It's been 2 months since I did it and they haven't grown back. I did it twice, after the first time there were a few still sort of visible but already a major improvement. I had pretty bad PPP to begin with, and after the second time they were all gone. This is the only home remedy that's actually worked for me, and when you look at it logically it makes sense why it works. Doctors treat PPP by burning them with a hyfrecator or Co2 laser, so it logically a soldering iron is capable of doing it too. If it's too nerve wracking then just go to a doctor, either way don't spend the rest of your life with these little buggers. Peace.
Right so Ive just done the procedure with the Emla and a 40W iron and to be honest the lil man looks a mess, the accuracy of the soldering iron was nowhere near as good as I thought it would of been, the scabs are very large and some look like large craters in the skin. Would someone who's done the procedure be able to tell me if the scabs and craters heal properly over time in order for the surface to be smooth? quick reply would be appreciated, I'm slightly panicking.
Yeah it always looks a mess. While I didn't have 'craters', it pretty much looked like I ran my peen through a machine.
But a week and a half later the skin peeled off and everything looked perfect.
Yeah, don't worry. While I didn't have 'craters', it looked horrible. Like I ran it through a machine.
But in a week or so the skin peeled, and it ended up looking better than the skin on the rest of my penis honestly.
Of course I can't tell if what you're describing is exactly the same to how mine looked, but it sounds similar. And yes it all healed just fine. Took about a week before the outer layer of skin peeled off, underneath was dark red skin which took about another week to fully change back to normal skin color. Make sure to keep it clean, if it's too sensitive for bathing then use a topical anti septic like Polysporin or Neosporin until it's less tender.
Im the the guest from 3 up^^^^
Thanks for the reply's, Im not able to get Neosporin in the uk so im just using an antiseptic burns cream, should that be ok? I'm applying it on a morning and night. and would it be better for it if a went in the bath or should i stick with the shower and just let the water trickle on it for cleaning it? cheers
Yeah, Neosporin is a just common brand in North America, but any antiseptic cream should work fine. I think showering is better than a bath, if it's not to sensitive to let water trickle over it then I would definitely suggest doing that. I was letting water trickle over in the morning then holding my foreskin back to let it air dry, and putting antiseptic at night. I started using soap in the shower again after about 5 days.

I can't vouch for a burn cream. Neosporin is just a branded Triple Antibiotic Cream, which very common.
I suggest keeping it doused in Neosporin, and like, take baths. Use BLOW DRYER to keep your peen dry.
Leaving water on it would be the worst thing... Bacteria could grow rapidly.
Hi I do understand... I am after all not perfect. There are loads of things that I would love to change about myself...but I would not risk damaging myself. I just wanted to let you guys on here know that not all girls are going to have a problem. I was trying to help. Also any girl who can't understand or thinks you have an STD is shallow and not worth the time. Don't be ashamed of them really. I just wanted to say be careful. You only have one d***, don't damage it! I hope that you can find a solution...and they are not that 'yucky' looking..! :-)
Thanks for trying to be inspirational but let's be honest here:
If I was someone looking at how my penis used to look even I would think I had an STD.
Hell when they first started appearing I was a virgin and still thought that I had an STD. I wouldn't call a girl shallow for thinking the same. It doesn't look nice or normal, and since PPP isn't talked about it's like "WTF IS THAT!"
Let's be honest here.
I'm sorry you feel like this, but really there are more important things. You say used to look like..? Did you manage to 'cure' them..?
Of course when you see them you wonder what they are, but to me when I am intimate with someone it is because I care a great deal about them. I wouldn't want to hurt his feelings with a reaction like that. Although, I do understand that not everyone is the same,s it may be that my boyf case isn't as severe as yours or others, I 'm not really sure..!?
I guess I am one of those people less concerned with the way people look. As long as you are healthy.. that is the most important thing, I guess this was my point. The thought of guys putting a soldering iron down there kind of got me worried.. but hey...they are your bits..!
That's beautiful and sweet. But yes, mine are gone with the method discussed in this thread.
Insecurities are insecurities, and whether you have a partner that's okay with strange looking bumps around your penis or not, it's great to get the chip off of your should if you can.
The majority of sexual partners will not be like you. Since you're so accepting, I'm curious as to why you ended up in a PPP cure thread now :)
You used the soldering iron then..? To be honest, I kind of forgot that he had them, until I was down there the other day...;-). I asked him what they were called and he didn't know. He isn't English, though he did know that they were harmless. Me, being me, decided to research on the internet. I just wanted to confirm they were harmless and seeing as we have a son together, wanted to know if they were hereditary or not. Once I googled it this thread came up. That's it really.. I'm pretty sure that he wouldn't try the soldering iron, but hey, I'll tell him if it worked for you and see what he says! Ouch - probably..! Really though, he is not bothered and neither am I. I just want him to be in full working order, if you know what I mean..! I'm glad you found a solution..! :-)
That's really great. Perhaps it's different when you have children.
Personally, I'm only 23 and when you kind of grow up with these things there's always a chip on your shoulder that kind of stunts your sexual growth.
Mine were small and fairly unnoticable, but still they were there. I just started dating again and I didn't want any questions.
But tell your boyfriend it's painless.
