I am also 14 years old and my parents do not buy much healthy foods as well. I used to be 160 (which isn't too bad but I was used to being 110-115). About 2 years ago I started gaining weight. I hated my body and also got acne. I stopped playing all sports because I had anxiety. I would always sit in my room eating fudge rounds and watching youtube all day. I got so tired of the way I looked that I started to change the way I was living. My mom would go to the gym everyday so I decided to start going with her and just walk on the treadmill. I found that it did help. I also started walking my dog up and down my street everyday while listening to music which was very helpful. Drinking a lot more water and cutting out carbs helped so much. The best advice I can give you is start walking at least 15 minutes a day and add maybe 5-10 more minutes each day. Drink more water and try chewing gum when you're hungry. It helps take your mind off food. Keep to your routine!!! I promise you'll feel so much better in no time! :)

Ugh OMG I'm 14 too and I just made the cheer squad at my high school I usually weigh about 92pounds but then I noticed one day that I have been eating lots of junk food lately and now I weigh around 96 pounds I want to lose some weight!

I know u may think oh know u don't need to lose any weight at all but like I honestly have been very close to getting abs since I'm a gymnast but I haven't noticed any signs of that anymore. My height is 5,2.

I'm 14 and I weigh around 180, I'm not fat but not skinny or buff either. I have a lot of muscle for my age but I also have some fat on my stomach. I work out everyday, I do workouts like sit-ups, benching and a few other workouts for my arms and pecks. I feel the results with my mood and over all feeling, I always feel stronger and better when I workout but I don't see the results. I'm still chubby no matter how hard I work out but I'm keeping at it. For those who workout and notice the results, wat should I try?

you shouldn't focus on converting that weight into muscle, you are at a perfect weight for your height and converting that extra fat into muscle would make you seem slimmer and thinner with out having to lose weight. You'd have to do a lot of workouts and maybe not so much running a mile a day is good but running more can cause you to lose muscle which is what your trying to gain
