I get these periodically. I squeze them and they sometimes pop and discharge. Sometimes they grow larger before they will pop. They eventually pop and discharge and heal. Just use something after they pop so they dont get infected. These lymph spots are areas where the body dumps dead cells.

Hello, may I join my voice to this choir... lol! My tiny bump in one of my ear lobes hurts only when I wear the earrings (I've pierced ears), once I take them out the pain disappears after a few hours. If I don't wear the earrings, it never hurts and the little bump doesn't show at all. I can only feel it on touching.
Does this sound like a cyst, or an infection, anyone? I'd like to fix it so I can wear my earrings but hate to have surgery as I'm sure the scar will be prominent. As to the non-surgery methods I'm a little skeptical... :o)

Ok...no earings...good hygene...small "pearl" inside my right ear lobe. Have had it for years and no pain. It just bugs me. Then it started to itch and then i messed with it to try to pop ot or supress the soreness. THEN i somehon bbroke the skin and now it IS sore and red and swollen and sore around the whole ear- question- plastic surgeon, dermatologist, primary care, or E,N, T specialist???? Suggestion? It clearly is becoing infected. Thanks
Duker, I'd go to see a dermatologist first and then she/he would probably refer you to a different specialist if needed. I would've suggested to you NOT to touch that little "pearl" as it's not a pimple that you can squeeze, but you did, and now you MUST see a doctor. Good luck! :o)
oh Adela I am aware!!! after 5 years of a benign situation I just got frustrated one day and was spontaneous! ear fail... Anyway, I think your suggestion is clear and was coming to that conclusion with derm before porting. its just a weird deal to me...human body-amazing and puzzling but wondrous! Thank you warmly
Ok I'm glad you'll see the dermatologist. I did the same and she suggested to see a plastic surgeon as she thinks might be a tiny cyst and so it needs a minor surgery. I didn't do it yet but probably will. Yes, the body is a wondrous things...if nothing happens!!! lol! Good luck to you!
i have had a little lump on my ear every since i can remember, just a few weeks ago it looked a bit bigger and informed my mum. she then pierced it and squeeze it.. this only resulted in it getting bigger and hurting a lot. it is on the bottom of my earlobe and it very noticeable. it has gotten so big it gives my necks muscle knots underneath the ear and is so pain to sleep on): how do i get it out! it feels like a solid ball in my earlobe and i want it gone!
For the record, no "bile" came out of your ear. Blood and pus, sure. But not bile. Bile is produced by the liver and is only seen in parts of the digestive tract.

So I totally just did the needle thing, aghh i feel much better. I didn't get all the gunk out of the cyst but it went down in size and it's let's pressuring annoying pain. Thanks for the post! I've always been wanting to jab them with needles but would get scared that it was bad and would let them run their course.
