I am also 13 and weigh 118 pounds. What i dont like a bout diets is how im too laz to follow them. i mean im still a kid! i want junk food! but i realy want to lose weight :'(

im 13 as well i tried a diet about 4 months ago an it relly worked 4 me what you did was u dipped cotton wool in orange juice an ate it . it tastes really nice and in 1 week i lost 6 pouds and in 4 months i lost 5 stone . hope this helps you

im 12. and im 5'8. im also fat.. and its annoting the heckk'' outa me! i hate myself too. and my mom says its not good for me to hate myself soo much. but, i know im younger, but i tried not eating AT ALL, and it doesnt work. at all!!! and it made me feel REALLY sick.. :( so, jss, dont try it. just try eating healthier, and exercising! thats my resolution! that was my resolution last year.. and i lost 13 pounds in a week and a half! which made me feel really good about myself.. but then i stopped, so im'ma try it again, and not stop!

I am also 13 years old and about 5'7''. I understand that I'm tall so my BMI is about 150 lbs. However, I'm on the high end of my BMI so I'm looking to lose weight. I had lost about 4 lbs after I was the softball team at my school because constantly so I built up my stamina, so my advice is to start getting involved in sports. However, when the season was over, I wasn't exercising on a regular basis or eating as healthy as I used to, so I started to gain weight. Now, track is starting soon so I need to start getting out there and running.
Listen up ladies :-D , pay attention to the sports going at your school or if there isn't any, look for recreational teams. Or, if you don't like playing contact sports, just run. Running is good for everything: losing weight, building up your muscles, and making you healthy. But, make sure you're healthy as you're on a running schedule, otherwise you're throwing your chances of losing weight away. OR, if running isn't really isn't your thing, just get outside with your friends and play games like hide and go seek tag or just tag. I know we're 13 but believe me its still fun and it's good for exercising.

Im 13 weigh about 161 and the people that say there 119? Your not fat. Just work out you dont have to go outside do jumping jacks push ups lift weights etc. In your room. Do Jumping jacks as you wake up and goto bed.
Now for eating i dont really know. I eat a variety of things Junk and healthy mixed. But try making smoothies just get some orange juice some fruits i,e grapes bananas apples oranges. and put some milk and ice in a blender blend it up and you got yourself a smoothy.
