white chunks on tonsils

I have been experiencing a recurrence of white chunks on my tonsils. They often cause discomfort to me. Also their texture resembles the white part of a popcorn kernel. I wonder what those white chunks are caused by. Do they maybe indicate some serious illness?

It is a food intolerance problem, of at least it was for me. I had recurring severe tonsillitis for 20 years and had a quinsy at 25. I was booked into have my tonsils removed. A nurse told me about the Dr Coco pulse test to identify food that I might be intolerant to, so while I was on the waiting list, I did the elimination diet and test. I got rid of my tonsillitis when I stopped eating dairy. I got rid of my migraines pretty much by avoiding all things with free glutamates like soy, tomatoes, mushrooms, grape juice, msg etc. I've still got my tonsils. I never get tonsil stones any more as I don't eat those problematic foods. I'm 58 now.

I just did this today and could NOT believe how well it worked! I've been picking these stones out with q-tips and whatnot for years, 1 to 3 at a time. BUT when I hit it with the water pick, nearly 15-20 stones shot out immediately! SO MUCH BETTER!

What reason? Why are they there?

This is SO accurate! I used to get these tonsil stones all the time before I cut MSG it of my diet. Now they have stopped completely.
