You are a id**t and i hope some how you lose that job as an mp because you obviously don't know anything about medical needs or demands.
I used Sea Salt in my tub bath, when the pain became to great to bare.
It helped to drain out the infection.
You need to stop messing with it because it can get infected and turn into an abnormal size pimple. Just wash it with warm water and soap 2 times a day. You can also place a cloth soaked in warm water over it for a couple of minutes so that it can open the pores and and it will go away on its own.

They didn't teach spelling in your medical school? Professional - absurd - emergencies - hospitalization - stuff
Over 20 years ago (yikes!) I had what I thought was an ingrown hair on the left side of my pubis (I'm female.) It was just a red pimple-sized growth that I attacked by trying to squeeze the life out of it. I can't remember the details exactly, but the pimple persisted, and got redder, so I attacked it with sharp, pokey things like very thin beading needles. I managed to get SOME gunk out, but still the growth stayed. Then the redness went away, and still the growth stayed!!! Finally, I pointed it out to my gynecologist, who informed me that the previous pimple had calcified (turned to stone) and it would have to be removed.
Removed it was, and it was a lesson to me about playing doctor on my own self!
There is a nine month wait to see a doctor in my town and no walk in clinic if you need something taken care of in less than a year that sometimes this is your only choice.
try Manuka Honey. Or some steroidal ointment.
I get these all the time. I am male, 30, been getting them since puberty, I usually get one every other month or so. I recently got one right on the base of the ol oak tree, manscaping has been good to me, but not this time. Anyway these are usually nothing to worry about. Pretty much just consider it a giant zit. I get them most often on my inner thigh where my cloths rub in the crotch region. I just wait for it to come to a head (if it grows slow it is more painful, be prepared) once it forms a head you will notice the skin over it will be starting to dry up and peel away. This is your bodies process of forcing objects (hair, splinters, etc..) out. Once it gets the dry skin on it it does not hurt to poke it with a sterilized needle. This allows it to drain pus and blood, if you you poked it in a good spot and are able to get everything out, then you should notice the pain subside with the pressure release of draining it. Usually this is all it takes for me, then I put some neosporin on it and I'm good to go, it heals in about a week. Sometimes however they require more then one poking, if you don't get everything out the first time it's likely it will plug the hole and continue growing again. Just keep draining it, sterilizing it, and keep it dry. A doctors visit is not necessary.
Also to the person talking about making people wait in the ER, you pay the same price whether it's a splinter or a severed arm, and as some stated above, there is a reason they have a thing called triage nurses. People if you truly feel the need to go to the ER, just go. We all pay taxes.
why pay a doctor an arm and a leg to do something you can do yourself very easily?
