In order to help other women so they will not be stressed out over their menstrual cycle, go to this website and complete the form. It will be forwarded to the Food and Drug Administration, the Center for Disease Control, and the drug manufacturer. The sooner we do this, the sooner it will be listed as a side effect.

Ok so, I got this shot 3 days ago, now I've started spotting, I NEVER SPOT. My period ended roughly 9 days ago; is this a side effect?

well, my first two shots didn't cause any abnormal period side effects...my third shot however was 15 days ago, and happened to be on the morning i was expecting my period...now its nearly 16 days later and there is no sign of my period...there is a possibility i could've gotten pregnant, so i took 2 tests one today and one 5 days ago- both negative...i'm assuming that it has to be because i got the 3rd shot right when i was expecting my period and that messed me up...although i've also been told i could be pregnant and getting false negatives...which i would prefer not to be!

its very relieving to find this post. My period usually comes around the 28th day, but today's day 34 and still nothing. It's Monday and i got my gardasil shot on Wednesday. I took 2 pregnancy tests and both came out negative. i'm sexually active and always use a condom. I freaked out because accidents do happen. I really hope i'm not pregnant.

Ladies I am so happy to find this forum. I have a very reg cycle, had my first gardisil shot on the 25th, and my period was due 4 days ago. My breasts are sore and swollen - as they normally are when my period is comming, but i read this is also a sign of pregnancy - even though being pregnant would be unlikely for me. I have been stressing the last few days alot which many of you pointed out this doesn't help. I will do a test but its very unlikely - but I'm still very scared!!!

I hope that this will be noted as a side effect for the vaccine - at least it will stop alot of stress for women who's period or other problems have happened as a result. I know doctors can only give information to patients about what they know as possible, but they really should keep up to date with 'word of mouth' which in this case is proven to be very true.

For all of you worrying, i heard saying 'i now release the anxiety of being pregnant and welcome the flow of blood to my body' helps. Sounds a little strange but positive thinking is a very good thing.

I've found all of your comments very honest, helpfull and reasuring. I will defantly be using this site for health issues from now on. I wish all the best for you

I am so relieved that there are other women having the same problem with the HPV shot. I had my first HPV shot March 17 and it was weird what happened after...my period was due that same week and it came early but was only like a day long when it is usually three days and I take birth control. I was due for my period this month (April) around the 14-19, but it never came. I was so freaked out. I didn't have sex from my last period to this April so it didn't make sense. I took three pregnancies test on different days and they all came out negative. Talk about super paranoid. They should really tell you that this could happen because I didn't hear or read about this on the leaflet they gave me. I mean if they don't tell us about that what if it effects other things we don't know about. I think the best thing is to keep positive like the previous posts said cause the stress can't be helpful. I've been exercising to try to get rid of my stress and it's helping me lose weight too. Hope we all get our periods soon.

Thank goodness for this website. I should have had my period two weeks ago and am still looking for it. I'm not experienceing any period symptoms either such as sore breasts or cramps. I KNOW i'm not pg, since I have no boyfriend or have had any sex recently.

I feel relieved that others have the same questions.

:-( I'm so annoyed right now. I wrote before about how I stopped having my period from the HPV shot and took a bunch of pregnancy tests. I have my second HPV on May 8th and was suppose to get my period last week and still nothing. This is two months now and it is starting to really freak me out. I just hope my body is handling things okay.

Im 15 (got the first shot when iwas 14, about two months ago). The first one hurt like a mofo, but it got better within the first day. I got the second one a week ago (when i was due for my period) and I still havnt gotten it. I am NOT sexualy active. So, I guess it is just the shot. Im not complaining though :p
Just wanted to make sure something wasn't wrong, because my arm is still KILLING me.

So I got my first HPV shot about a month ago. My period is very all over the place, and it's never been really "regular". According to last month, I should be getting my period any day now, but have had few to little symptoms of getting it. As I read everything that you guys said I started to feel a lot better. I've had sex 2 times this month, both protected. Do you think that the medicine is making me late? It seems likely. =/

Hi girls. Im 22 and had my 2nd Gardasil vaccine 4 weeks ago. My period was due 3 weeks ago and it seems to have gone!? Ive had cold like symptoms from about 2 hrs after injection and im still blowing my nose like there no tomorrow, constantly tired, my breasts are aching (like pre-period), dull cramps (as if I have period) and all my muscles are sore(like i've run a marathon!). I was really worried when my period was a few days late as it comes EVERY month on the 29ths without fail. Ive taken two preg tests, both negative but im still worried that a injection can do this to my body. Im really interested in the side effects lots of girls seem to be having with this. My little sister who is 14 has had her 1st and 2nd gardasil. Both times within 1.5 hrs she passed out, was dizzy and was throwing up. Last week was that bad she got admitted to the hospital as she couldnt keep water down etc. I was really p*ssed with the hospital as they didnt do scans etc on her. THey just had her IVd for two days while she was still throwing up and complaining of severe abdomen pain. Jo's ok now, thank god but im really worried that this vaccine is causing mass side effects that they are only publishing now.

We didnt get a booklet etc prior to receiving this vaccine (which worries me too). Im planning to go back to the DRs next week as my period is due in a weeks time. I hope it comes :-(

Hope you ladies are feeling better. I'll keep you in my thoughts as I blow my nose! XD

I went for my 3rd gardasil vaccine just yesterday and I got nervous when the doctor and nurses kept asking me if I was pregnant. I said no but when I got home I took a test and it shocked both my husband and I to find the test positive! Now I'm nervous about having the shot while pregnant... The doctor assures me that the risk is incredibly minimal- if at all. He said the company just have to cover themselves by not recommending it to pregnant women.
