Period 1 week late, cramps, and a negative pregnancy test

My period is one week late. Not that big of a deal, but they are usually pretty regular. Mabye only one or two days difference. So I thought I would take a test to see if I'm pregnant. I have taken two in this time period, both were negative. I am having cramping like if I was on my period. All the normal sensations and pains that I get when I'm on my period, I'm having now, except breast tenderness. I'm not under any undue stress that would delay my period. I am also having pain in my lower right side of my abdomin, a little lower then my hip bone area. I can take the negative pregnancy test, but with all the other symptoms, I'm a little confused as to the problem. The cramps are very convincing that I should be starting my period but nothin has come down. I haven't even had any spotting. I have a 4 year old. When I took my pregnancy test with him, I took it 2 days before my period was due and it showed I was pregnant before I put it down. I had a Cesarean section with him. Not sure if any of this would have anything to do with it. I just wanted to give as much info that I could. Does any of this sound like I should see a doctor? Or just keep track of all the symptoms and see what happends.
I'm just sittin here frustrated and confused.
I came to this site/subject because i was worried that i might be pregnant and only found one reply that helped. I was hoping to hear that someone had the same symptom I did and turned out NOT to be pregnant and thankfully one person did so I stopped worrying and eventually I TOO got my period and was not pregnant, thank God! So, a week before my period I got cramps like I normally would and thought I was getting it and this went on for about 2 1/2 days but no period. Then they stopped and a few days went by and then I got it. This was just really strange since normally I get cramps literally in the same hour I get my period. This is why I thought something was really wrong and I started reading how cramps with no period can indicate pregnancy. So thankful it doesn't ALWAYS mean this!! So if this is happening to you, know it's not a sure sign, BUT...I am also 46 and could possibly be going through some sort of pre-menopause symptoms or something. I don't know.

hey everyone, 30 day cycle give or take every regular, usually I get really bad period symtoms such as bad cramps, sore boobs that kinda thing this month I got nothing, however I'm now 8 days late and have been under alot of stress, I took a test at 4 days late it was neg, took one yesterday and that too was neg, I'm gonna take one tomorrow and next week, but I don't think I'm pregnant, got no symtoms, hopefully just stress, I think I'm stressing myself out more, any one else had these problems?:( long term boyfriend but we aren't ready for kids xx

Hey there. So I'm engaged and my fiance and I are TTC. I am now 3 days late for my period and took a test yesterday morning which came back negative. I have slight cramping which is a lot different from my usual period cramps, very strong lower back pain, my breasts are sore but a lot more sore than when I get my period and it's odd because it comes and goes. I'm also nauseous randomly and have been sleeping a lot more and been more moody and emotional than usual and by saying I'm more emotional I mean I'm very emotional because I have manic depression. I will make sure to keep you posted as I've yet to see any real help on here. Some people provided great feedback but that was only like 2 so seriously.... And it makes me really sad to have read this thread and see 16 and 14 year old girls saying "help, I'm only 16" or "I'm only 14". If you're ONLY 16 or ONLY 14 and not ready for a child, keep your legs closed, it's the best way to not get pregnant and not look ridiculous on a thread like this.
Hello there!im 7days delayed,took 4 hpt but i got negative results.im worried because last may i got miscarriage and aftr that i got a normal menstruation cycles not untill this month that i missed.could i still be pregnant even i got negative in hpt?

i was due on my period on the 27th of september as of now i am late my last period was 27th of augast i went on my honeymoon on the 29th of augast wich lasted until the 31st then around 10 days later i had a bit of spotting wich lasted a few days i didnt know wether this was the last of my period leaving me or was actually spotting i would much appreciate any replys that may help me to figure out what this could be?

I am having the same symptoms very bad cramping feelings,.sore breasts, bright blue visable veins in them that have never been there before, and also feeling dizzy seeing stars and 9 days late on my period i am 23 and married we have been ttc for 4 years it would truly be a miracle to have a baby but i have taken two HPT both were negative so i went to my doc and had a blood test still waiting for the results and i will update once i find out...best wishes to all of you wanting your own little miracles :)

I am a week late and been having lower back mild back aches, that I usually get when I'm getting my period. Took a test this morning and it was negative, but with my youngest when I was a week late I took a test and it was negative. But I felt I was pregnant and decided to take another test three weeks later, and it was solid positive. Just don't know if I can wait till then, I know a bw is quicker but can't afford it really.
