scrotum cysts

OK I just want to thank all the previous posters for sharing their experience with these nasty cysts.  Im 35 and have had em for over ten years, lots of time thinking about getting rid of em.  I just went on living my life for the most part, though.  Have had many girlfriends who loved giving me head.  Twice I was asked about them and I just said they were harmless skin deposits.  If they decided that was gross to them, then so be it, but that never happened.  I don't have health ins. so doctors procedures were out of the question.  Most of these I've been able to pop or squeeze out over the years, but several have hardened and grown quite large.  Followed people's advise on cutting the sac out and voila!  It was pretty simple.  I don't mind pain too much and it didnt even really hurt.  I do have a weak stomach and the thought of cutting things out of my ball sac is/was quite disturbing.  I wanted them gone, though.  Exacto knife, tweezers, peroxide for disinfecting.  Round band aids and triple antibiotic ointment for treating afterwards.  It would be a good idea to confirm with a doctor that you have sebaceous cysts and not something else, but these are not that hard to get rid of.  I do feel for you guys who have massive amounts of these, but I would just do the big ones and take it slow.  Do a few at a time so it's easy to manage the wounds afterwards.

I've also done the needle method but with sterilized lancets meant for diabetics to prick themselves with to measure blood sugar.  You'll want a thick gauge or the holes you poke will be too tiny to do you much good.  Also this obviously takes a certain amount of tolerance for pain and a healthy amount of determination lol.  But with the fact that this process needs to be repeated over time to maintain effectiveness---sterilized lancets sound safer than sewing needles.  The fine tip also allows you to rip open the surface and remove the cyst whole.  Its actually easier at least for me to remove the cyst whole than to try to rip out the shell in pieces after its been drained.  Wow this sounds nasty lol.  Anyways poking the cysts can allow them to be squeezed (hard) out and drained to at least some degree reducing size.  But again if the shell remains then it will just grow back sometimes even bigger.  SO:  usuing the fine tip of the lancet I make an incision just on the surface and tear open enough of an opening to squeeze the whole cyst out being careful to keep it from bursting before I do so.  I usually have to use my finger nails to make the final cut underneath the cysts where it "rooted" so powerfully...Needless to say its quite painful, bloody and takes some nerve--I can usually only handle removing one in a single day physically and mentally---but its has kept mine fairly manageable and at least keep there from being and large obvious ones.  Also you get more used to the pain over time...

its sad but true, welcome to the shawol? end of the genetic-pool. gentics sucks. but they are the reason for our condation. (forgive spelling im a bit drunk and dislexicis)

 

Any way, heres the deal. Our bodies generaly produce to much oil. this clougs our skin purs. and the everyday normal bactirea that lives on everyones skin gets traps and begind to breed. Sometimes, depending on the infection, its a simple boil, or zit, a quick squezing and its gone.  other times, its so clouged its next to imposaible to drain. and squeezeing it make it even worse. and it grows.

 

because it so.. distrubing no one really talks about it. wemon are discusteded, men are embarsed. so no real research has been done. not that it help really.

 

If you really have this, your hosed. they keep comeing back. cut them, drain them, lance them, see a doctor. they keep happening.  if your lucky, you get the courage to begin lanceing them early before they screw you up so bad you got issue even aproching females. Docfprs cant really help cuz its genetic, your skins just to oilily most of the time. (or too dry, though oily seems to be the main factor.)

Odds are you get them all along your testicals, and thighs, maybe along your stomic, and up your back. As well as your neck and face, (though more often far more managable.)

How do i know? I've had 'growths' on my wedding tackle at least 1/2 my thumb.  large enough that when i finaly worked up the nerve to lance them my self. (docs wouldnt because they weren't infected.) its rubbery, cheeseish like wihte stuff was enough to coat my palm. If you get lucky, you manage to get that odd bit of skinish like sack. If you do, its gone almosy for ever. (sometimes you get the one growing next to it.)

it sucks. it lames. trying for a BJ is next to impposible. if your GF/WIFE gets a zit its 'YOURE' fault.

Nothing medical science can do. live with it. Try and lance them before they get to large, DONT SCRATCH, wash in abti-bac soap, vinger. they will come back. it sucks.

Nothing realy you can do. (lance them wrong and you've got a worse situation..)

believe me.. i wish i could say molre, something to give you hope. but i cant. I've lived with this scince i was a teen. in a lot of ways it screwed me up, mainly cuz i let it. its not contagious, except for your kids (unless one is draining, then it can be.) its a enitic gendiction. we're hosed. Docs will lane and cut, herbal docs will make youi bath in al;l kinds of stuff. But, its part of who you are. its a slight flaw in our skin. pour gets block, stuff gets traped.. bada big bada bang, cysts grows.

sucks to be use.

the only good news it is you start early, you can get them lanced, or lance them your self and keep your wedding tackle looking good engough for a.. public presantintion. if not.. well you'vew an intresting conversation before ou ask her to go down town.

bros, self surgery works.  i've had this marble sized f**ker for about 5 years now.  just started dating a chick i really dont want to scare away, so i just got rid of it 5 minutes ago.  my damn sack is still bleeding as i type this, but i wanted to thank all the bros out there who tried this on their own and posted the results.  

its not folliculitis. its a specific type of cyst. i got two on my scrotum right now. me and my girl always called nut nips, but i got my second and. it all startyed by mesing with white bumps that i thought were some kind of nut zit. DONT play with them. they grow. years pass, but they grow. i havent been able to get mine taken off, but, it is embarrassing. but it might be folliculitis. im in  massage school and was just learning bout that so, maybe i just didnt get a full view of it, but it sucks no matter.

 

hell yeah man, theyre nut nipples, and girls dig on sucking and biting them. glad im not the only one:)

my first was hard, but got over swelled, i guess, and over fiddled with, and i finally made it breach. i thought i was squeezing out wood glue. i was in a 5 day detox when it happened. a total mind rumble. but since then that one has been quiet and a little zit looking thing right at the base of that one got popped a few too many times and is now bigger than its couterpart.. im not a tweaker anymore. so i really am not looking foward to to scalpal. the needle really. but all of it. my nut nip turned into nut nips. not doing drugs anymore, i cant bring myself to cut into myself..... know what i mean? mine are the size of big'ole' peas. right next door to each other. but im done takin the blade to myself. I almost lost my leg to mrsa from a freakin spider bite on my foot that i scratched too much. I will not loose my junk over this. im only 27. but thanks for your story. i really thought i was all alone till i saw a porno with a dude that had one. i appreciate you bro.

i actually had surgery on my actual nut for a cyst on my epididimus. balls black and softball sized for weeks. im thanking the Lord that they are on the outside now.hahaha.. but no foolin... it SUCKED!!!!!!!! and i was in middle school!

I've just achieved what this individual did, Even though these cysts dont hurt or are harmful I wanted them out of my body. I felt compelled to jab at them with a needle. until now where I was casually going to town with the needle and for some reason I felt compelled to squeeze behind the cyst. the weakened skin broke and the smooth white cyst popped through. I remembered reading this post and came back to share my own experience. I was surprised and excited when it popped through. of course the wound bled a little bit but it stopped very quickly. 

I thought I'd share my experience as I'd been suffering with multiple cysts since my teens (now 35) and finally managed to remove the largest one that had been really been bothering me and was the size of a large pea at the top of my scrotum/base of penis so was more obvious if with a partner.  I'm so happy I've finally done it and will now get around to doing the others.  I had to psych myself up but it was actually pretty easy and totally pain free.

To do it, I used the following which are available in most pharmacies without a prescription but I used an online chemist to and it all came to about £4 total ($7) plus delivery and the knife (I'm based in the UK so not sure how freely these are available in other countries)

X-acto knife (bought from craft store)
Ametop cream (this is a numbing cream that totally de-sensitises the scrotum and you cannot feel a thing so ZERO pain)
Hydrogen peroxide solution
Isopropyl Wipes

What I did:

Put the Ametop cream on affected area and covered in clingfilm and left for about an hour as instructed.  This totally numbed the area so I could not feel a thing - literally nothing!!

Put the X-acto knife in the Hydrogen Peroxide for a couple of mins the sterilise it.

Cleaned the area with a Isoproyl wipe

Took the X-acto knife and kept gently cutting accross the cysts (I could not feel anything as numb) and kept doing this over and over until I cut though and could see the white of the cyst.  Then just squeezed and squeezed until it all came out using the Isopropyl wipe to mop up as i went.

Once done.  I used a final wipe to clear up and then put some Hydrogen Peroxide on with a cotton wool pad to kill and germs and applied a small plaster (band-aid)

I have to tell you the relief and happiness I felt after was immense and it really is a case of just being focused to get it done.  It was the second time I tried, the first time I did a month ago and it just felt so weird cutting myself and when a drew blood I just stopped.  However, the second time to day i just said 'I'm doing this and just really focused' - mind over matter and all that.

My advice:

Get a numbing cream like Ametop as there will be no pain
Hygiene - make sure you sterilise the area before and after and whatever you use to cut so you don't get an infection
If you can't do it the first time, don't worry I couldn't either.  Just find a way that works for you and keep trying.  The important thing is to remain focused and remember that a few minutes of feeling uncomfortable doing it yourself is better than years of suffering with this.

I'm the guy who posted the last post above and I thought I'd give you an update.

Its been almost two weeks since I removed the large cyst and its almost totally healed.  Its hard to see it was ever there to be honest except for the fact the area is still a little pink from healing and a very very fine line from the cut if I look very closely.

While it was healing, for the first few days I ensured I cleaned the wound twice a day and kept it covered but after that i went back to my usual routine with no special treatment for that area.

I've bought some more Ametop cream to do the rest of them now and its a huge relief to know I can successfully and painlessly remove them anytime should they ever occur again now (which they will).  I've also bought another numbing cream Emla to try to see if its as effective as its easier to store and last a lot longer, whereas Ametop has to be discarded after its opened.  Will let you know how that goes.

All it is are scrotal cysts they are not serious and they are common. I had roughly 14-15 on my scrotum ranging from small ones to one that got big as a pea if not a bit bigger went to urologist asked him to remove them week later went to hospital it was a 45 min operation they surgically remove them. Few weeks later all the small incisions are healed and everything is fine and dandy. Wish Ive done it sooner, my urologist told me that potential is there for it to come back but not in same space its basically the hair follicle that gets imagine stuffed and the pimple like substance just has no were to go. Do not force them out yourself or try ripping squeezing etc you will do more harm then good. Go see urologist or plastic surgeon or dermatologist which ever one is more convenient for you. 

Hey fellas, I have been scrotal cyst free for 6 yrs now, but I want to share my story... I had them since I was a teenager, I am now 39. I struggled with the embarrassment and depression for quite awhile, and tried to hide it from everyone. It was hard to do, because i played sports and was in the military and work as a firefighter, etc.. So ive showered with quite a few other men. And I get a firefighter physical once a year. And even those doctors say they never seen anything like it. I never once saw anther dude with cysts on their sack like i had. So I too thought I was alone, until I spoke to my dad about it in my mid 20s. Come to find out, he had them too. He had his urologist remove his when he got circumcised at age 50.. Anyways, in 2006 My wife and I decided it was time for a vasectomy. So.. I asked the urologist how common the cysts were and if he had seen them this bad. (I had a total of 32 cysts. 3 of them were almost as big as the end of my thumb). He told me they were quite common and that he could remove them at the same time as my vasectomy. Then he said I think maybe we will put you under instead of using a local anesthesia. So he did the vas, and cut 2 football shaped areas out of my scrotum and sewed it up. I haven't had any problems ever since. And I never have to worry about sitting on my nut sack, cause it like I got a free "sack lift" lol! Anyhow, I wanted to tell my story, because when I was growing up, I couldn't find anything about it in medical books or early google era Internet. It seemed as if I was a freak and was one of the only guys out there that had "grapenuts" (that's what one of my sorry ass ex-girlfriends called me once) I'm glad I found this forum and know that others out there have the same questions I had. Here's some advise from me... You can take it and use it, or choose to ignore me. Its fine either way. 1. If you have insurance, go see a professional! Go to the urologist and let him or her remove them. They will eventually come back even if you self surgery and it heals. 2. If you don't have ins. At least call a urologist and see how much an office visit is. Save the money just to have the doc take a look. Then try to save up for the procedure. They will let you know the cost. Or at least they may let you pay it out. 3. Don't use self surgery. You never know what type of infection or problems may occur. Believe me, I'm a paramedic and I've seen some nasty infections in the "down there area" I'm just saying I would pay the money for the peace of mind. 4. Once you get it done and it heals, do like I do all the time... Walk around naked in the house and be proud that weight of embarrassment and shame and depression is gone!! I'm sorry if I have offended anyone, but I really hope that my story will encourage at least one of you to go see a urologist and get the procedure done. I've felt you guys pain and understand what a burden it is. Good luck to you all! Oh yeah! One more thing, get checked and check yourselves for testicular cancer. It's important to catch it early, on account of 95%+ survival rate when you detect it early.

i have these awful cysts on my nuts too! i have had to explain to girls on a few occasions that they are not warts etc etc. one day i had had a bit to drink and one them was feeling a b***h itchy, so i got a razorblade sliced at it a few times and broke thru, squeezed all the white sh*t out, but i was left with saggy skin... i got a piece of cotton, tied a slipknot and basically strangled the skin for a few days til it turned black and used a pair of scissors to cut it off. ...
