Hey same here hun,
I had my implant taken out 4 years ago, we have been trying for 3 years, I became pregnant with in the first month of trying but then miscarried after 5 weeks. Still trying and nothing, feeling really angry as doctors keep saying nothings wrong. I've even got a digital ovulation kit, all that keeps telling me is I'm NOT ovulating ahhhh

I am having the same issues. Low progesterone, no ovulation, no pregnancy after 2 years. I can't afford treatments, I'm so mad, I wanna sue the damn company!!!!! They ruined my life!!!!! Had the implant for a year, had it removed, because of complications, of course, and 3 years later, still nothing!!!!!

i am 19 years old and i have been on implanon for a little more than a year. at first i did not like it because the second month of having it i had my period for a little over a month but it was only spotting. After that it was super irregular i would spot for a couple days and then gone. now i havent got any period at all for about 9 months, nothing at all! i really like that because i hate dealing with periods. but anyway i got a bit skeptical because i am now afraid of not being able to get pregnant in the future because of it. i have no kids and still am pretty young. i want kids in my future but it really scares me that birth control will affect that for me. i guess its different for everyone though and it depends on a persons body. i just hope God gives me children in the future.

I had implaon back in 2007 and had it removed in 2010. I tried to have a baby since then and no luck. I still have a period but can't conceive . I think it's because of the implant.

I got this birth control when I was 16 years old and had it for about 1 & a half yrs. I hated it because it made me gain so much weight. I was always hungry & always tired. I never got my period when I was on it at all even after I had it removed it took a few months to actually get it & my period has been extremely irregular since. Before I got the implanon I was very regular. I'm now 21 and have been trying to have a baby for about 1 year but nothing. It seems impossible & I'm giving up hope. & the worse part is every time I miss my period I get hopefully only to be let down again when I get it 2,3 or even 4 months late. I'm positive the implanon messed me up. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone!

I'm currently 27 I had the implanon birth control back in March 2007 and had it removed December 2008. Since then I still do not have a menstrual cycle and have an increased testosterone and I was told I'm not able to conceive another child.

I DO NOT recommend Implanon. In fact I am currently trying to get the implanon in my arm located and removed. They do not care if you have problems with your device the manufacturers will tell you that that is just a risk you took and theres nothing they can do. My infertility treatments are getting quite expensive now. They won't pay for it of course. Oh and my Implanon expired in Feb of this year and after being told originally that the horomones wear off 6 months after removal I'm not being told that it can last up to 10 years total. 10 years..?! I got it 4 years ago and I can't imagine being infertile for another 6... My husband and I originally got this just because we wanted to be responsible parents and be in control of when our children were born. That has been taken from us. Don't get any birth control you can't control. Whats worse.. a yeast infection or no longer having the option of kids.. I wish I would have gone with the pill.

Hi I have always been on some sort of contraception when I was 15 I started with the depo injection I had this every 3 months till I was 20 when i was informed by my doctor I should change because using the depo injection for so long in adolescent years can cause brittle bones so I then went on to the implanon I am now on my 2nd implanon and planning to have it taken out as me and my partner are wanting to start a family however I am very worried as when I started the depo injection at 15 my periods completely stopped and I haven't has one since even whilst on the implanon is this normal? And should I be able to conceive normally?
