Uncomfortable pressure under left rib cage

Im having annoying pressure on my lower left rib just had a hydi scan done and da 12th having a scope doneto look at my stomach but my sy stomach swells alot after i eat and i feel like i always have stuff stuck in my throat which makes me vomit im very miserable any answers

Ya, me too. I only feel it when I'm driving home from work. I've been dealing with it for 1 year. I'm 54 years old, so I feel concerned. Sounds as if your problem is not a serious threat to your health if you've had it for 10 years. I will provide information about my similar predicament if I ever see my doctor and find out what's going on.

I've had a great pressure under my left rib cage for about 3 years now. It's worse when I sleep. Has anyone found this?

I have been having same problem of a pressure feeling under, or right below, the left ribcage for about 5 years now. I'm a 42 year-old male. Not pain but a pressure or fullness feeling. Started only feeling it when I was driving or sitting, but now can feel it when standing as well. Any time I brought it to the attention of my doctor he never seemed to concerned with it. After 5 or so years of this, now I'm having regular left hip discomfort and pain with some pain in my lower left back as well, dont knowif this is connected in any way. Been doing stretches for my hip but the pressure under the rib cage has been constant. Had an MRI on the hip and lower back area a couple of weeks ago. 

Hi! I'm a 21 years old male who's having the same problems as you guys are having. I'm so worried and I really don't know what's happening. It started from August, as a short of breath kinda of symptoms, then slowly I had multiple visits to the hospital due to SOB. But I was told my lungs were clear, my heart rhythm is fine. But I'm no where convince from the docs cause they told me they had no idea. Now I'm having this pressures on my left rib and I can't seem to eat properly due to a feeling in my throat. Total constant happening= 3 months. Still nothing. If there's anyone out who knows what's happening, please reply me.

I have this feeling too, and suffer badly with anxiety but it does feel like sonething behind or pushing my bottom left rib, like if i bought my knees up to my chest i would squash my organs?! I have indigestion and a lump in my throat also, doctor has done bloods all normal, said lump in throat is acid reflux pocket and my rib cage and stomach feels fine. Really frustrating

Did the doctor ever any kind of scan or X-ray of the left rib cage area for you?.......none of the doctors I've seen (about 3 in all) have ever seemed concerned with the pressure/tightness I'm feeling my lower left rib cage area...that has been frustrating.

I had pleurecy about 6 months ago and still have problems with a dull ache under my right ribcgae. Ibuprofen does help.

your left rib or your bodys left rib? if over your stomach and you have throat issues could be classic acid reflux. Upper GI can resolve this question

PLEASE GO SEE A CHIROPRACTOR!!!! The symptoms you are describing, including the throat, are in line with pinched nerves along the spine.
