10 minutes of each day to exercise (or less)
ok so this is how you do it. Stop eating carbs. completely. You don't need them at all. Why?
Carbs provide your body with energy. They're good! but, when you eat too much of them, the excess energy is stored as fat. Why does not eating carbs help? Simply because when you don't get that energy, your body takes the stored energy and uses that instead. So like I said, NO CARBS at all. Not even whole wheat, its still carbs.
Thats step one, and I think thats the hardest part... up until two weeks later, then it's just habit. Step two is writing everything down that you eat every day. Separate by [breakfast, lunch dinner]. List everything you've eaten, and most importantly do not forget. Again after a week or two it becomes habitual. Why does this help? It makes you more conscious and aware of what you are eating.
Lastly, think to yourself the maximum, or most comfortable amount of jumping jacks and sit ups you can do. For the teenage years, I would say 100 Jumping jacks and 25 Sit ups is suitable, more or less depending on the person. Every day after dinner do 100 jumping jacking and 25 sit ups, BUT (this is the influential part) Increase each of those by 1 every other day. So if monday you do 100 Jumping jacks and 25 sit ups, Wednesday do 101 Jumping Jacks and 26 Sit ups, and just keep going.
It seems easy because it is. It really is easy to keep losing weight. Don't think though, that you have to give up everything bad from your diet, because you really don't, unless its carbs. My doctor had told me (when he told me all of this) that once a week, you can have whatever it is you want for dessert, but ONLY once a week. Since then I have followed everything he told me, and without even trying a little bit, I keep losing weight. If this doesn't work, maybe you should see a doctor about your problem.

heyy, guys im 14 and i want to loose weight for cheerleading and also for my quinceanera! i weigh 129 pounds. my mom is always telling me that i need to loose weight and that im too fat and that i eat too much. when she does that it just gets me depressed and sad and i HATE it!!
we have a treadmill at our house and sometimes i feel like i do wanna go and run but for some reason i always make up an excuse to not go. whenever my mom see's me running she always comes and starts exercising right next to me! sometimes its cool but other times i just want to run by myself because i would feel just more comfortable running by myself.
also, i always try to eat less and less. but i feel like i just keep eating more and more!

I went through a stage where I thought I was fat and i tried a diet, but doing it by myself was not the right option. I eventually went to see my GP and asked them to weigh me. He told me I do not need to worry, and I am at a good healthy wieght!
You do not need to stop eating or worry about this at 12! Just eat healthy food and find an excersize you enjoy! Just be happy with you! Or noone else will be! You will look fantastic in almost anything with just a smile and confidence!!!!
So next time you go for a chocolate bar, swap it for an apple! Or next time you are bored, go for a walk/run! Eat when you are hungry, but just dont over do it!!!

I am 14 also. When I wake up I skate around my neighborhood and do tricks. and then I will come home and drink water later on I will hula hoop. (hula hooping works out your abs) Then my dance crew comes over at 5 and we dance until about 7 then we go swimming. also on some days we do conditioning such as...... Frog jumps, crunches (make sure your tighten your body not just move your head up and down), push ups, hollow body holds, scissors, (etc.) But I enjoy skating, hula hooping, dancing, and swimming. That is acctually what I like doing most. but don't do that because I like it, do something active that you enjoy doing.
Of course you also have to eat right. The most important thing I have learned is that YOU MUST EAT 5 TIMES A DAY! 1. Breakfast 2. snack 3. lunch 4. snack 5. dinner. for breakfast eat something with low calories. I usually take strawberrys and chop them up over a yoplait light thick & creamy 100 calories & fat free French vanilla or strawberry yogurt. (total cereal is also good.) for a snack eat an apple or a banana or some type of fruit or vegetable. for lunch have a salad, you can add chicken turkey a low fat dressing carrots tomatoes, olives, and/or mushrooms. again have a low calorie snack, then for dinner go to subway and get a sub with no mayo. you can get mustard, meat, cheese, and any vegetables you like.
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO EAT ALL 5 TIMES A DAY. (or at LEAST 3) Because even if you feel like you aren't that hungry your body is. If you don't eat at least three times your body will believe you are starving it and go into survival mode and wont let you burn off any fat. Just eat low calorie and low fat things and you will be fine, and you just have to remember that you get to eat again soon so you don't feel the need to eat as much as you can. ITS NOT GOING TO BE YOUR LAST MEAL! (:
Also remember weight means nothing buy one of those little scare things that measures how much of your weight is fat and how much of it is muscle.

well, im 14 and i weigh about 234 lbs. i have lived mot of my life being obese, fat, and having a very low self esteem. I am self conscious at school, and by my freshmen year i want to be 180 at least. i know what i have to do, my dad has this very good diet, i used it for about, two months and lost 25 pounds. the only problem is, when i lose weight, how do i stay thin? i have tried everything, diets, exercising. and i really want to start doing something about my weight. for all of you that wnat to know what i eat in my day on this diet here is my menu:
Breakfast: Grapefruit/Orange-Glass of water-Melba toast
Lunch:Salad with chicken on topw/no fat or lov fat dressing-water-apple-melba toast
Dinner:Salad with chicken and low fat dressing-water
you can alo have as much celery and cucumbers as you want. be sure to drink lots of water so you arent hungry and i you need to much or eat, try ice cubes.
anyways guys it was just the ourth if july, im goin on the diet, im gonna ride my bike every day, maybe go to the pool. we'll see what happens. please anybody who wants to hlep me, give me good tips, please feel free to comment.

Ok so your 234, that is fine. Here is some secrets, when you go out to eat or eat in general, try not to eat 1/3 less than what you would origanly eat, so you can still eat your favorite foods and still loose weight :-) And an old family secret, when you make brownies or cake ,on the box it will say add vegitable oil, insted add a serving cup of apple sauce, the taste is SO MUCH BETTER and better for you with less fat and you can eat more, i love to eat cake XD. Last but not least,go green when you want to go to the library, ride your bike, when you want to go to walmart, ride your bike, you will be suprised what you may find on your way to a place that you never noticed in a car. P.S there is no pill on earth that will help you loose weight. these are just scemes that make you fart and make you sick and addicted. 8)

im basically 14 to :-P every summer ive lost weight, some of it from getting taller, but also from walking. Every day i would walk around the neighborhood, sometimes with my dog, or ride my bike. You dont have to do it long. And you dont have to cut out the foods (though it would help more) but just eat smaller portions. But im telling you, taking walks and bike rides really help for kids our age.
