It's weird u said that coz mine also started after I had an operation. I have also been on morphine for a couple of years now and never had these sweats when I weaned myself off of it a few months ago. I also suffer from thyroid and have RLS and RHS (restless legs syndrome and restless arms syndrome.
I am 23 and I have been on Prozac for about 5 months and I get leg sweats at night. I never considered it being the Prozac. I'll ask my doctor next week when I see him.
I am fixing to be 43 years old I am not on any antidepressants or anything of that nature. However about three months ago at night my legs started sweating mainly my inner thighs. So they stick together and they're like clammy. I have to sleep with a shirt a cotton shirt between my legs if I don't, then I end up getting kind of like sores on the inner thighs may be shaving sores maybe eczema that I'm itching profoundly even though I've never had eczema before. My hormones are fine and I keep my house at 58 so I have absolutely no clue but I know it needs to quit because it's very disturbing and very irritating. In the sores or rashes or whatever you want to call it the follows it's like crazy take quite some time to go away it's a it's an extremely uncomfortable feeling

I'm a 17 year old male and almost every night I'll wake up to my waist down drenched in sweet it's Geting worse and worse by the weeks and the only thing that seems to help it is unfortunately weed for I think it has to do with the relaxation involved with taking the drug but for the days when I don't smoke right before I fall asleep by around 3 am I'll wake up in discomfort and very wet so I'll throw off the cover and instantly I'm shocked by the cold due to to the sweet and then I'll eventually go back to sleep and with in 2 to 3 hours I'm back up agian sweating my ass of literally it was just once a week thing but now it every day I don't know what the do.....I also have a theory that when I fall asleep the chemicals in my brain arnt fully so the say paralyzing my body and when I'm in a adream my lower half is still active reaction to thought and movement I'm dreaming about don't know if that makes sence but that's just a theory thank u for reading plezz reply
I get this too and feel relieved that I am not the only one. But why just the legs/lower body? I am a 46 year old female and my room is cool and it does not happen every night but often say three or four nights in a row. It's weird!
I'm taking sertraline and I've suffered with these cold night sweats pretty much since I've been taking it, not every night but most nights it happens. I kick the duvet off and instantly start shivering and the sheets are drenched. Maybe it's an ssri thing? I'm 29 female. Sometimes they're full body sweats but mostly just affects my legs. It's horrible
I am 41 and on Zoloft. Recently I have been experiencing the same thing. Ever figure out what it is? Zoloft side effect?
I just started getting leg sweats/lower body sweats. I've been using the same sheets and blankets for a couple years so no changes there. I keep the temp down in my room. My upper body isn't sweaty when I wake up but my lower body has soaked the sheets in sweat. No new supplementsite or medication other then I had a cold and took dayquil/nyquil for a 4 days and nights and now that I'm nearly better I stopped taking them.
From what I looked up anti depressants, thyroid or hormone changes can affect this but I don't have any of those. Getting really tired of laundering sheets so frequently.

Doctors don't know. They say hmmm... I've never heard of that. Ugggg
I've been dealing with this on and off for about a year. I'm a 26 year old male and I take Adderall for ADHD. The second I lay down and pull the covers up my legs start sweating and feeling clammy. If I ignore it, eventually my whole body will be sweating, but if I pull my legs from under the covers they feel chilled, while the rest of my body feels normal. It's so frustrating. My bedding is kind of thick so that might play a role but even with lighter weight blankets it happens.
I totally agree. I'm 22 and it only started within the last few months, exactly same for me is that I don't overheat anywhere besides my legs and its usually very cool in my room. It feels icky at first but just dries away with air
Hello, I too have night sweats. Recently it's been mostly my legs that sweat (as in drenched).
I have been diagnosed with very low testosterone (about 4% of what it should be for a 53-yr old) and other hormonal deficiencies. I suggest that you people ask your doctor to do a blood test to check your endocrine system function. I'm male, but this applies to women too.

Yes I used to suffer with terrible leg cramps when I was younger to the point it would make me cry, now I suffer badly, waking up and my lower limbs soaking wet
I think it is a thyroid issue for me. I had mine removed to to a large goitre that I didn't know I had. I'm on synthroid also. Mine leg sweats started after all this.
