had gallbladder lapropscopic surgery two days ago. have been exsperiancing itching and burning in the anus ans slight blood in the bowels. has this happen to anyone else or should I be worried.
well my friend my husband had his surgery 8 months ago and the anel leakage is horrible he really suffers. if you have found a solution will you please let me know. a cure or assistance in helping the matter would be a god send. like I said he really suffers a lot with the leakage. thanks and god bless you
I had the surgery five days ago and I am still so uncomfortable and sore I am writing this at 4;30 in the morning because I can't sleep. My mother in law doesn't understand why I was not fine in three days as she supposedly was when she had undergone the same surgery a few years ago. A lot of pressure from her and other people who think because it was laproscopic it doesn't warrant that much sympathy. I think that's b.s., as I still had an organ taken out from my stoMach and it has been no picnic. I'm a little better every day, but still pretty miserable. Top incision is painful and hot. People swho have had this surgery should not feel bad if they aren't better in two days.
I had my gallbladder taken out on December 26th 2013, so ten days ago. I have been walking and moving around with no issues since the day of my surgery. (miracle) The oly issues I am having now are a little nausea, incisions itch, and diarrhea. Other than this I feel like I never had surgery and thank God I had almost no pain or soreness afterwards!
I would tell your mother in-law that everyone's body heals differently, and keep taking it easy until you feel better. No one should make you feel pressure to hurry up and get better, you aren't her and your body is doing what it needs to be doing. Good luck!!
Further to my post above, I am now almost six weeks after surgery and still in pain. I have developed an infection where my gallbladder was, and am now on antibiotics. I have been told I will probably need several courses of antibiotics. I have also developed upper back pain, which I'm not sure if this is because of the op or antibiotics! It's never ending!
It was a snap for me. I had mine out a week ago yesterday. I don't have any pains, I am energetic , this is the BEST I FELT IN YEARS , and I lost a few pounds. I pretty much eat what I want and I am 42!!! Love that I had surgery. No more stomach issues and bloating and pain.
I had mine out a week ago yesterday and I don't have any problems.
You are so so lucky not having any pain. I am now three months after my op and am still in pain. I have been told that I might experience pain for another two months. I know I had complications and an infection but didn't expect to still be in such pain. I feel tired most of the time and in pain after any form of exercise. I I know I had to have the op as my gallbladder had burst, but I wish I had never had to have it. I don't feel like myself anymore
Charissa, how are you feeling now? I had gb surgery 5 days ago & still feel so fatigued, have diarrhea & low grade fever. Just wondering how you're doing?
I understand exactly what your saying.
yes< thought a alien was in my belly...heehee trippy feeling...why? not sure..
Just had laparoscopic surgery last Wednesday. Stayed in hospital for 2 days afterward/ was actually in the hospital to begin with had CELLULITIS in my arm was on IV antibiotics for 6 days in hospital every 6 hrs. Also 2 injections in my belly twice a day for blot clot prevention. My Gall Bladder flares up while I am there, So they order more tests to find I have GALL STONES. So DOCTORS INTERNS NURSES all talked to me after the tests so 2 days later GALL BLADDER surgery is scheduled along with dye test for the ducts to find out I actually had irritated ducts and had passed a stone on the hospital. So they release me from hospital 2 days after the gall bladder surgery and 6 days for the cellulitis ...They send me home with pain pills and MORE antibiotics. Today is now 2 weeks after this all crazy nightmare. Last day for antibiotics, They leave a horrible taste in my mouth I cant get rid of. I have no taste buds left. I don't feel like eating. I live on cream of wheat, Popsicle, soup and plum juice and smoothies. I always have gas and haven't had normal bowel movements. Always afraid to eat anything. I'm very sore and exhausted but starting to feel better as the days go on. I guess its only been 2 weeks. But I just don't have a taste for anything. It doesn't help I had 35 IV bags of antibiotics I guess....I look like a pin cushion. Hopefully I am back to normal in the next couple weeks. The gall bladder surgery went better than I expected. I had a great surgeon and I was in a great hospital. FAIRVIEW PARK HOSPITAL...
