bad eye pain on the right side as well a while ago, but that's become less by now. Quite a lot of neck pressure, especially on the left, but it moves around at times. I had a small anxiety attack today as well, but my boyfriend managed to calm me down. Could my eyes be having pressure due to a wisdom tooth on my left?

At times I get SO SCARED that I've got a brain tumor or something, and then I think about how I've been to my GP for 4 times and have my eyes checked out, surely if I did have one, they would have found out by now?

Anyway, going to a new dentist tomorrow, so fingers crossed for some actual help!
