As a 14 year old who loves food it's really hard for me to lose weight too. my family wont buy diet food , hey i guess we have something in colmin, anyways my advise to you is to stay postitive, watch your cals, and eat throuout the day... starving dosent work. Good luck :)

Hey, I'm 14 i weigh 6 and a half stones, which is around 90 pounds. you may think that's not alot, but i feel asthough i eat alot. And if i carry on the way i'm eating, by the age of 16 i will be humongus!At the moment i am tryring to loose about half a stone, to become 6 stones exaclty. i have really big portion sizes, and want to cut down on my carbs. Each night i do 75 sit ups, 2 minutes of planking, 2 minutes of non stop boxing, and 20 minutes of dancing hardcore. i want to loose weight on my stomach mainly. However it's really hard when your mum buys chocolate spread and biscuits and all other junk foods. Most times i give in. Do you have any tips on resisting that Temptation.

P.S for anyone like me who wants to loose wieght Go For It!! In the future you can prove to all them bullys you are good enough as everyone eles. Don't Let No one Stop You. Keep Your Head Held High!! x

well if you wear a sweater while sweating it will help your water fat evaporate and you will become more slimer

If u want to loose weight faster try to stay away from orange juice and salad dressing because they can turn to bad sugar. However if you want to make a long term commitment to eating healthy you should moderate and have a little salad dressing or orange juice to help you get through your diet. I recommend not keeping your diet on the weekends because it is too hard. You should also exercise while you are on your diet. I hope that this is helpful!

you dont need to lose weight. you weigh a good amount. if you lose anymore weight you might become unhealthy.

I am also 14 years old. My mom told me to weigh myself and i am 175 pounds and almost 5 foot 9. my BMI is just past 25 which means im getting overweight. ***this post is edited by moderator *** *** web addresses not allowed***

I want to lose it before high school, or at least start to. if you found any ways that helped you when you wrote this please help. i dont feel fat but the numbers dont lie.

Im 14 also. i weigh 140lbs im 5'2 i think this honeslty sucks! i hate it . i try to move around as much as i can i do sit ups at night till i sweat then my stomach gets sore for a while. i KNOW if my mom helps me lose weight i CAN do it. but our family never buys healthy foods. i can probaly even do it on my own i just dont understand all the calories & stuff like that. i think i need more confidence or someone there to help me lose the weight or i cant do it. any suggestions?

Hey guys I'm 14 too:) I'm on a diet at the moment but with my friend It's way easier when you have a friend to help you! We started by doing more exersise not only it makes you lose weight Ou become fitter to! We then stopped snacking! This helped loads, we stuck to 3 Maybe 4 meals a day no snacks imbertween! Eat healthy meals to and Cut down the portions! I've lost about 4pounds in te last weeks! My advise to you is stick at it:) Good luck!

i am 14 years old to 5'6'' and 115 yeah its gross i was called fat by 2 people in one week people were saying they were just kidding but yeah right i feel myself getting heavier i need help! Any ideas?

i am a 14 year old, and 12 year olds you shouldn't be worrying about weight honestly. but start running-swimming-cycling it builds up the muscles and makes your balance better. don't change your diet cuz that will through your body right of balance. don't chuck all fatty foods out cuz you need that for energy. just eat little of it. DRINK WATER. if you are drinking other than water well there is no point. do sport and light exercise. don't over do it :D good luck :D
