Pregnancy test taken before period due says negative but is

hi again well another month has gone by & my period is due either 2mor or the day after but being the impatient plum that i am i decided to do a pregnancy test this morning and guess wot it was negative... i couldnt stop crying! i was convinced that i was pregnant :-( i dont understand wot we're doing wrong, and im still telling myself that the test is wrong & that i did it too early so now its back to waiting (aaahhhhhh)!!! hp everyone else is doing better than i am x

This is my second month trying with hubby (its funny how thwy second).. I should say second try snce theres only the one egg every month!!! That firstly shocked me as I did research..when your young your pretty much told you will get pregnanat from holidng hand with a guy!!!! The pregnancy test I took says it can detect HcG level 5-7 days pre-menstruation. Its apparently super sensitive called "forelife". So could it be possible though that I may still be pregnant and it isnt picking up hCg IN ME...%-)??? Im hoping this doesnt tke too long as hubby and I are ready as can be..

Hello, I'm so glad I found this site...I think I'm losing my mind a little bit! My husband and I lost a baby at 3 1/2 months. I had a D&C on Feb 13/09. My doc advised me to wait at least one full cycle...Sooo I was ovulating May 13-18th (ish)...We had sex everyday ( I even hung upside down) Im convinced they can swim better!! Im know waiting with baited breath as I'm five days away from getting my period.... I took a pregnancy test today ~ negative~ However when i was pregnant the first time I add a false negative too. I'm hoping this is the case again!! My period is due June 2 ...I dont want it!! I want a little baby so bad it hurts...Our first ~ God had bigger plans for....Wish us luck....xo

hey i was having some strange symptoms and i think i may be pregnant. ok first off, im nauseated ALL the time, at first it was only at night but now its in the mornings too. also, iv been cramping like crazy all the time, it feels like im about to start my period at any moment. i had a little spotting at the beginning of the month but it was mainly brown discharge. iv been really hot here latley too. also, ive been exhausted. i feel like i could just lay in bed for days. iv been having random headaches which is very rare for me. and last but not least, ive been having tons of bowel movements here lately, and heartburn after every meal. i feel pregnant and i have 5 days until my period. does anyone know whats going on with me because im so confused! this has been happening for about 2 weeks and continues to get worse. !

So I guess i am not alone when it comes to early HPT takers. here is my situation I got my period june 4-5th ish, my hubby and i had sex on the 17th (according to online ovulation calcs...my most fertile day) and now my period should be here this week, actually in like 2 days. I was on the nuva ring the month of may and not this month? Does anyone think i have the odd of being PG? i am having fatigue, sore nipples and light cramping in my abdomen area...i really hope we are! i want to be a mommy so bad and my husband wants to be a daddy! pray for us! im praying for all of you who want this too!

Hi I'm in the same boat as you. Due on tomorrow or Sunday and took a test last night before my hubby got home as I didn't want him to be there when it came back negative. Feel like i am beginning to become obsessed with getting pregnant. Constantly searching on the net for symptoms that match mine.I usually get really sore boobs from ovulation till my period but didn't suffer from this at all this month. Plus I didn't get the usual symptoms I usually get with PMT. Anyway took the test last night and saw just the one line. was quite upset and have continued to feel down today. hang in there guys and keep trying! Praying for you

hi everyone im so frustrated i feel like im losing my mind. me and my partner are trying for a baby, my period is due in 2 days and for some reason we decided to take hpt today, i was hoping and praying with all my heart it would be good news but it was negative! its just so upsetting when you get that negative result month after month i just cried its the worst feeling ever. I have had a few symptoms like pain in my lower abdomen mainly on a night, also ive been feeling really bloated and full lately for no reason,and breasts have been a bit tender. Now im wondering if i took the test too soon and i could still be pregnant, the test i took said 99% accurate from the 1st day of your missed period, i just thought since period due in only 2 days would still detect it. Should i test again after missed period or am i just clinging on to false hope. We just want it so much and i hate being disappoinnted time after time. good luck to all in same position as me x

its god to know there are people out there the same as me my problem is im having symptoms of pregnancy for eg i have sore breasts and they have grown my partner comented on them as they have carried on im constantly eating and am tiered all the time im having mood swings and nose bleeds i also have a metalic taste in my mouth i am eating strange things aswell now i have an 18 month old all ready so all the signs point to being pregnant but tests say im not the only differance is i have had a period during all this my partner and i had an accident after a couple of drinks two weeks later i came on but as normal it was a couple of days late and was light as my periods are allways like this its not strange to me but i was due on around the 8th of this month and i am now on the 13th what can you suggest to me please help

I am so glad I am in this boat i spotted last week a brownish pinkinsh discharge almost nothing at all and it was 1 week before my period was due so I looked on the web and it said I could have had implantation bleeding so I tested today 1 day before my period was due and it came out negative. Now I do not know what to do should I test again? I have been moody, tired, crampy, sore lower back. Are these symptoms in my head?

I hope someone will read this even tho it's an old post.. I had my period May 19th 2009. My periods are very normal. My husband came home June 3-19th.I took a pregnancy test 2 weeks after we had intercourse. It came back neg..i tested alot in June all were neg. My period was suspose to be on June 19th. Didnt come. On June 22nd i had streaky blood but only when i wiped for a few days. then it stopped. I went to the er june 20th for pains in my left side. they put me on pregnancy safe meds. but they did a pg test n they said it came back negative. but my urine had mucus in it. So i went on diet pills..on July 13th. I took them for 4 days & my period didnt come AGAIN. Period was due July 17-19th. I stopped the pills imdeitaly (sp). I took a pregnancy test it showed a very faint postive. i took another. It showed faint but a little bit darker. So the next morning I took one it was darker but still faint pos. Then I took another that evening and it said negative. My last period was may 19th 09. Its July 23rd 09. still no period Tested pos & neg. I have a little knot by my pant line on my left side. my weight dropped all the sudden & it went right back up. all i want to do is SLEEP! I feel bloated all the time. Cant stuck in at all..I get this stichy feeling still in my left side right above the knot. Could i be pregnant??????

Hey tiffany sounds like your in my position and it kinda nice to hear im not the only one..last nov the day before thanksgiving i miscarried, i was 5 months so i acctualy had to give birth and hold and take pictures of her (Haylyn Jean Dixon) she is in a way better place now. but i just wanted to give you my back ground be4 i go on. Its been almost ten m. now and me and my boyfriend have been trying since the day the doctor said it was okay. i have been going crazy because i feel i should be a mom right now and i feel like a part of me is missing so i want a baby really bad. well last june i tested a day be4 i was due to start it was negative and i started my period 2 hours later,, now july i have felt prego and have alot of signs such as running a warmer temp. craving food all day,and i dropped probably ten pounds toward the middle of the month and now at the end i felt really bloated and still do.breast are tender and enlarged, I have been very tired all of a sudden and i get light headed every once in a while., welp i was due to start my period the 26 and i took a test the 29 and it came out negative i was very upset, it was a cheaper one because im sick of spending so much on them for them to come out negative. its really getting to me. My aunt suggested to me that i might have an ectopic (i think thats how you spell it lol) preg. and im scared to even go find out .. well its been a week since i was due to start still no signs of it comeing either.. idk what is going on with me but i think im going to go to my gyno, and i think you should to (just a suggestion) i dont want to go but im thinking im going to have to because i have never missed or been late on a period since i was prego last time.. Hi I am due on tomorrow 9/8/09, and have already done two hpt, both have been negative. I have very, very tender breasts and they seem to have enlarged rapidly, I have also been tired all day and had a metalic taste in my mouth. Not to sure if my symptoms are just PMT related and I am so desperate to be pregnant I am imagining it! We have been trying for a baby for 3 months now and the last two months we have used ovulation kits etc, but nothing so far. We have a 19 month old son who we had after several miscarriages and I am hoping we are able to have another naturally..... Has anyone tested even when they have been due their cycle only for it to be negtive but actually be pregnant? Thanks to anyone who reads this Gemma

Hi! I'm just wondering what happened. Did someone actually experienced having negative hpt result before period is due but turns out to be pregnant after all? I also took the hpt this morning which is three days before my period is due and got a negative result. It is indeed frustrating. But I'm yet to have my period so I'm still hoping. Thanks.

hi everyone. i did a hpt when my friend pointed out my breasts were larger than normal. it came out neg 2 days before my period was due. the day of my period i took another hpt and it was positive. i took about 10 more over the next week, all positive. don't lose hope, just be patient. good luck xxx
