It is common in guys (including me) so there isn't much to worry about. I've been dealing with it for years now and the girls I have been with didn't seem to care. My current gf said its hurts sometimes if I let it get too prickly. My suggestion is never to shave it, because in my case when I shave it and then have sex I get a rash in the spots I shaved I guess from the friction and tiny hairs that are still there. It sucks plucking them but that is the best way to go. And you will get used to the pain

I too have the same problem since puberty, I wasn't circumcised till I was 25. It's very embarrassing and I avoid sexual contact when the hairs are there. I didn't start plucking the hairs till I was 22, I did notice a very slight reduction in the return of the hairs and they grow right up to my circumcision scar. I have had some ingrown hairs in the past which have left nasty scars on my penis. After reading some of the posts on this forum it is somewhat comforting to know I'm not the only one suffering from this embarrassing condition. I just wish there was a way to permantly remove these hairs, plucking is so time consuming and only lasts for about a week and a half :(

I would stay away from electolysis on your penis. I tried it and it resulted in damaged hair follicles that needed to be excised becasue of infection. I'm plucking the hair on my penis and although it works, it's not pleasant and I am researching laser.

I burned mine off with a lighter with quick movements laying down on my back and that the lighter could be used back and forth quickly... I burned myself a'few times but the hair has never came back. Never.

hii, i have the same proublem having hair on my penis shaft..it;s f*****g weird. plz i would like to know if you have done laser therapy or not ?or if you have is there any side effects on penis, any burning or something?and for how long you did laser therapy?hope i hear from u soon..

Same thing is happening to me and this hair is growing day by day and also increasisng its number.This is very odd to me.If I want to pluck them I feel pain .I don't know what Should I do.

Pluck every hair so it will be smoother then shaving but will always grow back SO just take care of it when it becomes a problem for you

Don't worry man that's perfectly normal & every guy has it. Any woman who says they're warts or an STD has never seen a penis in her life so she wouldn't know warts or balls for that matter if they hit her in the face. I use a Mach 3 with a ton of shaving cream, soap, shampoo & anything else liquid-like the wife leaves in the shower. I do that around once a week (with obvious exceptions) & it keeps it respectable. With some patience & some practice, you can get it down to a science just the same as you do your face. A few people already mentioned the beard trimmers as a good alternative. I have a norelco I use between the Mach 3 sessions & it does wonders. Good luck gentlemen. May your balls be handsomely shorn & licked often.

I wasn't sure about that and decided to an experiment. I shaved half my chest and the half that I shaved came back with thicker more noticeable hair.
thankfully my wife doesn't care that I have a half furry and half mostly plain chest.
