I am 48 and I feel pregnant. I have fluttering feeling in my abdomen, extremely tired, etc. I had a negative test. I am disappointed as my hopes are I am prego. All symptoms say I am, but negative.
I'm 51 and 10-week pregnant through egg donation. I started menopause (missing periods, getting light periods, hot flushes) just as I was beginning the ivf treatment and my pregnancy is relying entirely on pills, patches and injections. There's the comfort of knowing the foetus is developing from a young healthy screened egg. And the discomfort of taking medications (side effects) and worrying about how my 'old' body is coping! But so worth it. I waited so long to have a child, wasn't very lucky with all I tried... Prior to deciding for an egg donation programme I thought a few times that I was pregnant. But it was probably just hormones playing tricks (pre-menopause). Good luck to all of you hoping for a baby!
I am in the same position as you, what was your outcome? I did take an over the counter test but it said not pregnant, but my body is saying pregnant!!
I wasn't supposed to have children after my first daughter because of scare tissue from ripping during delivery. Ten years later I got pregnant after a huge cyst burst. So I ended up with 2 beautiful daughters. But that was the end. No pregnancies afterwards.
