My name is Rose, and I am seventeen and have dealt with the same issues with my body as well. My niece is 15 and she has trouble gaining weight. (lucky her...) She weighs in at 106 lbs. I weighed 145 lbs this time last year, and this year at my smallest I weighed 105 lbs. I did it the wrong way and starved myself and now my body is ruined. I cannot digest anything properly and often times struggle with pain and bloating from food that I could once enjoy. Also, I feel awful about myself whenever I see even a little weight coming back on my body. I recommend dieting and exercise. Dieting doesn't mean dull, flavorless foods; it just means eat smaller portions during meals or snack healthy and lightly throughout your day so you're never going without or starving. Also, plenty of water is great for your body. It flushes out the system. Prunes are a great source of fiber and will help keep your body going like it's supposed to. I really hope this information will help you, so that you can successfully lose the weight you want without having to deal with as much pain as I have...

hi, did this diet really work for you?? ive always been a horrible dieter but im committed to trying this diet since the amount of weighloss is huge. Can you drink light coffee before 2pm or strictly NOTHING before 2? Also have you managed to keep the weight off? i realize this was posted 4 yrs ago!

i am in the same boat as you, but my case is more extreme, my name is megan im 5`5 and i weigh a misrable 260 pounds, i hate myself in more ways the i can think, so if you find a way that helps you lose weight please tell me ill be forever greatful

How many cotton balls? How often? Times per day? Or a certain amount per day? Did you do this everyday for six months?

I'm in my early 20's. I have been struggling with my weight for awhile. I am 5'2 and weigh 152pounds. I would like to lose as much weight as possible as quickly as possible. My preferrable weight would be around 115. I have three children so I do not have the time or money to go to the gym, buy expensive products, or food. All of my time and effort goes to my children. I understand it may not be healthy but I knew this ahead of time I googled "healthy or not," so please all ideas for weight loss, no matter how extreme. Thanx.

I am a mother of two teen girls. My oldest is 15 and she is 139lbs. My younger daughter is 13 and she is 130lbs. I want to say it's not about how much you weigh it's about how to live with the body you have.  I have always been the fat kid and now I am fat mom.  Everyone has always been thinner than me.  Then I realised how strong I was.  I hit the gym and toned up. I became stronger than all the females and most of the men.  I was doing more push-ups, more sit-ups, then I was hit in a car accident my back was injured, my neck and my shoulder. I hadnt been able to walk for a long way for almost two years. No exercise, no walking, for almost two years.  I would eat in bed and watch tv. So you see I am now back to the weight I had lost. I am 5'4" and I am 237lbs. There is nothing anyone can do fix your body in a week or two so find cothes that fit you well. It will make you look like you are thinner. You will be healthier and that's what you should be worry about your health. Live with your body the way it is. Love the little things like how a certian color makes you feel. Wear it and feel better. It's alot easier for everyone to accept who you are if you accept it. I hope you hear this if nothing else YOU ARE IMPORTANT NO MATTER WHAT ANYONE THINKS!! Keep telling yourself that until you listen. Best of luck to you. If you wasn't worth it no one would of taken the time here to say anything. You won't win them all but there is always a chance to win atleast one. Sincerly a mom.

you didnt mention that there are side effects to this sorbitol diet, including chronic diarrhea and abdominal pain, natch.

Once everyother day befor bed throw up by sticking your 2 fingures down your throught... and drink gatorade and thats it

For those who say they're losing weight fast from eating next to nothing or just vegetables, you are losing mainly muscle. This is extremely unhealthy and will most definitely lead to problems later in your life. Do you want a practical way to lose weight fast? I'm talking 5 lbs / week and it is not too unhealthy. First, throw out your sh*t food that you might snack on. Next go buy some energy drinks (the diet kind~~> the diet makes this the unhealthy part), do not drink more than 1 / day. Next buy vitamin supplements as the food that I will suggest will result in vitamin deficiencies. Then buy lentils, celery, onions, spinach, and peppers or corn doesn't really matter. Buy beef/ chicken/ or vegetable stock as the different flavors will give you a variety of flavors. Now let's get started. Eat lentil soup all week long and add the vegetables I suggested to your soup. Make half a bag (or roughly 500 calories) and eat only this over the course of the day. Drink lots of water throughout the day and between the soup and water you will be full and maintain a caloric intake of 500 calories. Use 1 energy drink (for energy obviously) and go walk/run 5 miles (I suggest running with intervals of walking, you can do this in just over an hour if you are new to exercise). You will burn over 500 calories doing this workout (the more you weigh the more weight you will lose). This will melt fat off like crazy and you get over 50 grams of protein from the lentils so you just lose weight in fat not from muscle. If you lose weight from muscle you will lose lots of weight but you will look very strange afterwards, I guarantee this. Also do some pushups and sit-ups to maintain muscle on your arms and abs. In one month you will lose 20 lbs, now go get started!

Girl you are not fat u r prolly gorgeous too. If u wanna c fat come switch bodies with me u may have a lil pudge but ur not fat quit telling yourself that!! Cheer up n if you really want to lose weight then go for it best of luck :)

hey april,
i just read your post and know how you feel im 15 and weigh 155 pounds. i cant do volleyball last year because i dont want to get picked on for my weight but over the summer i went to the gym adn runnign everyday with my sister. ive lost over 25 pounds just by working out and eating healthy. i had my sister who i look up to go with me to run and she helped me lose weight. now im confident about my weight and can do volleyball and now that im in shape i can run track..
