I have the same thing. I just tried drinking some water and a cough drop and it wouldn't go away. Some comments just say its allergies and others say its symptoms of strep throat. Even though I have allergies it keeps happening. It happened 2 times today every time I breathe and I don't know why. Any other suggestions would be a good help.
I literally have the exact same thing as you. I woke up with fever chills headache everything weakness loss of appetite, vomiting. And on top of all that I have a lymph node that's swollen as well.
I seem to have the same thing everyone else did.

I have had a feeling in the right hand part of my throat, almost like a little needle poking there or a scratch.
I recently looked in the mirror with a flashlight and noticed a white bump on the right side of my throat.

I am going to the doctors tomorrow and will post what he/she says.

its just sore throat. i reccomend oregano oil or saltwater. it should go away soon. ive had this before nothing serious. nothing to worry about. also eat alot of vitamins and youll be good to go ☺
You have strep throat and I would get it checked at by a doctor
Try to use some lemon water (actual juice from an actual lemon) if that doesn't help, put some cujan pepper mix, and stirr it with some water and lemon juice and do some gargles to kill the bacteria... do that about twice a day (or as needed because only you know your body well. But be honest with it.) but see after a hour if it helps. If not try again. If that doesn't help, go see your doctor ASAP because you might have a serious infection that can perhaps be contagious. I've had this happen to me once before and it's happening again now. There's a sharp pain in the back of my throat that radiates under my tongue and up through my ear. The last time it happened I had a terrible sinus infection (I get them often since I have bad allergies and a deviated septum) and they just gave me that numbing Magic Mouthwash. Even if I swallow it it doesn't seem to reach the area where the pain is. I get tonsil stones as well (the little white things that get stuck in your tonsils), but even after poking around I can't find any. Drinking warm and cold drinks don't help, ibuprofen doesn't seem to help that much, and even Demerol didn't do anything! The only thing that helped me the last time this happened was a steroid shot - the next day I woke up and felt SO much better.
But this time I don't have a sinus infection, strep test came back negative, and I'm kind of a germaphobe so I don't drink or eat after people, so that most likely rules out mono. Only thing I can think to do is go to the ENT and get another steroid shot. This is the worst pain I've ever felt in my life and I just want it to go away!

You probably have tonsil stones..I do. They are awful and foul smelling...look up tonsil stones on YouTube and see if it's similar.
The white stuff is tonsil stones. Sounds like Strep and yes its contagious. You can take a qtip and gently poke the tonsil and the stones will come out.
As Mother's that is what we usually smell and know when our kids have strep. Nature's way of telling us. Gargle with salt water and it helps pull the infection out.
