THC is a toxin of the nerves that stays in your body for 20 days. The half-life is 10 days. Marijuana has a lot of substances in it. Some cannabinoids are sedative and anti-psychotics but THC attacks the nerves all over your body so it makes you more stressed when you keep smoking and you smoke to relax (the other cannabinois relax) but hours later you are more nervous, with a lot of muscle tension and emotional tension. So more you smoke more stressed, lethargic and anxious you become. At some point you sit in a chair and it´s hard to maintain a posture, the aches are common.
And when going through withdrawal the aches and tension are worse but they do go away with time if you stop smoking.
And that´s what i think you should do....don´t waste years like me smoking this sh*t.

David, You ARE a medical encyclopedia!  I am very impressed.  Best wishes on your career goals.  It is definitely worth staying alive to help others like I know you will.  Don't give up!

Here is the main website that references the research I talked about.  This research is the same one that used the "cannibinoid blocker" medication.

Here is the research:  Science Daily

Here is the link to the medication: Riminobant

You asked about my symptoms.  I've listed them chronologically.  My pain started 3 years ago.

1.  The Main Symptom that has persisted almost the entire time:  Left-side back pain by my spine between my shoulder blades.  Sometimes the pain is burning, sometimes sore, the intensity changes as well.  Sometimes it is gone for days and then will reappear, even with no MJ use at all.
2.  Left-side chest pain, including heart pain, heart palpitations.  This one is worse a day or so after using.  Sometimes I don't have it at all.
3.  Muscle twitching inside left thigh.  Doesn't hurt, but just twitches for long periods of time.  Twitching occurs throughout my body at times, but the left inside thigh is consistent.
4.  Morton's Neuroma:  Left foot.
5.  Costochondritis:  Pain between ribs.  Mostly left-side, but can happen on both sides.
6.  Tinnitus
7.  Left-side headaches and headaches at the base of my skull.
8.  Stomach pain
9.  Lump in throat that lasted for 3 months
10.  Back pain moved to the mid-back after about a year.  Mostly left-side.  This lasted for about 18 months.  It felt like an awful cramp that would not go away.  This is the reason my doc thought I had pancreatic cancer.  I also had a lot of foul-smelling and oily stool at the same time.  If you remember my point about the mixed signals with the pain receptors, I also found out that the pancreas has cannabinoid receptors in it.  I'm guessing this is what happened.  All tests were normal, despite the pain and other symptoms.  I still have this pain occasionally, but the pain has settled in my lungs now.
11.  YES, THE PAIN DOES ROAM!  Within a couple of hours, it will move to different parts of my body.  It makes me feel like I'm possessed by a demon or have little worms crawling through my body.  When it moves, I can tell because many times the area it moves to will get very warm along with the pain.  When it moves, it mostly moves to my low back.
12.  The latest area of pain has been my lungs and respiratory system.  The other night, my lungs felt almost normal again for about an hour and the pain/heat ALL MOVED TO MY HEAD!!!  My sinuses were so painful and swollen I could barely keep my eyes open because it hurt so much.  The pain moved within the span of 15-20 minutes.  It stayed in my sinuses for about a day and then moved back to my lungs.
13.  Overall, chest pain, all the way to my shoulders.  Tingling, burning.
14.  Another symptom that has NOT GONE AWAY since the beginning is FATIGUE.  I used to run 60 miles per week.  Cannot exercise at all anymore.
15.  Also, I get terrible trigger points in my back and on my arms below my elbows.
16.  Over the summer, I also developed pain in my thumb joints and big toe joints along with swollen hands.  The swelling only lasts a day or so and the pain in the joints has gone away pretty quickly.  I was tested for Rheumatoid Arthritis and other Autoimmune Diseases.  All negative.
17.  Oh yeah, I would also get sores in my mouth after using MJ a couple of days in a row.  Like I said, I rarely used this often, but the few times I did, I would automatically develop sores in my mouth.
18.  During the "pancreas phase", I lost 17 pounds in 2 months, from 155 to 138.  I've since gained it back as the pain moved.

Oh yeah, I CANNOT drink alcohol anymore.  If I have one beer, I feel like I've drank a six pack.  About 4 months ago, I took a risk and drank 4 glasses of wine over a 3 hour period.  Afterward, I was in bed and would not move a muscle for 24 hours afterward.  Vomited 7 times in those 24 hours.

This drinking example taps into the fact that RECOVERY from anything TAKES FOREVER.  If I were to do push-ups, it would take 3-4 weeks to feel normal again.  Wounds take a very long time to heal as well.  If I do not get enough sleep one night, my entire week is ruined now.  I MUST get 7 hours of sleep or I am so depressed and tired the rest of the week.

Terrible depressive symptoms and anxiety at times.  Much worse than I ever experienced before I started using.

Sorry, as I write this, I start feeling like a freak again. I can't believe this has happened to me.  I used to be so normal.  Not anymore.

Thanks for listening,
Ben

Ben...
my dear man!!

i have never seen someone mirror my symptoms so perfectly before!!
so pefectly... its... eery...

its like watching everything that happened to me all over again!
one of the only differnces i can decipher is that mine happened in a much faster
way in the acute period for just a couple of weeks and tapering off over
2 more months to be left with slowly dwindling but stil major symptoms

so ill run through the list
1. the shoulder blade pain.. i dont have it anymore but i remeber now taht
that was the first thing that happneded to me even before the pain in the
front left side of my chest or the pain in my spleen or (pancreas?).
I had several senstations there. I feel that it is connected
to the heart and the lung area, possible the pericardium.

2. yes yes heart pain, palpatations, if i smoked some marijuana right now
my heart would probably be up around 200 bpm, i dont know if its cause im young
but i somehow survived all those experinces. one thing to note is this
i rember when i was around 11 years old i had my first heart palpation
so it wasnt completley new, i was always a skinnny kid who got sick too much
and was never too athletic, but when i was 11 i had this THING happen
to me where i had heart palpations and i would feel like there were these
little ...bubbles? in my veins and in the center of my legs and the other thing
was i would get these sharp pricking pains out of nowhere seemingly coming from
the inside, ah and also ive always had very strong instestinal pains that comes in bursts
and feels VERY sharp but isnt all in all so bad. it made me super scared and i never told
anyone and they eventually went away, forgotten for years.
Also in my acute progressive phase what happened was all these things pains soreness
inablity to swallow or breath intestinal disturbance, extrem insomina, and all that
blather, but i felt it was mainly concentrated on the chest area, it started off
in the left lung and i thought thank god its just on the left side, then i felt
the creeping weaknes move to the right side and all the degeneration and pain
as it spread i started to realize that i was dying, but i just wanted to note
how at FIRST it was in the left side only but then it went to the right side until
both sides of my chest were extrmely symptomatic.

3. I get SO many muscle twitches, accompanied my micropokes or micro-pains, i still
get them, my main symptoms now are chronic fatigue lack of healing, thes micro twitches/
pains, random palpatations, feelings of gneral uncomfortablity, intolerance to heat and cold,
and a painful intestinal system. i can get the pains anywhre, its been so long since ive had
them that i just think they are normal but im amazed by the fact that if i just
think and listen to my body right now i can multiples of them coming and going
like a little parade in my body there they feel like mini spasms and muscle sorness
and i have no twitching right now but i can feel pains everywher of differnt brands
i feel one in my upper spine right now the lower spine the skin over my stomach
my right thumb my left eybrow my left shoulder blade, now my left eylid is twitching
in a strange way, several twitches in my right hand between the index and middle finger
i can keep going on and on on and literally forever LOL.
Alot of the time a pain will start as heat that is the worst kind when its hot.
Another thing to note is when i get sick i get SUPER DUPER SICK in a strange way
like ill get this inflamation that hurs super bad and makes me feel like im
literaly paralzyed and hot and cant move at all and i get this pain surround my lungs
and heart which then gets "channeled" almost as if to relive the pressure there to my
bones and spine, to the ponit where the pain in my heart is now more intesnely efect my spine
to the point whre its just debliating spinal pain. (this pain when sick is usualy hot)

4.i dont have anything of the kind

5. ahh yes, brings me back to the good ol days. i remeber taht last time i smoked
marijauan the pain in my ribs was soooo intense. that expericne i wish could
be saved in some library of the mind somewhere or somthing because it is
BEYOND WORDS what i experinced that day, i dont know, i lterlay dont know if
anyone has ever even imagined an expericne like that on the face of the earth
right now, i cant even explain how i felt the insides of my body melting
before my eyes, and how i felt it melting the ribs and the cartilage between them
and how it moved up to my head and i started to become blind. it was amazing
it is sickiningly fascinating i never knew anything of the sort was possible ever
it was so painful like... i would have rather burnt my face on a stove literaly
than go thru that again, it lasted for hours...

6. yes tinnitus is another symptom we share.

7. i have had my variety of head aches. i dont know wether its good or bad
that most of your symptoms seem to be confined to the left side of your body...

8. i remeber that spleen/pancreas incidnet i had one of the first times it felt
like it had been torn open or something so something goin on there for sure..

9.when this first started i had an incredibly hard time swallowing and breathing
when my stomach was ful and it felt exactly like that i had a lump in my throat
it also had the sensation like when i drank cold water or even lukewarm water
i felt cold liquid running down my throt and it gave the (illusion?) that
lquid literaly was runnig out of my esaphogus and into my organs like left
or right or something it would deviate exremley ,was extrmely strange and
lucid feeling.

10.i have had some pret bad cramps in the area of my kidneys but yeah cb receptors
are prety much EVERYWHERE in your body

11.im amazed by how simliar our symptoms are!, i feel just the same as you
explained it, however i dont have any special attentions towards my lowerback

12.it sucks to hear that you sound like yoiu are still in the acute phase of your
illness, i hate when the inflamtion moves the my head,  ***this post is edited by moderator *** *** web addresses not allowed***

there are alot of people there who experience similar symptoms.

13.i think ive explained myself here

14.yes fatigue, supmreme faituge, it strikes me that 60 miles a week is a LOT
at least to me, i used to be work out maybe a little too hard too and i was
in super shape lifting weights but now i cant no more, i remeber back in the eraly
days a coulpe weeks after i got sick i tried to squat my old 200 i couldnt do it
not even once, i tried 100 i couldnt do it not even once i could only squat like
50 pounds lol!! same with me about not being able to exercise or else ill get
SUPER DUPER f*****g SORE, my recovery from EVERYTHING like you said has become
very dimisnished, like seriously if i do too many pushups i would be sore for lik an
entire motnh and id GET WEAKER TOO, i guess moderation is the kye, ive finally
gotten back to good enough health where 70% of my symptoms are gone and i can
(thank god) work out again! yayyyy, i can do pushups and everything now!! :p

15.im not sure that i get any triger points per say, but sometimes
if i press somewehre it will make other parts of my body twitch
i remeber when i was high one of those last two times i SWEAR i felt like some
kind of sysstem in my body i felt like it was all connected somehow like the pain
would communicate with itself and inteligently move around somewhow, but maybe
i was justhigh haha. no really.

16. joint pain could be a sign of lymes disease, thank god i dont have very much
joint pain just weaker and poppier joints.

17. i dont realy get those but i do get these wierd little bubles that form under
my tongue and also when it first started hapening i swear i got NEW freckles like
i became dotted with all thes lil brown spots on my skin in places, it was wierd
this would also be indactivate of some kind of protozoan, viral, fungal or bacterial
infection.

18.in my most acute phase of 2 weeks i lost 20 pounds in that time period
it was insane. my parents kept telling me i was crazy and that i looked the same
and that id "always been skinny"but obviously my parents are idiots
ill tell them to argue with a f*****g machine.

(19? lol). yup yup all familar stuff lol drugs effect me like WAY more now
im soo sensitive, but i can drink again now, just not alot, extreme sensitivity
to alchool could be indacitivate of liver problems, but my liver always tseted
out fine,

yeah i feel really bad that your recovery is so bad, i feel that it is a symptom
of an overtaxed body with too manny inflmaitory protein degrading proteins in your
body.

ovcourse i am depresed and have emotional inssues now as well, but that is to be
expected when your sick and dying, and you have a citys worth of inflamitory
cytokines floating into your nervous system teling it to make you feel sick, depressed
and anxiouis. (why the body does this i dont know lol but its true)

a couple other symptoms i have is i used to have my sex drive shut down
and i stil get realy bad acne worse than it was before.

yup yup get over it, it used to freak me out that this sh*t happended to me, but
once you accept death and accept this as a chalenge you will find that normality
is nothing but another restriction holding you and everyone around you back
from being the truly amazing indiviulas that they realy are

soo... now that im done writing that i realize just HOW similar our symptoms are
i get dibs on the syndrome name LOLLOLOLOLOLOLOL

thanks for the link to the riminobant thing, do you have anything that states
riminobant RELIVEING pain???

i.. think there was a couple things i forgot to write but.. i cant remeber right now
curse this sickness induced brain fog ofcourse.

i think you should check out the buteyko method of breathing it has helped me
ALOT.
Hold out buddy, you arent at the end of the line yet, your family hasnt left you
at least you have that on me lol! thre is a light at the end of the tunnel!
okay maybe bad phrasing of worsd there LOL jkjk take it easy were gonna get this
taken care of.

cheers, till next time

I have been learning more about the buteyko method. It makes a lot of sense and I've tried some of the techniques. So far so good!

You mentioned sickness induced brain fog in your post. Brain fog is right! That is one of the worst symptoms and I forgot to mention it.

As far as the Riminobant drug relieving pain, my understanding of the article I sent you is that the research subjects were given this type of medication to stop their pain. If you read it differently, let me know.

Thanks,
Ben

thats pretty cool, try to increase your vitamn d thru sunbathing, take a multivitam and drink more water if you can help it too.

Yup brain fog is another one of those classical symptoms of inflamatory prcoessses. It doesnt always indiciate a brain prolbem, but it could be.

Ah yes thats right sorry about the confusion i must of been confusing with the other arrtic le you posted, yes i agree with you. that is very intersting and could possibly help me/us.

so about the possible casues and treatments of this problem, i dont know how much i went over in my last post, but i woiuld like to divide the problem into several possibliteies, it could either be some kind of misfiring of pain receptors due to the effcts of thc on the pain receptors and nervous/endocrine system, it coudl be some genetic disorder relased by the continuous multi-pronged attack of marijuana on your system, it could be parasites, it could be a virus or some pathogen that was released in the nerves and brain because of the constant immunosuppresive effects of marijauan that cuases inflamation and misfiring of your nerves, or it could be general inflamation caused by your body getting rid of now overgrown pathogens all over your body that were allowed to spread during your marijaua usage, or it could be some other problem exaberbated by the multipronged effects of marijuana that is either continued by toxins malnutrition stress lack of execise genetic malfunction or pathogens or it could be that the constant mind warping effects of marijuana changed how you think, disregulating normal patterns of dealingn with stress therefore cuasing you to get sick(this theory relies ont he idea that your mind grealty effects the body, which is true)

as how to fix it, its pretty simple, to get rid of toxins remove the source, and start some simple chelation and with maybe some fasting as well, get exericse nutrion and remove stress, it coudl be some kind of cb antagonist, and you should do an anti-pathogen protocl which is probaly the most likey source of teh problem, as in my opinion 90% of diseases are caused by hidden or not-so-hidden pathogerns.
this would be composed of several alternative and traditional antivirals antifungals antibacterials and antiparasitics choosing ovcourse the best ones that have the least side effects or toxicity and teh best pathogen killing power.
and also maybe some side protocols like activation of the vdr and increasing co2 levels along with oxygen levels. ui would higlhy recomend getting into some kinds of meditation or qigong as well, as that is what honestly has helped me the most so far, amazingly, more than vitamins, anti-stress, supplements, exercise, or anything.

so if you want more information on this stuff, hit me up and ill let you know.
the reason im not cured yet is simply because i dont even have a few hundred dollars to buy the things i think would most likley cure me 95%

cheers,
David

David,

Thanks for the advice. Part of the treatment regimen you mentioned I am unfamiliar with. I am currently detoxing using a cleansing system and I'm also using the Bugwig Protocol. It is supposed to oxygenate the cells through a combination of flax oil and cottage cheese. Weird, I know. I've researched it and it has been used as an alternative treatment for cancer and other ailments for 50 years. Apparently, the combination makes the omega-3 fats water soluble and allows them to penetrate the body's organs much more quickly and effectively. We'll see.

In terms of meditation, I used to meditate daily, but have had to stop because focusing on my breath is too difficult right now with all my breathing problems. I've tried focusing on other things, but the breathing is such a distraction.

Any more specific information you can pass along regarding the anti-pathogen protocol would be helpful. Thanks!

You obviously should have many questions, Ill answer them the best I can, Ive heard the Budwig Protocol and tried it myself, but probably not for long or instense enough, there are literally hundreds of protocols just like the Budwig protocol that have been curing incurable diseases for decades.

Another thing that can help oxygenate you is simple baking soda, drinking maybe a teaspoon a day, warning though it is very high in sodium, so drink more water and eat potassium and magnesium.

There are probably hundreds of tips I could give you to be healthier in general, but eliminating pathogens and oxygenating the body is the number one priority.

I have my own unique techniqes of what some people refer to as meditation and it goes much more than just the western idea of “following the breath”

Like I said anyone who wants more information how to eliminate their disesase should contact me at my email, (which hopefully wont be eliminated from this post)

Wow this is interesting to know I'm not alone with this. When i was a teenager i use to smoke all the time about everyday. My parents grew it so i know it wasn't laced or anything like that. I was then diagnosed with scoliosis. Shortly after they had me in a back brace. A couple days after being in that awful thing i went to smoke as usual and about 15 minutes after i have a weird sharp very intense pain in my back. it freaked me out then it went away and about a min later came back this time i started having muscle spasms. the pain was more than i could bare so i got home as fast as i could and had my mom take me to the emergency room. i told the doc what had happened told him i had smoked. he didn't know what it was said it must have been bad weed. it all went away about 2 hours later. About two weeks later i tried a couple hits just to see if it was that one time, and it started to happen again. So i quit. I even tried a couple times since then over the years and its the same. Almost seems like its in my head. but I've just quit all together its been over 12 years since that. i think its been for the better too.
Reply
i have those exact same symptoms after i smoke, esp. the lower back pain.  i feel muscles tightening up now actually, and my back feels like it needs to be popped.  i've had the tremors real bad as well, and a pounding heart.  ended up in the ER lol.

Same problem here.

I have researched this for some time now and  after reading what people were describing and some testing I have significant evidence to say this.

People that say it is poor posture or in your head are SO painfully wrong.

It is a common problem.

Some people can, and do, become allergic to some of the of chemicals known to be in marijuana.

(particularly Delta-9 THC)

It is a developed allergic reaction and if you have it, you know its no fun.

If you have experienced back pain, stiff neck, neck pain, chest pain under the rib cage, a fluttering feeling in the chest, mussel spasms or twitching than you are allergic to marijuana and I would strongly advice discontinuing the use of marijuana.

The symptoms will continue for weeks or more due to the long half life of Delta-9 THC but will subside compleatly after about a month.

Some have suggested that switching to a different strain may help but I have found no evidence to support that claim. It is evident that it is an allergic reaction to Delta-9 THC and since Delta-9 THC is the main active chemical in marijuana it will not matter what strain of marijuana you use.

And yes, this is unfortunate news for people that use it for legitimate medical problems as I used to.

Reply
Allergic reaction sounds about right.  Unfortunately, I think permanent physical damage can be done.  I haven't touched mj in over 3 months and still have symptoms.

Ben
Reply
Allergic reaction huh? sounds hopeful except alot of the symptoms dont match what is normally considers an allerigc reaction such as rashes hives tightening of the airways (we inhale it right) and the fact that allergies pass this doesnt, i cant see how the (allergy) damage could be THAT permanent, unless it was localized to the neuro-synapse level, which is far-fetched.

care to label some convincing sources?

however, i thank you for your input, it is a decent idea, but not the only possible thoery.

ben, im dissipointed on your obvoious lack of faith in my theories and lack of following up with me, you should take this matter more seriously.
Reply

There is simply not enough research or information at this time to exactly explain this.

Anyway you look at it, any cause, any reason, if you have these symptoms you will get to the point where it will be too painful to continue to use marijuana.

One thing is certain, there is no known cure.

Banderson, if you sill have it after 3 month you probity still have it in your system.

look at the half life of Delta-9, add up every time you smoked more than once a day, times that by 4, then subtract 1 for every 4 days you went without smoking. this number will be ABOUT the number of day until your system is rid of THC.

i.e. If one was to use one or twice a day 5 out of 7 days a week for a month it would look like this:

22 x 4 = 88

88 - 8 = 80

So approximately one month of moderate use will take about 80 days (or 2.6 months) for the THC to leave your system.

At this rate you are taking in over double what your body can get rid of.

A few month ago I started to smoke a few hits a night before bed for about a month. it took me almost 2 months to feel better.

Side note, I am 40 now. but In the past I smoke everyday from 16 to 20 years old.

I had no problems before, the symptoms just started.

every one I have talked to has the same sysmptoms.

This is why an acquired allergic reaction is the most fitting diagnosis.

Allegories do not always present with itching or rash.

They can present with just about any symptom.

I have not performed the scratch test, but you could try.

Just scratch up your inner fore-arm (within reason) and rub vigorously with some buds and let me know what happens.

I would do this on myself but I am just starting to feel better and DO NOT want to go through all that again.

I will present this to the bored and talk with some of my colleagues and see if the university would be interested in a study.

If I get a green light from the board, and if I can get funded, perhaps I may start a study on this.

I am expecting it will be unlikely.

i've heard it can be caused by weed that is too wet
