Coconut oil works great! Also try this. Get a ketchup type applicator at the grocery store in the utensil section. Holds about a cup and a half. Put about 1/8 teaspoon of Epsom salt in it and add water. Every time you pee, carefully squirt yourself off with this portable bidea. Careful not to let it dribble on your pants. Then gently dab it dry a couple of times and apply coconut with a couple sheets of paper. The Epsom salt doesn't burn me, somehow neutralizes the pee and the coconut oil helps keep the pee off the splits. Tea Tree should not be applied to mucus membranes, especially strait up.

This is lichen sclerosis
just because they're always in the same places, have you had a blood test for HSV 1 and 2 (IgG test for herpes) to rule that out?
Hi I have this problem too one side of my outer labia I have a split or crack in the skin and its agony. I have been Manuka honey on it - just put a thick layer on the split and after 48 hours you feel some major relief as it is the healing honey that heals most things to do with the skin- put it on at night & shower off in morning or you will sticky thru the day within 6 days it's gone.
I have had this problem for years, and up until now I always blamed soap. I have had to change my soap several times over the years. I was recently on antibiotics and it came back, but worse than ever. Coincidentally, I had gone to an acupuncturist and he looked at my tongue and asked me if I had any problems with yeast infections. He explained hot and cold environments and he treated me that day to try to move heat and fluid away from that area (and please forgive me if I'm screwing up the facts here). Regardless, it got better. He also gave me a Chinese herb that helped with energy levels and also worked to balance my blood and fluid levels. It felt better for a while but the day after I ran out of the herb it came back. I saw him yesterday and started the herb again. My opinion is that it is a yeast imbalance. I made an appointment with my OBGYN just so she can at least lay eyes on it, for the time being I'm using witch hazel (which burns for a second) but then numbs, soothes and has great antibacterial healing properties. I'm also using neosporin, and I do have coconut oil and will try that tonight. I am slightly relieved to know I'm not the only woman with this issue. I am 42 and have had this for a least 15 years, off and on. Always chalking it up to, "I am very sensitive down there and can't use certain soaps." But now I honestly think it a yeast imbalance, because it doesn't manifest entirely and exactly like a yeast infection does, which makes it annoying to figure out.
Good luck ladies and I'll update if I get any news from my OBGYN that it is something else. ;-)

My daughter has had the same problem for a while. She is only 18. Bloodwork was done and she was diagnosed with Sjögren's syndrome. The lady that first asked about this was already diagnosed with Sjögren's. What was happening to her is part of having Sjögren's.
I have/had dermatitis / psoriasis and when I cut out daily, alcohol, and gluten from my diet - it cleared up significantly enough for me to steer clear of these things 95% of the time. I suggest trying it!
Could still be an STD.. Get checked not everyones loyal. Currently in the hospital with my friend for herpes and her boyfriend was loyal as well.. 2 years
I agree with Laura.
It's all irritation from wearing pads . I noticed it always happens to me once I wear pads especially if your underwear is tight it make it irritate your skin just use some cream and it goes away
