Pregnancy test taken before period due says negative but is

Hello. My husband and I have been ttc for 2 1/2 yrs now and I am so confused. Last Monday I saw an infertility specialist and he told me that I can't conceieve unless I do artifical insemination. But that night I went to the bathroom and there was a little pinkish blood on my underwear ( which would be on time for implantion bleeding) and my breasts hurt spook bad mostlymy nipples. I've had a discharge since and have been severely tired. I have fibromyalgia so that isn't a symptom I think. My period is due thursday and I took a test today and it said neg. I know it is two days early but the test was ept and said it could detect 6 days early. I have never felt like this before. Is there anyone out there that can say that they were in the same situation and was still pregnant? I need some hope please. And for everyone else out there remember it is up to God if you are gonna have a baby not doctors or yourself. I will definitely say a prayer for all of you. Please respond. Thank you and God bless

hi ladies, just took pregnancy test4days before my missed period....2actually an both negatve!! so upset but i find comfort in the fact that it was too soon to detect hcg levels. not going to take another until i actually miss my period! im having slight headaches odd backache an stomach cramps, very tired been so much more hungrier an sumtyms feel faintish also been running to toilet every couple of hours (anyone else experiencing that?) i read that it better if u do ur test in the morning and dont drink alot of fluids before hand as this dilutes ur urine!!! good luck for us all =]

Hey everyone, it's so interesting to read your stories and to know that i'm not alone. Recently i've been wanting a baby really bad. I had unprotected sex almost a week and a half ago. I have a 28 day cycle. My period is due in 4 days. I started getting pregnancy symptoms like 2 days after i had sex, breast tenderness and swelling, terrible back ache and the funniest cramping feeling in my lower abdomen which lasted over a week. These symptoms are totally unusual for me, but most have subsided, except for the cramping. I took a pregnancy test today, 4 days before my period and it was negative. I guess i'll just wait and see if my period comes on or not in 4 days then go from there.

I have the exact same thing, i get my period every 28 days, and I've been feeling very unlike my self, nausea, mood swings, body temrature cramping, and also lower back pain for these last 13/14 days my period is due tomorrow & i took 2 pregnancy tests one last night & 1 this morning but they both came up negative. I will be waiting to see if my period comes in 3 or 4 days & if it doesn't i'll take another 1 because i got my hopes up & i dont want it to happen again !

I am 29 yrs old back in 1999 I had a miscarriage after just finding out I was pregnant. With in 6 months I was pregnant again with My daughter which is now 9 and then when she was 6 months old I found out i was pregnant with my son which will soon be 8 yrs old. In March of this year I miscarried again. I was suppose to be 11 going on 12 weeks pregnant and the Dr. said that the baby had stopped growing at 6/7 weeks. I have been devastated. I have several people i work with that were due the same time i was and they are still pregnant and its really taking a toll on me. I tear up when i think about it, it's just crazy. Me and my husband have been ttc here recently this month being the first month since the miscarriage and D&C that we have actually been given the go ahead to start trying. I am due for my period on the 24th which is only 3 days away. I took a pregnancy test yesterday and it was negative but I am still holding out hope that I could be pregnant. I have been having some breast tenderness. Nausea, bloating feeling, dizziness and lower back pain which i know could all be signs of my cycle fixing to start. We just want a baby. My other children knew that we were pregnant before and it broke their hearts as well as ours when we found out the baby had passed on. I want to fill up this empty space. I am not sure if i am pregnant although we really hope i am. i wish all of you out there that are ttc good luck I hope it all works out for you guys. Keep me in your prayers as well. :-D

I know exactly how everyone feels and it's sucks big time! I done a pregnancy test 5 days before my period but it was negative. I was sure i was having pregnancy symptoms, tender breasts, abdominal cramps, hungry all the time but now i'm wondering if it's all in my mind! This is the first month that i have been off the pill and we had lots of sex around my ovulation time. I REALLY hope that i don't get my period and i just need to wait a bit longer to test.. Wish my luck ;-)

hello everyone, i know how u all feel, iv not been myself lately either 2 weeks ago i was sick in the afternoon ever since then been getting a strange feeling in my throat as though im gonna be sick, last 2 weeks been really tired not been wanting to get up till like mid day but still wanting to sleep(not like me at all, im usually up bout 9/10), not been feeling very hungry till the night (might get bit peckish), got bit of back ache one night last week, and since then if i do anything i just feel like i need to sit down, i get aches around my breasts on and off but not in my breasts and my back and stomache on and off, my nipples feel bit weired last few days, i get weired feelings in my stomach, iv not had the implanatation bleeding tho, my last period was bout the 12th may - 16th then me and my boyfriend had sex everynight from 16th may - 20th may because he lives in essex. iv been feeling pregnant, done a clearblue digital test earlier and was negative,due on in 4 days so just wait and see. fingers crossed. i did come off the pill just before my period end of april, thought i was having the implantaion bleeding on the 12th-16 may, but doctors say that it could of been my real period or just because i come of the pill, i had a period on the 29/30th april - 6/7th may, Does anybody think i am or not?. Hi all! I am in the same boat LOL! I am 34, and I just got married on 6/12/10 which according to the fertility calculators was my ovulation day (I have a 26 - 28 day cycle). My husband (he is 38 ) and I are positive I am pregnant as God has promised us our child. So here's my story - about 3-4 days after our Wedding night (and we've had sex everyday since :-) ) I started getting "symptoms" - my nipples have darkened, they hurt like crazy, they feel fuller, I'm sensitive to smells, I've had light bouts of nausea (due to smells), my back hurts, I'm tired more than usual, I'm hungrier more often, but after a few bites I am full and I am peeing what seems like a million times a day! So, I took an HPT (home pregnancy test for those, who like me, didn't know the terminology for a while) about 10 days DPO (days past ovulation) and it said negative. I was a little disappointed, but figured it must be too soon. So I bought a box of EPT that says "99% accurate up to 5 days before your period" which if I stick to my 26 day cycle is supposed to be tomorrow, and if I stick to my 28 day cycle should be Monday. So, I took one this morning and it still says negative. I wanted to cry. BUT, I thought that perhaps it was still too early seeing as how, in my research, it says the best time to have sex is BEFORE ovulation, so although my chances are less than had I had sex before that, I still have a chance to be preggo, just my HCG levels aren't high enough to be detected. I am praying for you, please pray for me as well. I hope some of the women who were on here before come back on and let us know what their results have been. Hey everyone, for all those people getting all those "preganancy symptoms" then getting negative results, I'm afraid you could be imagining them, well kind of, there is such a thing called "phatom Pregnancy" where our bodies want to be pregnant so badly that they actually create all these symptoms. Obviously I have my fingers crossed for all you people who are trying for children, but don't get your hopes up too much just because of symptoms because it could just be your body responding to you wishes of hopefullness. Just keep trying..thats the funnest part :-) :-D

Its nice to hear that I'm not the only impatient one with the at home prego tests. I have been trying for my 2nd child with my husband for about 2 months. I am trying the shettles method (sp?) It was very easy to get pregnant with my daughter and was hoping it was going to just as easy since were timing the ovulation time. I have 3 days until my period is set to arrive.. I took a test 2 days ago because as other women before posted I have been intuitive to my body. Maybe its wishful thinking. It was a negative. I didn't get a postive with my daughter until I was 11weeks and I wasn't really paying attention to a missed period or not since I was off pill bc for a couple months [period was irregular after off pill] I'm young but this time I have extra weight than when becoming pregnant with my daughter. I was 155ish and now at 178 lbs (was at 235lbs at end of last pregnancy) I'm in the overweight catergory so it kind of worried we won't be able to because of that. I will be anticipating the 19th and will see if the period comes. Does anyone recommend a good at home test? I have tried Answer, clear blue easy digital and early result brands.

Hi all, I was just doing some research on hpt and found this site. We are ttc for the second time and my test came negative, still hoping i'm pregnant, though. I tested early, about 4 days before my period was due with my daughter and it was negative, so I'm hoping this is the case this time also. So it is possible to have an early negative test and 9 months later a beautiful baby! Good luck to everyone!

Im so glad i found this site! Im another mamma who is guilty of early testing ;-) the first day of my last period was aug 13, my cycle is usually 28 days so my ovulation date would have been in and around aug 27, we had unprotected sex on the 26 &27 . The last time my DH and i got pregnant we were able to get pregnant on the first shot, i tested the day i was suppsed to get my period and it was a very solid blue line, alot of people told me that it was weird i got such a solid line so early and that i might be carrying twins (its in my family)or maybe my body just shows the levels early,so going by that info,and the fact that i had 1 baby not 2 ;-) i thought maybe i would be able to tell sooner with this one! Im Due to get my period on sept10. at this point i still have 5 days till it starts and ive alrady tested 3 times (ya i know im lame) of cource all negative.... the only reason i tested to much was that i really feel pregnant! Im hoping its not all in my mind and its not a phantom preganacy :-( within the last week or so ive gotten headaches my back is killing me, im always hungey ( i know that cravings dont kick in till 5-6 weeks tho) at times i feel warmer, and i just have this different kind of feelin in my abdomen... i really hope we are pregnant, but we just started to try and shouldnt camplain since i know alot of people take months even years to concive. Since i knew i was going to go overboard with the pregnancy tests i tottaly bought the super cheap kind, i think i`ll go and buy the expensive name brand 2 pack and try again a couple days b4 and then when and if i miss my period... And i`ll definitly come back and let you all know whats going on!! Ive read all the previous posts and havent seen anybody who had the same situation come back and update..i am one of thoes people who wants to know!! lol This seems really geeky but im tottaly preparing myself that im not pregnant since i had a dream last night that i got my period :-( But i guess its fun to keep trying till it happends ;-) fingers crossed my dream was just a dream!! and i`ll cross my fingers for all you moms out there in the same boat!!!
